Chapter 603: Hogwarts Learning Panel, Chapter 255

He could use soul transformation alone to transform cat claws and whiskers; when he transformed whiskers, he could also naturally use whiskers to feel changes in the outside world.

That is to say, when he transformed into Wampus cat eyes alone, he was likely to also possess the Wampus cat's Legilimency ability.

An example here is that during the Triwizard Tournament, when Krum transformed into a shark head, he could breathe underwater;

A similar example is that Harry used Gillyweed, and the effect was to let him grow fish gills, so he could breathe underwater.

Going further, could this ability be used by stacking Legilimency, Confundus Charm, and Obliviate?

And at worst, it could be used as a unique non-verbal, wandless spell.

The hillside had towering ancient trees and a huge, gray stone. At this moment, the Wampus cat was playing with its tail at the edge of the rock.

Xiang Xien lightened his footsteps and leaned over slowly.

Unexpectedly, the Wampus cat quickly looked here alertly, and Xiang Xien inevitably looked directly into its eyes.

Thus, the Wampus cat exposed its belly.

Xiang Xien looked back at Senior Newt in a daze, and Senior Newt smiled as if he felt it was not promising, and then his eyes moved forward.

Xiang Xien walked to its side following Senior Newt's signal, and he kept in mind the techniques described in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"—

First hand over the raw meat, then stroke the Wampus cat's chin, press its ear roots, and help it smooth the fur on its back...

Looking at it this way, Xiang Xien thought the Wampus cat was more like a cat than a leopard.

After the Wampus cat finished eating, it suddenly started purring, and the sound was very loud.

Xiang Xien was startled, and he quickly glanced at Senior Newt.

"It... likes... likes you very much."

Newt also walked over, and didn't look at Xiang Xien directly again, but looked at the purring Wampus cat, with deep joy in his eyes.

【You have gained the closeness of the magical creature Wampus cat (Delilah) with master standards, closeness +300】

【Magical creature Wampus cat (Delilah): Slightly close (Apprentice level) (270/300)】

The panel prompt rang out, and Xiang Xien saw the Wampus cat lying on its back with its four feet in the air, its tail sweeping toward him without stopping for a moment.

The closeness of the panel is divided into slightly close (apprentice level), relatively close (entry level), and close (skilled level).

And for close magical creatures, Xiang Xien's understanding and connection with them would also be profound to a certain extent.

Generally speaking, at this time, Xiang Xien had the first condition to complete the alchemy magic ritual.

As for the degree of closeness... Xiang Xien opened the panel:

【Magical creature owl (Bai Yi): Partner (Expert level) (5700/9000)】

【Magical creature Bowtruckle (Tila): Partner (Expert level) (6700/9000)】

In the distance, the low chirping of young Runespoors came from the depths of the forest.

Xiang Xien was still thinking about how to pocket Senior Newt's Wampus cat—three days was too tight, and it was hard for him to liver the closeness to the skilled level.

"Mr. Scamander... may I ask Delilah..."

Xiang Xien asked, deliberating.

"Delilah? It has been by my side since it was three months old... At that time, its injuries were very heavy, and it took a long time to recover—please speak, Mr. Green."

Newt stroked the Wampus cat's head,

"There are more people who want to understand magical creatures, which is exactly what I want."

Xiang Xien couldn't open his mouth.

"You said, Delilah was taken away by you at Ilvermorny, Ilvermorny..." ===== CHAPTER 604 =====
