The author offers no excuses; the fever has broken, only a lingering stuffy nose remains, and I am basically back to full health.

However, with my head feeling foggy these past two days, my train of thought was broken and my writing state dropped significantly, so although I woke up early this morning, I was severely stuck, writing and deleting, deleting and writing, yet remaining unsatisfied.

Plus, time was limited this morning as I have to work today on a compensatory day off, so there is only one chapter; I felt it wasn't good to drag it until midnight, so I released it early.

This book has now reached one million words, and the plot is gradually moving toward the mid-arc; I must admit I need more time to plan and reorganize the outline and train of thought.

Today's chapter, plus the ten chapters I owe from before my illness, makes exactly ten chapters owed; I'm putting it on the books: I will post ten chapters on June 1st, counting as six chapters made up, and I will strive to make up the remaining four chapters next week.

With my reputation of nearly three months of four daily updates without fail, and a record of ten updates at the start of each month for three months, I believe I am still trustworthy.
