Chapter 672: Pukwudgies in the Forbidden Forest
Sean returned in disappointment.
But after a few seconds, his furrowed brow slowly relaxed.
Next time, he could still find Lady Ravenclaw; that didn't matter.
The important thing was that he had obtained the answer.
The air was very cold, and the moon still hung high in the sky.
Only a faint grey-green appeared on the distant horizon, showing that dawn was gradually approaching.
Sean walked out of the Ravenclaw common room, and looking at the Ravenclaw portrait again, he felt a sense of trance.
A stranger thing than sending away a ghost had appeared, which was conversing with a dead soul.
In fact, he still had many, many questions.
For example, why did Ravenclaw choose him as her heir? Was there any special selection method for this?
For example, what magic did Ravenclaw's old book have? Sean clearly saw the words "Book of Ghosts" appear on it.
But it didn't matter. He had plenty of time to explore the mysteries of magic, and what was even more joyful was that he happened to be good at this.
This weekend, Sean had too many things to do.
On the plan map, it was easy to see a few special ones:
【Practice Legilimency magic in the dungeon】, 【Make a low-cost "telephone"】, 【Grind Cat-Leopard biscuits to "Skilled"】...
But none of these were as important as what he had to do now.
He stepped onto the corridor, where there was a thin layer of white frost on the ground.
On the armor on both sides, bright flowers left over from Valentine's Day were inserted.
The time seemed too early; not only had the little wizards not woken up, but the ghosts didn't seem to have started their activities yet.
Sean transformed a soft cushion at the corner where Lady Grey often came and sat there reading for a while.
After a long time, Lady Grey did not float over either.
Just then, a huge red exclamation mark appeared on the plan map.
So Sean packed up his books and prepared to head to the Forbidden Forest.
The weather was very cold, and the little wizards were all wearing gloves.
Sean passed the fourth-floor corridor and discovered with slight surprise that the black cat statue had been draped with a scarf, and beside it were some little wizards praying with full faces of happiness.
He had originally intended to pass by quickly, but suddenly stopped his steps.
He watched the little wizards sharing desserts beside the black cat statue, talking about interesting news, and holding steaming grapefruit juice together to dispel the cold.
The Castle Spirit Cat Club didn't seem to be just a simple club anymore; it linked the lives of the little wizards, and this feeling was just like those thread balls.
Sean suddenly understood something and had some changes.
He decided that next time, perhaps he could look at the dreams of the club members.
For example, Minister Hannah, how did she come up with this club?
The snow outside the castle was soft, the forest was white, and the trees seemed to have been sprinkled with a layer of cotton wool.
The snow swirled slowly in the air, finally landing on Sean's slightly flushed face, and melted.
"Sean—"
Hagrid was greeting him from afar; behind him, the chimney of Hagrid's hut was rising with cooking smoke.
"Good morning, Hagrid."
Sean also raised his hand.
"Oh—I have to tell you some good news! Come in—"
Hagrid's arm curled back, and Sean was swept into the house.
"Dumbledore agreed—drink a cup of stewed pear and dragon milk, Finnigan from Hufflepuff taught me—he agreed, I knew it would be like this, next semester, you will be the teaching assistant for Care of Magical Creatures."
Hagrid said while handing Sean a hot drink that looked very sweet.
Becoming a teaching assistant was also a novel thing for Sean.
He nodded, his cheeks becoming ruddier after entering the house.
"Yes, yes, I heard, yes, Mr. Scamander said... I have contact with him... you have a special magical creature..."
Hagrid seemed embarrassed, somewhat awkward.
"Cat-Leopard?"
Sean seemed to be asking, but he had already confirmed it.
"Merlin! It really is a Cat-Leopard!"
Hagrid exclaimed.
"Sorry, Hagrid, I have to ask Ifa."
Sean thought for a second.
"You can communicate with it?!"
Hagrid suddenly slapped the table.
"Oh, sorry..."
Hagrid sheepishly withdrew his hand,
"I have to leave Hogwarts recently to go to the Ministry of Magic; they say they are considering dropping the charges, oh, this is all your credit!"
A genuine smile appeared on Sean's cheeks.
He knew about this; Rita said the professors at Hogwarts had put in a lot of effort.
Of course, Headmaster Dumbledore might be the most critical one.
"So, you might have to help me manage the Forbidden Forest. But you have to be careful. Norbert might have come back; I saw many... spider corpses before."
Hagrid stammered, then thought about it and felt that this matter seemed too dangerous again.
For a little wizard.
"I will help, hmm... can I have someone help?"
Sean agreed.
Just right, Ifa hadn't come out for activities for a long time.
