Chapter 1505
Ron immediately pulled out his wand.
Mr. Lovegood stood before them with his arms spread wide.
He was blocking their path.
His already aged face looked even older now.
"You aren't allowed to leave! I have to save my Luna, you are not allowed to leave!"
Harry felt a bit dazed.
It was as if he had heard his mother's voice.
Back then, his mother must have spread her arms just like this.
She had stood in front of Voldemort, trying to stop Voldemort from killing him.
"Harry!"
Hermione suddenly called out.
Harry then noticed several flying broomsticks rushing toward them from outside the window.
He knew immediately that he couldn't let his mind wander.
He pulled out his wand.
He prepared to leave.
But Mr. Lovegood wanted them to stay.
He cast a Stunning Spell at Harry.
Harry dodged it.
The spell hit the horn of the Erumpent in the corner.
Boom!
The entire room exploded!
Harry and the others were all buried under the wall.
Ron's leg was pinned.
Harry and Hermione anxiously tried to pull his leg out.
At this moment, they heard the voices of Mr. Lovegood and those few Aurors.
"Lovegood, you're lying to us again, aren't you? I'm telling you, if you trick us into coming here like this, we won't let your daughter go!"
Mr. Lovegood was clearly not having an easy time either.
He said painfully, "They really are upstairs, please, I beg you, let my Luna go!"
"This old fool is lying to us again. Last time he tricked us with a diadem, and then he claimed some creature with a crooked horn existed—it doesn't even exist!"
"I beg you, they are upstairs!"
Mr. Lovegood screamed.
"There really is someone upstairs!"
An Auror's voice said.
These people seemed surprised.
"Old man, you weren't lying to us?
But you have to go up yourself and lure them down. We're worried you might have someone with you to ambush us!"
Mr. Lovegood dragged his leg as he walked upstairs.
Harry and Hermione were still pulling at Ron's leg.
His leg was buried very deep, and they were careful not to make any loud noises.
"Quick, we're ready to go!"
Harry said softly.
Hermione nodded.
But she rubbed her eyes and said, "Harry, trust me this once. Let Ron wear the Invisibility Cloak to prevent him from being targeted; he should be at the Nansai family's house right now.
I need you to grab my clothes, you have to show your face.
Ron, you just need to grab onto me; you two don't need to worry about anything else!"
Hermione said.
Harry and Ron quickly grabbed her shoulders.
Hermione blasted a large hole directly in the room.
They fell through.
Hermione pointed at Mr. Lovegood and shouted, "Obliviate!"
Then, after Harry's gaze met the eyes of the Auror who was trying to capture him, they finally vanished from the spot.
