Chapter 1259

~5 min read 948 words

Snape didn't come, but the potion was exactly the one Darren had brewed when he went to Snape's for career counseling that day.

He had already brewed it easily once, and could brew it a second time with his eyes closed.

Very clearly, he received a satisfied smile from this examining professor.

Tuesday was the Care of Magical Creatures exam.

This was almost without any difficulty for Darren. Wednesday morning was the Astronomy written exam.

Darren had no problems.

The Astronomy practical exam would be held at night.

The afternoon time was used for the Divination exam. But it truly made him laugh.

Because Professor Marchbanks asked Harry to look at her experiences for tonight through tea leaves.

Harry looked for a long time and concluded that Professor Marchbanks would see a round, fat man visiting.

As for palmistry.

Harry indicated in his knowledge points that perhaps Professor Marchbanks should have died last month.

Perhaps because Harry's divination was very ominous.

Professor Marchbanks was afraid that Darren would also give her such a divination.

So she asked Darren to divine what would happen tonight.

Darren used a crystal ball, tea leaves, palmistry, and various other props, citing classics to tell Professor Marchbanks that tonight would be a clear sky.

While Professor Marchbanks was dizzy, he slipped out.

Even if he knew what was going to happen in the future, restraint was what a diviner should do.

No matter what.

He should be able to give up Divination class. Eleven o'clock at night.

Darren and the others were observing the stars on the Astronomy Tower.

Professor Marchbanks asked them to mark all the stars and planets above. Darren finished writing at the fastest speed, and only half an hour had passed by then. He pretended he was still observing, but in reality, he had adjusted the telescope to Hagrid's hut.

Sure enough. An hour later. The castle door opened. Revealing a lavender-yellow light.

Then five or six elongated figures walked out.

Darren saw that among them was Dawlish, the Auror who had accompanied Fudge before. Umbridge was afraid Hagrid would run away, so she even brought Aurors.

These six figures entered Hagrid's hut. Then a silence.

Suddenly.

A vibrating sound came. Then Hagrid rushed out.

The Aurors behind him also rushed out. Six people kept firing red light at Hagrid. Several spells hit Hagrid.

But because of Hagrid's giant bloodline, he was almost unaffected. Instead, he used his fists to keep blocking these people.

"Ah!"

Hermione let out a scream.

Professor Tofty, who was invigilating, said uneasily: "Exam, exam, sixteen minutes left!"

But at this moment, no one paid any attention to him.

Because everyone was using their own telescopes to watch the fight there. Several more red lights hit Hagrid.

Hagrid was still unaffected.

Someone shouted loudly: "Hagrid, calm down!"

"Calm? I won't let you catch me!"

Hagrid roared loudly.

Darren saw Fang rush to Hagrid's side, trying to protect Hagrid. But a red light hit him.

Fang fell down.

Hagrid angrily picked up the culprit and then slammed him hard onto the ground. Then that person didn't move.

A chorus of screams.

Professor Tofty was still there shouting that there were only ten minutes left! But no one paid attention.

At this moment, the castle door opened again. It was Professor McGonagall.

She rushed out screaming.

"You, how dare you! He didn't do anything, why are you arresting him?"

But the answer to her was four spells. Professor McGonagall's eyes widened.

Then a light enveloped her. It was Darren.

Darren collapsed onto the ground.

He looked in the direction of Professor McGonagall with a pale face and shouted loudly: "Run, Professor, run quickly!"

Professor McGonagall finally came to her senses. She was blocked behind Hagrid.

Hagrid shouted angrily: "Trash, sneak-attacking trash!"

He slammed his fists hard onto the heads of those people.

Three of them fainted on the spot. Another one retreated several steps.

As for Umbridge, she screamed for people to catch Hagrid, but at this moment, Hagrid had already nodded at Professor McGonagall, put Fang on his back, and left.

A red light hit Hagrid, but it was bounced off again.

Professor Tofty walked up to Darren at this moment. After testing with his wand, he said anxiously:

"Magic power exhausted, you should go to the school infirmary, oh my god, it's so far, how did you cast the Shield Charm all the way over there."

Darren was supported by Hermione.

He didn't intend to go to the school infirmary.

Instead, he indicated that he would wait a while; he had potions in his dormitory, and he would go back to his dormitory to drink them then.

Harry and the others all understood that he was afraid that if he were in the school infirmary, someone like Snape would get an opportunity to force-feed him love potions.

"This vicious woman, she just wanted to deal with Hagrid in the dead of night!"

Hermione supported Darren and roared angrily. Darren nodded.

He leaned on Hermione and said: "It's clearly like this, but they miscalculated; Hagrid's giant bloodline has great resistance to the Stunning Spell.

Now Hagrid is gone... I hope he can return safely to Dumbledore's side.

Also, I hope Professor McGonagall is okay; she is indeed old and lacks the necessary vigilance.

It scared me to death at the time; if so many Stunning Spells had hit her, I was afraid something would happen to her!

When Hagrid was attacked, I was prepared for my magic power to be exhausted; fortunately, I didn't let our people get hurt!"
