Chapter 306

In the infirmary, Snape finally learned the reason Darren had become like this.

It turned out that before coming to school, this guy had been seriously injured while saving Nicolas Flamel, and the Ministry of Magic had only performed simple treatment before letting him come to school.

Originally, he should have been able to hold on until the end of the banquet before going to the infirmary.

Who knew that because he was worried about Harry Potter, he would finally have a sudden magical outburst.

He sat outside the infirmary holding his head.

His face full of bitterness.

Lily!

If you knew your child was so kindly taking a bullet for someone else, what would you do?

He truly inherited all your wonderful qualities, making it impossible to blame him at all.

It even left only full-blown heartache.

This child made him not even dare to say harsh words.

Even after a magical outburst, he was still worrying about others.

He sometimes even hoped this child could be a bit more selfish, perhaps more like Potter, a bit more malicious.

That way, he wouldn't make people feel terrified all day long.

When he heard Dumbledore's voice, Snape really wanted to try to smile.

Even if it was a mocking smile.

But he couldn't smile at all.

Thinking of the little brat's personality inside, he got a headache.

Especially hearing Dumbledore say that Darren was fine.

He almost died, and that counts as fine?

Come to think of it, he had to thank that savior for being caught on camera, otherwise this silly boy would probably have died of anxiety here, right?

Snape thought angrily.

Then he heard Dumbledore telling him to be nicer to Harry Potter, even using Lily's eyes as an example.

Had he not seen Darren's eyes?

Had he fallen so low that he needed to rely on a miniature version of James Potter to miss Lily?

Hah!

Right.

Since Dumbledore said he should get close to Harry Potter.

Then.

"I'll go wait for Harry Potter right now, just as you said, Dumbledore, perhaps I should get properly close to that child!"
