Chapter 89

~4 min read 611 words

Soon, the confrontational group dispersed after making an appointment.

Harry and Luo En were still talking in low voices as they passed by:

"What's a wizard's duel?"

Harry asked,

"You said you'd be my second, what does that mean?"

"Oh, if you die, the second takes over."

Luo En said nonchalantly, then reacted when he noticed Harry's pale face,

"But you know, people only die when they have a formal duel with a real wizard.

You and Malfoy can at most shoot sparks at each other."

"What if I wave my wand and nothing happens?"

"Then throw away the wand and punch him in the nose."

Luo En's voice was firm and powerful.

"My god!"

Hermione's face was flushed with anger,

"Do they have no idea how many points they'll lose?!

I worked so hard to earn so many points, clearly... none of them compare to Ravenclaw, and they're still going to lose points!"

After speaking, she rushed over aggressively, and Jia Siting, worried about her, followed immediately:

"Oh, Sean, we'll be right back... don't worry, with me here, Hermione won't be bullied."

Sean nodded.

Actually, he was more concerned about the Yorkshire pudding in front of him for the moment.

Jia Siting could handle the argument between Luo En and the others; he was a full head taller than Luo En and the others,

so Luo En would have to think twice before saying those hurtful things.

At the same time, Sean knew that because of this midnight duel, Harry would come into contact with the three-headed dog for the first time,

and his adventures for this school year would officially begin.

But this had nothing to do with Sean; if there was any relation,

it was that after Harry drove Voldemort away, the safety level of Hogwarts would be much higher.

At least for this school year, Sean could focus on grinding proficiency.

As the last day before the flying lesson arrived,

the Ravenclaws' enthusiasm was about to fly into the sky.

After Sean politely said goodbye to Madam Pince, he could still hear loud discussions about Quidditch in the corridor.

Before Madam Pince left, she was still looking through his notes with great interest.

This lady, whom the young wizards both respected and feared, was not always irritable,

or rather, it was the young wizards' behavior that made her irritable.

Anyone would be angry to see the books they worked hard to organize made a mess, or their clean desks scribbled on.

So Sean would silently do a few things.

Casting a few Scourgify spells was simple and wouldn't take much time.

Sean's History of Magic notes were already half complete, and the knowledgeable Madam Pince had given him many useful suggestions.

When Sean was confused, this kind lady would always inadvertently hand him some books, which saved Sean who knows how much time.

Closing the heavy oak door of the library once again.

The cool evening breeze made Sean's hair dance in the wind. Sir Cadogan had squeezed out the black-robed wizard in the portrait above his head at some point:

"Oh—Sean Green (seeing green)!"

Sean ignored him.

"Tomorrow, yes, tomorrow you're going to have your flying lesson, and yet today you don't want to seek some advice from Scotland's greatest Chaser?"

Sean kept his head down and hurried on his way, while Sir Cadogan darted through several portraits.

He stepped across the golden wheat fields of a beautiful lady in a straw hat one moment, and narrowly avoided several monks the next.

"Sir, you are a figure from the time of King Arthur, and the first Quidditch World Cup was held in 1473..."

Sean said helplessly.
