Chapter 60: True Blood
"Scrimgeour is causing me trouble," Murphy said directly, "I need you to help me deal with him."
"Impossible!" Lucius refused flatly.
"If there is any wizard in this world more stubborn than Barty Crouch, it must be Rufus Scrimgeour! He is a stone! Nothing can move him! He will do whatever he decides to do to the end."
"So, he is soft and hard?"
"Don't think about it, you are finished, he will definitely catch your handle, sooner or later."
Murphy didn't care about Lucius's gloating. "This kind of tough personality, he is not very popular in the Ministry, right? He has been in the position of Auror Office Director for many years, but he has never been able to rise, is it because of this reason?"
"Even if many people don't like him, more people don't like you."
"There are also many people who like me." Murphy said. "Minister Millicent is quite fond of me."
"That's just a stupid woman, with some prestige among half-blood wizards, but she's just a small person."
"Even if she has been re-elected for several terms? Even if half-blood wizards now account for more than half of the Ministry of Magic?" Murphy sneered. "Underestimating your opponent is not a good habit, Lucius. Haven't you learned this lesson yet?"
"..."
Lucius was choked.
"Do you have any specific methods? I can help you contact some people, but Scrimgeour is very cautious. If you can't catch his handle, you can't bring him down."
"Kingsley, do you know him, how much do you know about him?"
"Kingsley, from the Shacklebolt family?" Lucius pondered for a while. "That's not a simple character, what do you want to do?"
"Nothing, one of his subordinates followed me before and was injured by me. He is now eager to catch me, you find someone to give him an idea, he will definitely listen."
"What idea?"
"Alex Wood. Tell him, if he wants to catch me, he must first catch Alex Wood."
Leaving the Malfoy house, Murphy came to Siren's Song and found Lisandro.
"You want my blood?" The latter was puzzled after hearing Murphy's request. "You want to become a vampire? Your aptitude is good, the ancestor might be willing to let you join."
"You misunderstood, I just want some of your blood. Or, you can have werewolf flesh and blood, but it must be fresh."
"What do you want it for?" Lisandro didn't understand at all, this request was too strange.
"Just say whether you sell it or not."
"Although I like money, I don't like it to the point of selling blood." Lisandro refused immediately. "What if you want to use it to curse me?"
"The blood of those blood slaves you transformed is also fine."
"You still have to tell me what you want to do."
Murphy thought for a while and decided to be honest. "Actually, I am very interested in the ability of vampires and werewolves to transform others into their own kind. I want to study the principles. This might be used to treat werewolf syndrome or improve your situation."
Lisandro became vigilant. "You mean, including turning me back into a human?"
"I mean, improve your sleep situation. You can't see the sun, your body will lack vitamins, stay up all night, and you are prone to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases..." Murphy began to talk nonsense.
Lisandro listened to him finish expressionlessly. "Go slowly, not sending."
"Alas, you consider it again, I will give you one hundred Galleons for a tube of blood, how about it?"
"Go, go, go, our vampire blood is not any potion material, not for sale!"
"Two hundred Galleons!"
"Don't go, I'm going to drive people away!"
When the two were pushing and shoving, suddenly a voice spoke, "Give it to him."
Both were stunned and looked at the bartender.
The latter was still wiping the glass.
Lisandro looked at the bartender uncertainly. "You said give it to him? What if he is unfavorable to us..."
The bartender gently put the cup back on the tray. "I said give it to him."
Lisandro looked like he dared to be angry but didn't dare to speak, angrily preparing to bite his blood vessel and give Murphy some of his blood at random.
But the bartender spoke again: "Give him True Blood."
"What?!" Lisandro was shocked.
The so-called True Blood of vampires is the source of vampire power and the key to turning others into vampires. This thing is very small in every vampire's body and is extremely difficult to recover.
The bartender didn't speak again.
Lisandro sighed, snatched a test tube from Murphy's hand, turned his head, put his fangs into the test tube, and a stream of crystal blood flowed from his teeth and injected into the test tube along the tube wall.
After a while, Lisandro handed the test tube containing about two milliliters of True Blood to Murphy. "Take it and get out."
Murphy put away the test tube, but handed over a third one. "It's a little less, why don't you give me some more?"
"You!"
"Do you know that this little bit is enough to transform several people!"
"Know, know, give me some more, give me some more."
Lisandro looked at the bartender pleadingly.
However, the latter was still silently wiping the cup.
"Okay!"
Lisandro aggrievedly followed suit and gave Murphy another two milliliters of True Blood, his face becoming even paler.
Looking at his expression as if he wanted to kill someone, Murphy silently put away the third test tube.
Forget it, don't bully people too much.
"Thank you for your help," Murphy patted Lisandro on the shoulder and nodded to the bartender. "I'll remember this favor."
After Murphy left, Lisandro looked at the bartender. "Master, why?"
The bartender finally put down the cup in his hand, looked at him for a while, and said: "Not everyone thinks immortality is a good thing."
"Especially our kind of half-hanging immortality."
East London.
Slums.
This is the former industrial area, close to the port. It has always been a backward area of London, with narrow streets, dense population, and dilapidated old buildings everywhere. Time seems to have forgotten this place.
Such soil is easy to breed crime.
As a permanent residence for low-income people and external immigrants, it has been linked to poverty, violent crime, and drugs all year round.
Someone once said that in the East End, everyone is either committing a crime or playing on the edge of crime, otherwise you are an alien existence.
It was already evening. Murphy added a Muggle-Repelling Charm to himself and flew in the air, his eyes scanning every block.
He came here to find a scapegoat.
He needed a guy who was extremely evil and wouldn't be a pity to die, to serve as a substitute in the plan.
Soon, he found some clues.
In a dirty alley, a group of hippie-dressed young people were beating a man curled up on the ground.
Murphy descended from the sky and lifted the Muggle-Repelling Charm at the same time.
The rolling black smoke and his strange attire immediately scared the little gangsters to pee.
He caught one at random. "Tell me, who is the worst villain in this district."
