Chapter 201: School Bullying

~7 min read 1,345 words

The group arrived at Platform 9¾ together, preparing to board the train; this year's fog was thicker than in previous years.

After arriving at the platform, John looked around left and right.

Finally, he discovered a familiar figure not far away.

John walked quickly to Hermione's side and said to her in a low voice.

"Hermione, I'm going to find my friends."

Hermione, who was chatting with Ginny, was slightly startled when she heard John's words, then nodded.

"Yeah, go ahead, see you at school."

Although John's friends and their group all knew each other to some extent, they were still two different circles, so there was no need to force them together.

"Alright, then I'll go first."

John nodded, then looked toward the front of the line, finding that Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, who had come to send the children off as parents, were not looking this way.

So he neatly stole a kiss on Hermione's cheek.

It scared Hermione so much that her ear tips instantly turned red, and she took a step back, covering the cheek that had been kissed by John, looking shy and angry.

Ginny on the side widened her eyes, and the fire of gossip in her eyes burned fiercely.

Harry and Ron behind were even more shocked, but didn't dare to speak.

After stealing the kiss, John waved goodbye to Hermione with a grin, conveniently greeted Mr. and Mrs. Weasley loudly, then turned and squeezed into the crowd and disappeared.

"Stinky John... in front of so many people..."

Seeing John run away alone, Hermione stomped her feet in shyness, swearing that she would make John look good when they returned to school.

"Ryan, remember what Mom said, Mom won't harm you."

"I know what I'm doing is wrong, but it's all for your own good."

By a carriage at the end of the train, Mrs. Grey was instructing Ryan.

Ryan nodded silently, but his expression didn't look happy.

This summer vacation, he hadn't contacted his friends much at all.

Because every letter sent to him was intercepted by his mother.

Mr. Grey stood to the side, sighed, patted his wife on the shoulder, signaling her not to say any more.

Ryan stared at his shoe tips, not speaking.

"Hmm? That is..."

At this time, Mr. Grey looked in one direction and muttered in a low voice.

Ryan subconsciously looked in the direction of his father's gaze.

Only to see not far away, three familiar figures standing in a row in a thunderous stance looking at him.

John, Titus, Ethan.

All three of their faces hung with a lewd smile that only good brothers understood.

Although they were just standing there, saying nothing.

Even if they had been cold-shouldered and alienated by him this summer vacation.

But for some reason, seeing their thunderous stance and smiling faces, Ryan just couldn't hold back the smile at the corner of his mouth.

And John and the others, seeing Ryan's suppressed smile, also immediately understood that Ryan was fine and was still their good brother.

So, the three of them raised their hands in unison, slickly smoothed their "big pompadours," and then turned and left in a very uniform manner.

This scene was also seen by quite a few people on the platform.

But except for looking at them like idiots, no one cared.

Even for John, who was popular, except for classmates, not many people discovered that among those three idiots, one was him.

After all, the him in the newspaper had a cold expression, always with a cold face that kept people at a distance and looked down on everyone.

It was not the same thing as this idiot at all.

But Ryan understood their meaning.

They didn't know his current situation, so they came to take a look, and after finding he was fine, they withdrew tacitly.

After all, his mother was still cold-faced, and they didn't know his situation, so they didn't force their way over to cause trouble, but left it to find him to settle the score when they returned to school.

Ryan felt relieved, but at the same time felt a bit powerless, not knowing how to explain it to them.

Should he tell them that his mother demanded he break off relations with them?

And he didn't know how to fulfill the agreement with his mother.

"What do you say?"

"Hmm, it should be about the same as analyzed before..."

After leaving Ryan's sight, the three of John squatted by a wall where no one was and chatted.

What they were chatting about was naturally Ryan's matter.

"Although Ryan's family isn't some big family, they are at least a pure-blood family with a name."

"I asked my dad to use his connections to check old files from over a decade ago; Ryan's uncle was once killed by Death Eaters."

"Now that the Death Eaters are popping up again, his mother probably wants Ryan to draw a line with us, fearing that Ryan will follow in his footsteps."

Titus analyzed for the two of them with a solemn face.

"Then what should we do?" Ethan asked.

"I don't know." Titus scratched his head and said righteously.

In the end, the two still looked at John.

John rubbed his chin, frowned for a long time, and tentatively said a sentence.

"Then how about we 'bully' him?"

The two:?

It seems, it's not impossible...

Ryan not far away suddenly felt a chill, a feeling of being stared at by something dirty...

Finally waiting to board the train, Ryan came to an empty compartment alone, and the door just closed.

A large hand pulled the door open violently.

Only to see John and the three of them squeezing in crookedly, their ties and clothes buttons all crooked to one side, loose and sloppy like street thugs.

"So you're the one called Ryan."

"Acting high and mighty and ignoring us, huh."

"Take this!"

Only to see Titus hand a bunch of Cockroach Dumplings in front of Ryan, and continued to say viciously.

"If you don't finish eating today, you'll have to pay for it!"

As everyone knows, Cockroach Dumplings are a very exotic and heavy-tasting snack, and the target audience is just that small group.

So using it to throw in front of someone and forcing them to eat it was once a bullying method.

But...

Ryan: Wow, a full-course meal!

This full bag, if I don't finish it, I really have to pay for it!

What are the three of them doing?

Not coming to me to settle the score is one thing, but why are they rewarding me?

And Titus saw Ryan dazed, so he simply grabbed a handful of Cockroach Dumplings and stuffed them into Ryan's mouth.

While shouting in his mouth: "Eat it!"

Ryan was startled and was subjected to a rough feeding by Titus.

John on the side watched this scene with his face wrinkled into a ball.

If he didn't know Ryan's taste, he wouldn't be able to watch this kind of terrifying "bullying."

To think Titus could come up with such a bad idea.

Thinking this, he still greeted Ethan to stuff Cockroach Dumplings into Ryan's mouth together, and Ethan didn't forget to help Ryan smooth his saliva, fearing he would choke and couldn't continue stuffing.

The Muggle-born freshmen who had just entered school didn't know Cockroach Dumplings at all, and when they passed by and saw this scene, they were so scared their faces turned white.

"What a terrible senior, they are actually forcing a classmate to eat cockroaches..."

"Is bullying in the wizarding world so terrifying..."

"Stop talking, let's go, be careful of being caught by them later."

"No wonder the school professors have to come to recruit students in person; it turns out the school atmosphere is so bad..."

"I don't want to go to Hogwarts anymore..."

The freshmen who were full of longing hadn't even stepped into the school gate when they were staggered by reality, and their fantasies about the wizarding world shattered. ===== CHAPTER 202 =====
