Chapter 57: Borrowing Flowers to Present to the Buddha
After giving his instructions, Chen Jiajun wandered aimlessly around the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui, circling the area.
Once Ya Qi had made the arrangements on his end, Chen Jiajun got into his car and drove slowly toward Chaguoling.
Upon arriving at the destination, Chen Jiajun got out of the car, put on his sunglasses, lit a cigar, and gazed out at the sea.
Li Zhentang signaled to his subordinates, and several gunmen immediately stepped out holding handguns.
"Don't move!"
"Freeze!"
Just at this moment, Ya Qi led his men out to ambush them, with an average of two handguns pointed at the head of every Majai.
Chen Jiajun looked at Li Zhentang inside the car with a beaming smile and said, "Uncle Tang, do you look down on me? You thought you could handle me with just this many people?"
Li Zhentang's expression changed drastically; he had not expected that Chen Jiajun had already set an ambush.
"Bang!"
The window was shattered, and Ya Qi dragged Li Zhentang out as if he were dragging a dead dog.
Li Zhentang hurriedly begged for mercy: "Liangzai Jun, Liangzai Jun! It's a misunderstanding, just a misunderstanding!"
"A misunderstanding?"
"Let me guess, who wants to deal with me?"
"I have no grudges against Zhongxinyi, let me guess, is it Chen Yaozu?"
A warm smile hung on Chen Jiajun's face.
Li Zhentang's expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly explained: "Chen Shao just wanted us to invite you back, he didn't mean for us to finish you off."
Chen Jiajun's smile faded, and he said coldly and ruthlessly: "At your age, with no sense of your own standing, you still want to stick your neck out for others?"
"I am also just working for Chen Yaozu. Look, you haven't suffered any real loss. How about this: tomorrow I will book a restaurant and host a peace banquet to apologize to you!"
Li Zhentang hurriedly knelt to beg for mercy; after all, Liangzai Jun's reputation preceded him, and he was notoriously ruthless.
None of those who had offended him had ended well; Heishui Qiang, Dapu Hei, Wang Bao, and Dalao B—these four people were already enough to make up a mahjong table.
"Tie him up!"
Chen Jiajun couldn't be bothered with small talk.
The young demon slaves immediately moved in and bound Li Zhentang and his gunmen tightly.
Chen Jiajun pondered for a moment and ordered: "Ya Qi, have Dumu and Lao E gather the men. I'll lead the team tonight, and we'll sweep Li Zhentang's businesses in Kowloon. Also, keep an eye on Chen Yaozu during this time; I'll have you make your move when the time comes."
That same night.
Chen Jiajun led his brothers in various luxury cars and vans, arriving at Li Zhentang's territory in Kowloon.
They got out of the car.
Chen Jiajun, puffing on a cigar and sporting a slicked-back hairstyle, roared at the group of subordinates before him, who looked like they would do anything except good deeds: "Brothers, your Big Brother has been bullied today, what should we do?"
"Take him down!"
The valet for Li Zhentang's bar saw that the visitors were trouble and immediately shouted: "This is the territory of Uncle Tang of Zhongxinyi!"
"Bang!"
Lao E swung his blade down and shouted angrily: "Today we are hacking up you Zhongxinyi people!"
After saying this, he led his brothers into the venue. Lao E kicked over the sound system, and dozens of Zhongxinyi lookouts rushed out.
Without a word, Lao E slashed at the hand of one of the lookouts, cleanly severing his palm.
The customers drinking and the women there screamed in a panic, scattering like birds and beasts.
A dim underground gambling den.
Dozens of gamblers were engrossed in a game of Cantonese Five-Card Stud when suddenly, a burly lookout was thrown directly onto the gambling table.
Dumu led his brothers to hack anyone they saw and grab any money they found, and in the blink of an eye, they had cut down all the gambling den's subordinates.
"Hung Hing's Dumu is working here, anyone who wants to die, come on up!"
Standing at two meters and twenty centimeters tall, Dumu stood with his blade held horizontally, a posture of arrogance.
In just about an hour, all of Li Zhentang's businesses had been swept. The brothers acted very quickly and got back into their cars once the job was done.
Before crossing the harbor, Chen Jiajun made a call to Xing Shu: "Xing Shu, it's me, A Jun!"
"A Jun, what's going on! I heard you led your troops and swept Li Zhentang's businesses?"
"Li Zhentang is in my hands now. Today he brought several gunmen to kidnap me, so of course I couldn't tolerate it. Since the territory has already been taken, Xing Shu, you can send people over to take it over."
Kowloon was too far from Hong Kong Island, and Chen Jiajun did not have enough men under his command at the moment to hold the territory here.
It was better to just borrow flowers to present to the Buddha and give it to Xing Shu.
As for Xing Shu, he had no choice; after all, when people were bullied to this extent, how could he not do something?
"Fine, you took the territory. My people will take over the operations, and I'll give you half every month."
This matter caused Lian Haolong, Lian Haodong, and the others endless headaches.
They were in the wrong first in this matter, so there was nothing to say, but Li Zhentang was still in the other party's hands.
"In my opinion, we should let Si Shu step in personally. Liangzai Jun will definitely give him face."
Liang Yuelian shook her head; Chen Yaozu was truly too good at causing trouble. Over the past few years, Zhongxinyi didn't know how many times they had cleaned up his messes.
Now it was done; he had kicked an iron plate.
"Brother Long, why don't we gather the men tonight and take his territory directly! If we don't fly our flag, other societies will look down on us!" The loyal subordinate Luo Tianhong revealed a murderous look, his fighting spirit soaring.
"We definitely have to fight, but the timing isn't right yet! Don't forget the things I entrusted to you tonight."
"Adong, I'll call Si Shu; he must know about this. You call Ji Ge of Hung Hing and ask him to be the mediator, invite Liangzai Jun out to negotiate, and make sure to bring Uncle Tang back."
As the Dragon Head of Zhongxinyi, Lian Haolong knew how to distinguish between what was primary and what was secondary.
Tang Shu is of his uncle's generation and is also an Elder of Zhongxinyi; he must be brought back.
"I understand."
Lian Haodong nodded immediately.
The following evening.
Central, Luyu Tea House.
A row of luxury cars was parked downstairs, and Chen Jiajun entered the tea house with his young demon slaves.
Several inconspicuous sedans were parked across from the tea house, where Senior Inspector Liao Zhizong of the Anti-Triad Unit was keeping watch with several plainclothes officers; he was the one primarily responsible for the Zhongxinyi case.
Li Zhentang kidnapped Chen Jiajun, but ended up being detained himself, and his own venues were raided; it had already become common knowledge.
"This Liangzai Jun is really too good at stirring up trouble," a Police Constable cursed under his breath inside the car.
Liao Zhizong shook his head and said, "These underworld people have had someone bully them to their faces, how could they not take action?"
No sooner had he finished speaking.
A Bentley, a Porsche sports car, and several Mercedes-Benz and MPVs pulled up in front of the tea house.
Lian Haolong, Lian Haodong, Chen Liyu, and the Hung Hing Western District Zha FIT Ren Ji Ge entered the restaurant, chatting and laughing.
Both sides took their seats in a high-end private room in the tea house.
"A Jun, why were you so angry yesterday?" After sitting down, Lian Haolong smiled and tossed a Cigar to Chen Jiajun.
After Chen Jiajun caught it, he said, "Brother Long, I had no choice. If this had happened to you, you wouldn't be able to swallow this insult either, right?"
"A Jun, next time something like this happens, just give me a call. Tang Shu is old and muddled, why bother arguing with him?" Lian Haodong placed a cigarette case on the table and lit one for himself.
"What would everyone like to eat?"
Ji Ge sat in the middle, holding a menu in his hand.
"A Ji, you handle it. The main point of coming tonight is to settle the accounts." Lian Haolong smiled; there was absolutely no tension or hostility between the two sides.
Ji Ge rattled off a dozen or so dishes and handed the menu to the waiter.
After the waiter left, Ji Ge said, "A Jun, I'm acting as a peacemaker today; give me, A Ji, some face."
"Our Hung Hing and Zhongxinyi have never had any friction."
"I hope we can settle this matter clearly and fairly, and after we finish talking, everything will be as harmonious as before."
