Chapter 121: Lord Murphy Enlightened Me
"Father." Rasim Selwyn looked at the people in the courtyard. "Uncle Albert... why are you all here?"
"Of course because of you!" Lysander looked at his son. "How are you? Did Murphy hurt you? We are going to sue him! Daring to kidnap an Auror, it's really lawless! Now the evidence is solid, let's see how he can argue!"
"Father, what are you talking about?" Rasim looked at Lysander blankly. "How could Lord Murphy kidnap me! He just chatted with me, and we got along very happily!"
"Hmm?" Lysander paused. "Chatted? Murphy... Lord?"
"By the way, I was just looking for you, Father." Rasim held Lysander's hand, excitedly: "I have a very important matter to discuss with you. Let's sell those magical creature shops that don't make money to Lord Murphy."
"He just happens to need help in this area. He said he would also pay us a large sum of money. This is really an honor! Do you understand, Father? Lord Murphy needs us. Lord Murphy is the future of wizards! Only by his side can we maintain glory! And he has just started now, needing many people to help him. If we can be the first to defect, we will definitely be appreciated!"
"We will enjoy endless glory!"
Lysander was so shocked that he let go of his son's hand.
What kind of talk is this!
Who is this unfilial son?!
"Imperius Curse! It must be Murphy who used the Imperius Curse on you, right?!" Lysander thought of a possibility, shocked. "Don't be afraid, son, I'll lift the curse for you..."
"What are you talking about? How could I be under the Imperius Curse..."
However, Rasim didn't stop Lysander's Finite Incantatem either. After the latter tried several times repeatedly, Rasim shrugged. "You see, I'm not under the curse. Everything I said is true, you must believe me."
"Rasim, where exactly did Murphy take you?" Albert Runcorn asked.
"We went to..." Rasim was about to say something, but suddenly stopped. "Uncle Albert, I remember, you seem to regard Lord Murphy as an enemy, right? Do you still think so now?"
Albert examined the person in front of him. Judging by his appearance, it was Rasim, and his behavior and demeanor were consistent. It didn't look like someone was impersonating him.
But the words he said were shocking.
Lord Murphy?
Didn't this kid threaten to tear Murphy into pieces before?
"Avery, Yaxley, Uncle Albert... why are you all here?" Rasim looked at the few people vigilantly. "Are you preparing to deal with Lord Murphy?"
"Rasim, you are under a curse. Have you forgotten what you said before? You thought Murphy was an arrogant villain who didn't know the rules, have you forgotten?"
"The arrogant villain was me. The past me was too stupid, thinking that by relying on the shade of ancestors, I could do whatever I wanted. In fact, I was just a frog in a well! I had never seen the truth of this world."
"But Lord Murphy enlightened me! He let me understand a wisp of his endless wisdom, and he led me to that bright path of believing in him!"
"He let me understand that this world will eventually move towards destruction, and he is our only hope. He is our savior, the future king of wizards, the supreme emperor standing above hundreds of millions of people."
"This kid is crazy!" Avery said.
Rasim looked at Avery. "I know what you want to do. You have always been dissatisfied with Lord Murphy. You haven't accepted the true knowledge yet, but Lord Murphy has the protection of fate..."
He said, and suddenly took a step back. "You won't succeed..."
"Quick, stop him, he's preparing to report!"
"Appar..."
"Stupefy!"
"Petrificus Totalus!"
Two spell beams hit Rasim one after another, interrupting his teleportation, and then someone snatched his wand. "What's wrong with this guy?"
"Should be under the Imperius Curse."
"Then why can't it be lifted?"
"God knows."
"Forget it, take them away!"
Before Apparating, Albert looked at Lucius again. "Remember your words, Lucius. You can stay out of it, but if you stand on the wrong side. We don't mind getting rid of you together."
"You mean, if you want to become an Animagus, you need to have a Patronus of the same shape?"
After sending Rasim away, Murphy went to the Transfiguration Path Research Group.
After sending three wizards to the Chip Research Group earlier, Andrew Tooke had been pestering Murphy for people, so Murphy drew three more who had talent in Animagus transformation from the security shop's spell group and sent them to him.
After a period of research, Andrew had new discoveries.
"Yes, we originally had such a conjecture, but some time ago, we found a way to make a wizard's Patronus become a rabbit, and then when measuring his Animagus potion, we found that rabbit gene fragments indeed appeared in it."
"You know his previous Patronus was a turkey, which had nothing to do with a rabbit."
Murphy nodded. "I'm quite curious, what method did you use to change his Patronus?"
"This is not difficult. On one hand, it is to change his daily routine, living habits, adjust his body and mind, making him enter an open state of mind, able to accept inner changes."
"On the other hand, it is to let him continuously read, watch various materials about rabbits, and let him observe, approach this kind of animal, and even let him raise two, making him like rabbits."
"In fact, the form of the Patronus can be actively influenced. Even without going through this method, just by continuously imagining and shaping, one can also make one's Patronus change into a specific form."
Murphy also knows the Patronus Charm. This spell can be considered an advanced spell, but it is actually not very difficult. As long as you master the knack, plus continuous practice, the vast majority of wizards can master it. (Note 1)
In the few months since Andrew proposed that directed transformation might be related to the Patronus, Murphy had let the wizards in the security shop responsible for Transfiguration work start practicing the Patronus. Now most of them can release the spell, and there are already two wizards who possess animal-form Patronuses.
"Expecto Patronum!"
Murphy chanted the spell, and immediately, white light radiated from the tip of his wand, and then condensed into the shape of a bird in mid-air.
"This is... a raven?" Andrew observed the bird for a while and asked.
"Not bad. When I was in school, I was in Ravenclaw House. I originally thought my Patronus would be an eagle, but I didn't expect it to be a raven. Probably because I think this kind of bird is the smartest."
"I'm very curious, what kind of abilities can a high-level Animagus based on a raven obtain?"
Compared to the bat, which possesses several heaven-defying abilities, the raven does feel very ordinary. Apart from having the highest intelligence level among birds, it doesn't seem to have many special features.
But smart?
Is there anyone smarter than a human?
This ability is completely useless.
Note 1: In the original work, people constantly say that the Patronus Charm is very advanced and difficult to learn. But on one hand, it only showed defensive properties in defending against Dementors, and on the other hand, Harry's D. A. had quite a few young wizards who could practice it successfully, so it can basically be considered that this spell is just old enough, offbeat, and not many people learn it, but it is not as powerful and difficult to learn as rumored.
