The author won't make excuses; the fever has broken, with only a slight stuffy nose lingering. Basically, I'm fully recovered.

However, because my head has been foggy for the past two days, my train of thought broke, and my writing state dropped significantly. So although I got up early this morning, I suffered severe writer's block, writing and deleting repeatedly, none of it satisfactory.

Plus, time was limited this morning since I had to work on my day off. Therefore, there is only one chapter today. I felt it wasn't good to drag it out until midnight, so I released it early.

This book has currently reached one million words. The plot is gradually moving toward the mid-stage. I have to admit, I need more time to plan and reorganize the outline and my train of thought.

Today's chapter, plus the ones owed from my previous illness, makes exactly ten chapters owed. I'm noting it down: on June 1st, I will release ten chapters. That counts as making up six, and I will strive to make up the remaining four next week.

My reputation is backed by nearly three months of uninterrupted four-chapter daily updates, along with a record of ten-chapter releases at the start of each of those three months. I believe this is worthy of trust.
