Chapter 822: Sirius Black

~5 min read 947 words

"Happy birthday, Harry."

Sean placed his wand into the Book of Wizards.

The Vernon family swore they had never seen such a magical book; it actually reached out a slender hand.

This slender hand snapped its fingers, and a beautifully packaged colorful gift box appeared out of thin air.

Harry held the box, biting his lip without speaking.

But the Petunia family was already about to go crazy.

"You have to change her back, fix her!"

Vernon didn't dare to speak to Sean, so he could only roar at Harry.

"You promised me you'd make her speak more politely!"

Harry fought back without showing weakness.

Vernon was so angry his body was trembling, but he actually didn't refute.

"Today is your birthday, right, kid, don't even think about celebrating your birthday!

And that damn Hogsmeade, don't even think about going!

None of us will sign that damn note!"

Vernon jumped.

Harry stared at his plate, his ears buzzing.

But what was he to do? He couldn't remember. Uncle Vernon's voice was like an electric drill, drilling straight into his head.

At this moment, a figure stood in front of Harry.

"Harry, do you want to leave here?"

The young wizard said.

"I..."

Harry didn't know.

"It doesn't matter, you have plenty of time to make a decision."

Sean wasn't in a hurry; his voice seemed to drift over,

"In the many languages of humanity, besides crying and asking for help, there should also be an 'I don't know.'

If you feel overwhelmed, just follow me."

At this moment, Uncle Vernon was grabbing one of Maggie's feet, trying to pull her down, but he himself was almost dragged off the ground. Then, the big dog Li Pi rushed forward and bit Uncle Vernon's leg.

"I... will follow you."

Harry finally made up his mind.

He didn't want to know how much Aunt Petunia or Uncle Vernon had changed, nor did he want to know if he was doing the right thing.

He didn't want to recall any of Aunt Maggie's words either.

He wanted to leave here.

Follow Sean.

No one had time to stop him; Harry quickly left the dining room and ran toward the cupboard under the stairs.

Just as he arrived there, the door to the cupboard magically opened automatically.

He looked back, and Sean was smiling at him.

So, he successfully moved his box to the front door in a few seconds, then quickly ran upstairs, dove under the bed, pried open the loose floorboard, and pulled out the pillowcase filled with textbooks and birthday gifts.

He crawled out from under the bed, grabbed Hedwig's empty cage, rushed down the stairs with a thump, thump, thump, and ran toward the box.

Just then, Uncle Vernon rushed out of the dining room, one pant leg torn to shreds and covered in blood.

"Come back! Fix her!"

He roared.

However, Harry was so angry he couldn't care about anything else; he kicked the lid of the box open.

"She deserved it,"

Harry said, panting rapidly,

"She brought this on herself. Get out of my way."

Now he had to take the books he had put in the compartment.

The television in the living room was still on, and the host was speaking inside:

"... remind the public, Black is armed and extremely dangerous.

A special hotline has been opened; anyone who sees Black should report it immediately."

Vernon heard this, glared fiercely at the television, and roared,

"When will they learn that the only way to deal with these people is to hang them!"

After he finished speaking, he didn't even dare to look at the door.

Even though the door had already been blown shut by the wind.

Night seemed to have descended suddenly.

Sean felt a strange stinging sensation on his neck, as if someone were tailing him, even though looking around, the street was empty, and those square houses didn't show a glimmer of light.

Rather than hearing it, he felt that someone or something was right behind him in the narrow alley between the garage and the fence.

Sean stared naturally at the pitch-black alley.

He didn't need that thing to move to know what it was.

He raised his finger, and a wisp of light floated at his fingertip.

This was silent casting and wandless casting of Lumos.

So the garage door on the cobblestone exterior wall of No. 2 Privet Drive suddenly reflected the light.

Between the wall and the garage, Sean clearly saw a big, pitch-black thing with a pair of bright, thief-like eyes.

He walked toward that place; the big thing seemed to have intended to run, but in the end, for some reason, it didn't.

Sean saw clearly; in front of him was a skinny, large black dog with dirty, messy hair, only its eyes appearing bright and spirited.

Watching Sean walk over, the black dog even let out a roar.

"I don't speak dog, this is trouble."

Sean was talking to himself,

"Then could I trouble you, Mr. Sirius Black, to turn into a wizard and talk to me."

The black dog seemed to be provoked and was about to pounce on Sean.

But its behavior was ultimately stopped by a goblin dressed in a butler's uniform.

"You'd better stay away from my master! You rude fellow!"

Butler Pocky pinned the black dog to the wall, his bow and arrow already pulled tight.

The black dog stared fixedly at the young wizard, at his green eyes.

"Do as my master says, don't make me use Revelio."

Said the short thing that looked like a goblin but wasn't exactly the same.

Sirius finally transformed. ===== CHAPTER 823 =====
