Chapter 1183: Deny to the end!!
Only then did Harry and the others know why Umbridge came here at night. They saw Hagrid was extremely bewildered.
He was afraid he would let something slip. Fortunately.
Hagrid still knew to deny it to the end.
He argued: "I don't know, I haven't seen any students come here."
"Is that so?"
Umbridge pushed Hagrid aside.
She rummaged through Hagrid's house.
Even Hagrid's big cauldron, she didn't let go. It seemed she was suspecting that Harry and the others were hiding inside. Maybe she was finally unable to find a place to vent.
Only then did Umbridge look at Hagrid and ask: "What did you do during the summer vacation? Why did you only come back now."
"I went to look at the scenery!"
Hagrid covered his face.
His face hurt from twitching because he was talking. Umbridge showed a mocking expression.
"Look at the scenery? Looked like this?"
She pointed to Hagrid's face.
"Hmm, I fell..."
Hagrid said with a not-very-skilled lie. Umbridge curled her lip.
Then she mocked a whole bunch of things. Finally, before she left, she told Hagrid.
She was the High Inquisitor, and she hoped Hagrid would prepare his lessons well; she would definitely check them when the time came.
Hagrid even expressed a welcome.
After Umbridge left, Hermione worriedly told Hagrid what Umbridge had done before.
She told Hagrid he must prepare his lessons well. But Hagrid ignored this.
He said he was sleepy. He told Hermione to go back quickly. Hermione left angrily.
Of course, she took Darren and the others with her....
Sunday morning.
Hermione crossed the thick snow and returned to the castle.
She went to find Hagrid very early in the morning, wanting to help Hagrid prepare his lessons.
But Hagrid told her again that this was a secret, and he had prepared some particularly interesting little gadgets for them.
He also rejected Hermione's proposal to help him prepare lessons.
"He might think that Umbridge is at most like Malfoy, being directly blocked back by Headmaster Dumbledore!"
Hermione said angrily to them.
Darren showed a worried expression on his face.
He said anxiously: "I'll go find him..."
"Don't go, he's out!"
Hermione grabbed Darren.
She felt the coldness on Darren's hand.
"It's so cold, the snow is so heavy, you'd better stay in the castle!"
Hermione said helplessly.
Darren sighed. He wrapped himself up tightly. He hated winter!
Even with magic, he hated winter! But fortunately.
Today is Sunday, he can stay in the common room and roast by the fire to his heart's content.
But when it came to the next day, when he needed to cross the snow to attend the Care of Magical Creatures class, Darren began to ponder, was there any need for him to continue pretending to be sick and then go to the hospital wing to sleep?
However, he still gave up.
After all, it was the first lesson after Hagrid came back, so he had to give him some face.
So he shook vigorously, trying to give himself some warmth, and walked to the vicinity of Hagrid's hut, supporting each other with Harry and the others.
There were already many people there.
They were not very happy about Hagrid's return.
Because to be fair, the lessons taught by Professor Grubbly-Plank were what you called lessons. At the very least, her lessons were safe.
Instead of being like Hagrid, who always wanted to find some thrilling animals for them to raise, and even wanted them to express agreement from the bottom of their hearts.
"Very good, everyone is here, quick! Everyone follow me!"
Hagrid carried a dead cow from somewhere else on his back.
It made people feel that Hagrid was going to show them something thrilling and exciting. Darren saw the Slytherin students, terror appearing on their faces.
They were really scared by Hagrid.
Hagrid didn't feel he was scary at all. He led them into the Forbidden Forest with great interest.
Darren saw Malfoy's hands and feet trembling.
After all, when Malfoy first entered here, he was almost beaten to death by Buckbeak.
This made Harry burst into laughter.
However, Hagrid's mystery only lasted for a while.
Because after he mysteriously put down the dead cow, a Thestral flew over. Darren looked at the Thestral and sighed softly.
"Of course I know you can see it!"
Hagrid said softly.
Darren looked at Harry with a bitter smile.
He said with a slight choke: "I originally thought I could protect brother and let him never see this kind of creature in his life."
