Chapter 246: Worried

In June 1998, outside Studio No. 1 of the Beijing Film Studio, the crowd was bustling.

"Line up! One by one!" the field manager shouted with a megaphone.

The queue included almost half of the Chinese film and television circle at the time.

Li Xuejian smoked a cigarette, squinting at the script: "This alien role is really very interesting."

Jiang Wen sat carelessly in a chair, crossing his legs: "President Xiang, you're playing big now."

Gong Li, dressed neatly, was talking in a low voice with Zhang Yimou: "Yimou, do you think I can play this female scientist?"

Zhang Yimou pushed his glasses: "Whatever you play, you look like it; you definitely can."

Suddenly, the crowd stirred.

"Look! Cheng Long is here!"

Cheng Long wore sunglasses and walked over surrounded by the Cheng Family Class, cupping his hands to the crowd: "Everyone, sorry, the number one male lead is already decided; I'm just here to help."

Ge You touched his bald head and laughed: "Brother Long, you're not being fair, taking all the lead roles."

Chen Daoming stood to the side, flipping through the script steadily: "This villain role is quite challenging."

Xiang Fei walked out of the studio: "Everyone, get ready?"

Liu Xiaoqing laughed: "A 3 billion big production, who doesn't want a piece of the pie?"

At the same time, at the audition site at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, it was a completely different scene.

"Next, Leonardo DiCaprio!"

Little Leo walked in, blonde and blue-eyed, handsome and compelling. He looked around and his eyes lit up: "Hey, Judy! Aiven didn't come?"

Casting director Judy Crane laughed: "Leo, you know Aiven?"

"Of course!" Leonardo said excitedly, "Two years ago, I participated in his *Detective Chinatown*, and last year I even drank with him at the Oscars party."

Judy nodded: "That's perfect; Director Xiang specifically instructed that this human officer role be left for you to try."

Leonardo showed his iconic sunny smile: "Awesome! I knew Aiven was a good guy!"

Outside the door, Tom Cruise was chatting with Brad Pitt: "Heard Cheng Long is already set as the male lead?"

Pitt shrugged: "At least we can still compete for other roles."

Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock sat together, the former elegantly flipping through the script: "This female scientist role has a lot of depth."

Suddenly, a commotion; Angelina Jolie walked in wearing leather, attracting everyone's attention.

"I'm here to audition for a Na'vi," she said straight to the point, "This role belongs to me."

Xiang Sheng sat in the office, looking at the long audition list and shaking his head: "The stars of Hong Kong are almost wearing out the threshold."

Chow Yun-fat pushed the door open, wearing a trench coat and sunglasses, full of style: "Brother Sheng, arrange a role for me?"

Andy Lau and Tony Leung followed closely behind; Andy laughed: "Brother Fat is here, how can we fall behind?"

Maggie Cheung and Joey Wong walked in hand-in-hand; Maggie said gently: "We want to try for the Na'vi roles."

And our classmate Zhou Xingchi was working overtime at Shaw Brothers filming trashy movies.

In the Taiwan Central Motion Picture Corporation culture city, the atmosphere was equally enthusiastic.

Brigitte Lin, in white, looked like a fairy: "I want to challenge myself and play a villain."

Takeshi Kaneshiro leaned against the wall, so handsome it was hard to look away: "I'm suitable for that mixed-race officer role."

Chin Han and Chin Hsiang-lin, that old partner pair, also came; Chin Han laughed: "We two can play a scientist father and son."

Hu Huizhong and Yang Huishan stood together; the former said boldly: "Leave the action scenes to us; absolutely no problem!"

The auditions in Korea were equally hot.

Choi Ji-woo and Galaxy, these two popular actresses, were communicating: "Heard this is the new work of Asia's number one director."

Jang Dong-gun and Han Suk-kyu stood together; the former said coolly: "This is a good opportunity to go global."

Suddenly, the door was pushed open, and the newly debuted Jun Ji-hyun rushed in: "Sorry I'm late! I want to audition for that female pilot role!"

At the audition site of Toho in Tokyo, the order was orderly.

Ken Takakura sat steadily to the side, his aura powerful: "I'm interested in this old general role."

Sayuri Yoshinaga smiled elegantly: "I want to try the alien priestess role."

Takuya Kimura and Takashi Sorimachi, two popular young actors, stood together; Kimura laughed: "Should we compete for the same role?"

Miho Nakayama and Nanako Matsushima were studying the script; Miho said softly: "This love subplot is very touching." ===== CHAPTER 247 =====
