Chapter 747: I don't want to talk to you!!

~6 min read 1,051 words

In the memory, Snape told Lily she was a witch. Lily and Petunia didn't quite believe it and even had an argument with him.

Finally, Lily and Petunia ran away.

The memory changed.

This time it was in a small woods.

Snape was talking to Lily.

They were practicing magic together.

It seemed Lily believed Snape's words.

Snape took off his very heavy coat, revealing the maternity clothes inside.

He swung his long sleeves, looking somewhat ridiculous.

But Lily didn't mock him; instead, she helped him come up with ideas, probably wanting to help him live better at home.

Of course, they were still children, and they were mostly discussing magic.

They hadn't received their owls yet, but they were already able to use quite a bit of magic.

But Petunia appeared.

Lily liked Petunia very much, but Snape hated Petunia.

He thought Petunia was peeking at them practicing magic.

Petunia angrily mocked his clothes.

Snape fought back.

He made the branches above her head hit Petunia.

Petunia started crying, Lily stood up, she had an argument with Snape, and then took Petunia away.

The scene shifted.

They were standing at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

Lily was pleading with Petunia.

She held tightly to Petunia's hand, who was struggling constantly.

"Don't be like this, sister... maybe once I get there, I can convince them." Petunia was furious.

She shouted angrily: "I don't want to go there, that's a... a freak school!"

"But you wrote a letter to them, wanting to enter such a freak school!"

Lily said angrily.

"How do you know?"

Lily subconsciously looked at Snape beside her.

Snape was exposed.

Petunia was even angrier.

She cursed indiscriminately: "You are all a bunch of monsters, you are sent there to protect us, afraid that you monsters will hurt us!"

"How can you talk like that? Talking like that is really hurtful!"

Lily said sadly.

The scene changed again.

This time it was on the train.

Snape was walking hurriedly toward the front of the train carriage.

He had already taken off those strange clothes and changed into wizard robes. He opened a door.

Lily inside the door was crying.

There was a group of boys in the compartment messing around.

Lily saw him.

She said unhappily: "I don't want to talk to you!"

"Why?"

"Because we peeked at Petunia's letter..."

"She's just a..."

Snape swallowed the rest of his words.

He continued: "Anyway, we left that place, we are about to arrive at school, I hope you can enter Slytherin, that's where all the..."

"Slytherin?"

A boy turned his head.

It was James.

Although he also looked thin and small, the clothes on his body were the most expensive. He looked like a little prince who was pampered.

He wasn't interested in Snape and Lily just now.

But now he looked at them.

A look of disgust appeared on his face.

"Who wants to go to Slytherin? Do you want to go to Slytherin?"

James asked the boy by the window.

That boy turned his head.

It was Sirius.

He said with a grin: "My whole family are Slytherins!"

James was a bit unhappy.

"I thought you were pretty good!"

"Maybe I'll break tradition, so what house do you want to go to?"

"Gryffindor!"

James waved an invisible sword. It was clear he held Gryffindor in high regard.

Snape made a mocking sound.

He sneered and said: "Only those with brawn and no brains would enter Gryffindor!"

"And you? I see your brawn isn't developed, and your brain is quite simple too!"

Sirius interjected.

James laughed loudly.

Lily seemed to find these two guys very disgusting.

She stood up.

"Let's go, Severus, let's stay away from them!"

"Tch, Snivellus!"

The scene shifted.

They were standing behind Snape.

This was at the Sorting.

They saw Professor McGonagall placing the Sorting Hat on Lily's head.

The Sorting Hat shouted loudly: Gryffindor!

Lily could only drag her feet to Gryffindor.

Sirius made room for her.

But Lily was still very angry; she crossed her arms and turned her back to Sirius, indicating she was at odds with him.

Next were Lucius and Goyle... finally, it was Snape's turn.

The Sorting Hat shouted loudly: Slytherin!

Snape followed Lucius and the others to Slytherin.

They were getting further and further away from Gryffindor.

The scene disappeared again.

Lily and Snape were walking in the courtyard inside the castle.

They seemed to be arguing.

"I thought we were supposed to be friends, best friends!"

Snape said angrily.

Lily crossed her arms.

"Yes, best friends, but I hate your other friends! Especially that Avery, and Malfoy..."

"They are sneaky, you have no idea how bad they are in private, they even cast spells on Mary!"

Lily walked to the pillar, she looked up at that sallow, thin face.

"That's nothing, they were just joking..."

Snape defended.

"That's Dark Magic, if you think that's nothing..."

"What about Potter? Potter and his good brothers? They sneak off to the Whomping Willow every month..."

"He's sick..."

"What sick, he's just problematic, they all are..."

"Enough, why are you always staring at Potter and the others?"

"I'm doing it so you can see they aren't as excellent as you think!"

Snape shouted angrily. Lily's face was a bit red.

Her voice lowered.

"I don't think they are excellent, James Potter is just an arrogant jerk to me, and they say they saved your life..."

"Saved my life? What kind of saving is that? I just want you to stay away from them, that James Potter likes you, he wants to date you!"

Snape shouted angrily.

"I don't like him, if that's what you want to say, I think you should clean up your friends first..."

Darren thought Snape might not have heard the rest of Lily's words.

Because after Snape heard Lily say she didn't like James, his steps became lighter.

The scene disappeared again.

Harry saw a familiar scene.

It was the memory scene he had seen in Snape's office before. The scene where Snape and the others were taking their O.W.L.s.

Harry saw what James and the others did to Snape.

Saw them hanging Snape upside down in the air.

Saw Lily go up to help Snape, but was called that word that could never be forgiven: Mudblood!
