Chapter 136: Comprehensive Physical Examination

At first, it was just a cramp in the abdomen, then the pain quickly spread to all parts of the body, as if flames were burning between the muscles and internal organs, as if the whole body was melting.

He couldn't help but kneel on the ground, his body twitching violently. With a crackling sound, his body suddenly shrank a circle, then the black robe turned into feathers, the soles of his feet turned into sharp claws, and the two arms gradually turned into wings.

Suddenly, a raven soared into the sky in the storm. At first, it flapped its wings as if crazy, but soon adapted to its new body and began to fly steadily.

It tumbled up and down in the rain, a shadow-like thing covered its body, the raven was like a fighter jet equipped with a jet engine, its flight speed suddenly increased, crossing a distance of hundreds of meters in an instant, and continued to accelerate. Suddenly, a cone-shaped air wave erupted behind the raven, and the surrounding storm was emptied.

Sonic boom!

The raven's speed had already exceeded the speed of sound, like a pitch-black lightning in the storm.

Murphy felt the joy of when he first learned the Flight Spell again. Perhaps it was because the body shape was smaller and lighter, more suitable for flying, or perhaps it was the effect of one plus one being greater than two. In short, his flight speed had far exceeded the past. Supersonic was just ordinary, and he even felt that reaching two or three times the speed of sound wasn't particularly difficult.

I don't know if it was the factor of the High-level Animagus, or if the raven itself was smart enough, Murphy felt that his own thinking didn't show any signs of being restricted, and in terms of senses, he was even more powerful than in the past.

At this time, the night was no longer just darkness in his eyes. The bird's four-color vision and the double-pupil light-gathering ability allowed him to see most things in the night clearly, and by adjusting the focal length, he could also see very far.

In the high-speed flight, he could still clearly distinguish most of the scenes on the ground.

Suddenly, he swooped down rapidly, and spread his wings again when approaching the ground, flying close to the ground for a distance, and stopped.

Then the change that turned him into a raven happened to him again, but this time it was reversed. In a moment, a black-robed, black-haired wizard appeared in the original place again.

He took a deep breath and opened his eyes again.

The four-color vision remained. He looked at himself, who had an extra layer of color, with a slightly strange feeling, and patted everywhere for a while, finding that there were no obvious deformities or mutations, his body didn't feel uncomfortable, his reason was still there, and there were no strange mental influences.

Murphy breathed a sigh of relief, Apparated back to the Magic Research Institute, and found Andrew Tooke. "Arrange a comprehensive physical examination for me."

…

"No lesions, no cancer, no major changes in appearance, weight reduced by three kilograms, height increased by two centimeters. The appearance hasn't changed much, the obvious change is near the eyes, the range of pupil contraction has become larger, and it seems to have become two, the iris shape has changed, and the color has become gray-blue. By the way, have you noticed that your eyebrows have turned into feather branches?"

"Ah?"

"This is one we just cut from your eyebrows. Look, although it looks similar to ordinary hair, it is actually hollow, and there are actually some very small feather branches on it…"

"This damn…" Although he knew that there would likely be many abnormal things on his body, this kind of change still made him lose some sanity points.

"This is just a change in appearance… the changes inside your body are far more than the external changes."

"First of all, a large part of your weight loss is because your bones are lighter, but their strength hasn't decreased, but has become tougher."

"Our X-ray images show that the bone density of most of your bones has become more dense, and the bone trabeculae in the cancellous bone have also increased by more than double. This would have made your bones heavier, but our measurements found that the material composition of your skeleton has changed, and it seems to have been mixed with more carbon, but we haven't found what its specific change is."

"The increase in bone strength is to adapt to your new muscles. Whether it's grip strength, arm strength, leg strength, waist muscles, etc., your various strength test data have exceeded the known world records by 1.5 to 2 times."

"But your physique hasn't turned into that kind of muscular powerhouse physique, so we can only guess that your muscle structure or material has also undergone a comprehensive replacement."

"Horizontally speaking, in terms of strength, you are equivalent to a transformed werewolf, but in terms of flexibility, you have reached the level of a vampire. You are now a superhuman."

"However, the changes in bones and muscles are trivial compared to the changes in your lungs."

"When we scanned your lungs, we found that your lung structure has been completely reorganized, with more airways, and they are not like ordinary humans, which are unidirectional tree-like branches such as main trachea, bronchi, smaller bronchi, and alveoli, but every channel is bidirectional."

"Due to the resolution, we cannot be sure, but some signs show that even your alveoli have been transformed into a dual-channel structure."

"This structure allows your alveoli to inhale and exhale from the other side at the same time."

"They can't even be considered alveoli anymore. We even suspect that some tiny muscles can control the contraction and expansion of the alveoli — just like the air sacs of birds."

"Due to this dual-channel structure, your gas exchange efficiency is terrifyingly high. We have calculated that the amount of oxygen you can provide to your body with each deep breath is more than eight times that of ordinary people."

"Combined with your heartbeat, which can instantly increase to more than 600 beats per minute, you can quickly complete energy supply to all parts of the body, allowing your instantaneous explosive power to reach a terrifying level. In short, you really are a superhuman."

"More importantly, these mutations have been integrated into your body very fittingly. Currently, except for small flaws such as your eyebrows, no negative mutations that would lead to lesions have been found."

"Oh, of course, you probably can't easily have children. Although you don't have an extra chromosome that cannot undergo meiosis like a vampire, your genes are already very different from ordinary humans. If combined with ordinary humans, the embryo is likely unable to develop normally, leading to miscarriage…"

"Of course, you probably don't care about this?"

Murphy shrugged. He was only in his twenties, considering this was indeed too early. Now this was more of a positive buff than a negative effect.

It's just not being able to reproduce, not being impotent.

Can shoot at will, and not afraid of causing human lives?

Definitely a good thing!

"What about the brain? I can feel that my thinking has become more sensitive and clear, and I process information from the five senses more quickly and in multiple layers. Are there any physiological changes?"

"Oh, the brain." Andrew looked at him with awe, "Of course, your brain is a miracle."
