Chapter 126: The Ni Family's Demise

A gunfight was about to break out.

The Ni Family members were all desperadoes, but the police weren't useless either.

Gunfire rang through the entire residential building. Residents inside woke from their sleep in panic, one by one locking their doors and windows, trembling at home.

Lu Qichang led his men to hold the main entrance, with police reinforcements constantly arriving behind him. Ni Laosan and his group had no decent cover in the stairwell, and within just a few minutes, they were all shot and fell to the ground.

The gunfight ended, and Lu Qichang quickly rushed to Ni Laosan's side, opening the suitcase.

Huang Zhi Cheng inside the suitcase was already dead as dead could be.

He had been tortured into severe injuries, and during the gunfight just now, no one except Lu Qichang guessed he might be in the suitcase, so they fired without any restraint.

Huang Zhi Cheng was directly killed by stray bullets inside the suitcase.

At the same time, Huang Bingyao personally led a team and rushed to Longgu Beach.

On Longgu Beach, corpses were everywhere.

Huang Bingyao led his men on a search and found the bodies of Ni Yongxiao and Han Chen one after another.

"Sir Huang, there are no survivors at the scene. It looks like a gangland fight, a turf war. However, no drugs or cash were found at the scene. Based on the traces, there should be a third-party force involved."

Ferguson said quietly beside Huang Bingyao.

Huang Bingyao's expression changed, and he said sternly, "Sir Ferguson, where is there a gangland fight here? Where is there a third-party force?

It's clearly our elite police team, working with the Flying Tigers, who shot and killed all the Ni Family drug traffickers who were trading with Southeast Asian drug dealers.

Do you understand?"

Huang Bingyao had been a police officer for over thirty years, handling countless cases big and small. There was no crime scene he hadn't seen.

Anyone with a bit of experience at this scene could roughly guess what had happened.

Not long after arriving, he realized that this was most likely Chen Mo's doing.

But he couldn't just report it that way; otherwise, leading a large group of police officers in the middle of the night just to take a stroll around a shooting scene would count as a demerit, not a merit.

Ferguson immediately understood the implication in Huang Bingyao's words, his face lighting up: "Understood, sir!"

According to Huang Bingyao's version, everyone involved tonight would get a major credit. While promotions weren't guaranteed, bonuses were definitely not lacking.

However, he quickly calmed down, thought of a flaw, and asked quietly, "Sir Huang, we didn't find any drugs or drug money at the scene!"

Huang Bingyao gave Ferguson a deep look: "Sir Ferguson, you will now immediately notify the Wang Jiao and You Ma Di police stations. All police officers are to mobilize, cooperate with the Jianshazui police station, arrest the remaining Ni Family members, interrogate them through the night, and find their drug warehouses."

Ferguson straightened his body and saluted: "YES, SIR!"

Ferguson, also a veteran police officer of many years, immediately understood Huang Bingyao's plan.

The Ni Family's leader was dead, and two of the leaders of the Five Great Families had been killed.

Now was the best chance to uproot the Ni Family.

The police station had files on all the major and minor leaders under the Ni Family and could arrest them at any time.

They hadn't arrested them before because there was no evidence, and considering the Ni Family's influence, they couldn't use harsh methods; arresting them would have been useless.

Now, arresting them didn't require worrying about the Ni Family. They could directly interrogate them through the night, apply the 'memory recovery technique,' and definitely find the Ni Family's drug warehouses.

By then, where the drugs and drug money came from would be whatever they said it was!

That night, all of Jianshazui was in an uproar.

Countless police cars shuttled back and forth across Jianshazui, and Ni Family underlings were constantly being arrested and taken to the police station.

Police also went to the Ni Family villa, but all they saw were the bodies of bodyguards and a scene of chaos.

Ni Yongxiao's mother and wife had both disappeared.

Han Chen and Gan Di's territories were also visited by the police.

At Han Chen's home, Luo Ji had brought several Ni Family gunmen to kill Mary, but Han Chen's loyal underling Sha Qiang had brought many people to protect Han Chen's house.

After failing to break through by force, Luo Ji could only leave behind a few corpses and take the remaining Ni Family gunmen away.

While Sha Qiang was having his men dispose of the bodies, the police arrived.

After some resistance, Sha Qiang and many of Han Chen's underlings were all arrested, and Mary was also taken by the police for questioning.

On Gan Di's territory, many of Guohua and Hei Gui's underlings had just taken over Gan Di's venues when they ran into the police making arrests. Whether they were Gan Di's original men or Guohua and Hei Gui's men, anyone who looked like a leader was arrested by the police.

The detention rooms at the police station were overflowing.

This time, the four police stations of the entire Youjianwang District mobilized together, interrogating through the night, using every means available without any restraint.

Don't be fooled by how arrogant these gangsters usually are, always talking about brotherhood and loyalty. When the police actually used their methods, they confessed faster than anyone.

Twelve volumes of confessions, all filled with brothers' names.

Before dawn, the addresses of every drug warehouse were given up, and even leads on some old, unsolved cases were dug out.

The police station mobilized again, making more arrests and raiding drug warehouses.

By the time dawn broke, Jianshazui had changed hands.

The Ni Family, who had ruled Jianshazui with an iron fist, was uprooted. Guohua, Hei Gui, and Wen Cheng didn't escape either; they were all arrested.

Even the Ni Family's eldest son, who was a doctor, the second sister, who was already married, and the youngest son, who had always been idle, were all taken to the police station for questioning.

At ten in the morning, a grand press conference was held at the entrance of the Xijiulong Police Headquarters.

Huang Bingyao, as the commander of this operation, stood solemnly on the stage, giving a report to multiple media outlets.

"Last night, we received intelligence from an undercover agent that the Ni Family drug trafficking syndicate was conducting a transaction with foreign drug dealers at Longgu Beach.

Under my personal leadership, all police officers of Xijiulong bravely attacked. With the cooperation of the Flying Tigers, we killed a total of ninety-five criminals, seized drugs worth twenty million and over ten million in drug money, more than thirty AKs, over fifty pistols..."

Besides Huang Bingyao, several high-ranking officials from the Police Department also attended, elevating the scale of this press conference by several levels.

This press conference was broadcast on television at noon that same day.

After seeing the news, Chen Mo couldn't help but curl his lip. This Huang Bingyao was a real old fox.

If he had known Huang Bingyao would pull this trick, he wouldn't have had his men move the Siamese corpses onto the boat.

Chen Mo took out his phone and called Li Li.

Li Li, you usually go down; at 2 p. m. have them come to my office for a meeting.

Alright, Mo Ge!

The Ni Family is already gone; it's time to reap the harvest.

Chen Mo doesn't want his own labor's fruits to be completely eaten by others.

Jianshazui is even more bustling than Wang Jiao, and every Triad Society on Gangdao is eye‑catching.

When the Ni Family falls, the other societies will surely pounce like sharks that have seen blood.

Chen Mo isn't planning to take over all the territories, but he definitely wants a share.
