Chapter 413

Xiao Fu and Ah Xing beside them: "............"

Ugh!

Such a foul, sour smell!

"Weiye, how is your work now? Are you used to standing guard at the hospital?"

Guan Zu asked Wang Weiye while eating claypot rice.

Wang Weiye has always been sitting straight, picking up rice with chopsticks in a scholarly manner, and answering seriously:

"Back to Mr. Guan, it's okay."

"What about among colleagues?" Guan Zu asked.

Wang Weiye remembered the two police officers before, frowned slightly, but still said: "It's okay, most colleagues are pretty good."

Wang Weiye has a wooden personality, and he definitely wouldn't say it easily if something happened.

Guan Zu didn't ask much, but changed the subject: "Weiye, I actually have something I want to ask you today..."

Wang Weiye respectfully: "Mr. Guan, please speak."

Guan Zu: "It's like this, my Five Star Group now has a Central Plaza project, and I plan to cooperate with another group. I intend to establish an internal inspection department and would like to invite you to come and help me be an internal inspection commissioner, mainly responsible for investigating potential corruption and corner-cutting problems in this project."

Wang Weiye was slightly stunned, he didn't expect Guan Zu to suddenly make such an invitation. He subconsciously said: "Mr. Guan, I... I am a policeman, I am used to working in the police force."

Guan Zu looked at Wang Weiye and said seriously: "I know you are a good policeman, your ideal is to help people who need help and punish crimes. In fact, being an internal inspection commissioner for me here is the same, and can even play a greater role. This Central Plaza project is very important, and it also relates to the investment problems of more than 1 million citizens... If there is corruption, corner-cutting, etc. internally, it will harm the interests of many people, and I need someone as righteous and serious as you to help me hold the bottom line."

Wang Weiye fell into deep thought, he understood that what Guan Zu said made sense, and he was also very grateful for Guan Zu's trust and recognition of himself.

However, leaving the police force to work in a company was a big change for him.

Guan Zu didn't urge him and continued to eat.

After 2 minutes, Wang Weiye finally raised his head and said with a firm look: "Mr. Guan, I... I am willing to try."

To be honest, he didn't have a happy time at the police station either.

The leaders didn't like him, and his colleagues didn't like him.

And if he changed to a new environment, with Mr. Guan's care, perhaps it was a good choice.

"Good!"

A gratified smile appeared on Guan Zu's face: "Don't worry, I will give you enough support to let you do this job well."

Wang Weiye was very grateful in his heart, but being wooden by nature, he finally just squeezed out a sentence: "Mr. Guan, thank you for trusting me so much... I won't let you down."

Guan Zu smiled and nodded: "Good, eat first, after eating, go back to the company, and we will talk about the specific work arrangements in detail."

"Also, you need to go to the police station to handle the resignation procedures..."

"Yes, Mr. Guan!"

"Call me Boss from now on!"

"Yes, Boss!"

So far, Wang Weiye has been brought under his command.

His role will be very large, first let him watch the Central Plaza project, and after the Central Plaza ends in a year, transfer him back to the Five Star Group to establish an "Inspection Department".

Every enterprise, after a long time, will have big enterprise disease, such as some Dong, some Xun, some Li, there will always be all kinds of strange self-digging grave behaviors.

And anti-corruption and inspection departments will be very important at this time.

However, later on, it will always involve human relationships, and eventually the inspection department will gradually degenerate.

And people like Wang Weiye who "insist on the truth" and "are serious" will be very important.

A new day,

ATV.

Guan Zu held a meeting with the variety department.

"There are three topics for today's meeting."

"First topic,"

"Today, the mainland sent a program recording 'A Bite of China'... everyone take a look, and then give your opinions, and also arrange when to broadcast it on ATV."

Guan Zu finished speaking,

Then the meeting room lights were turned off, the TV was turned on, and the recording played.

In this planning scheme of "A Bite of China", Guan Zu had made certain suggestions, first promoting cultural inheritance and dissemination, so it was still based on the original version of "A Bite of China" Season 1:

Ingredients (Gifts of Nature), Staple Food (Stories of Staple Food), Transformation (Inspiration of Transformation), Storage (Taste of Time), Cooking (Secrets of the Kitchen), Harmony (Harmony of Five Flavors), Ecology (Our Fields)...

And no one in the country had done this before, so Guan Zu's scheme was finally adopted.

And what is playing now is "Episode 1: Gifts of Nature".

The screen lit up, and first came into view was a piece of pork with bright red color and clear texture, the lens slowly zoomed in...

It magically transformed into a landscape painting like "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", with undulating peaks, revealing the unique poetry and romance of Chinese civilization...

This was also Guan Zu's suggestion: it looks like pork, but it is actually a thousand miles of rivers and mountains, conforming to the ink elements unique to Chinese civilization.

Subsequently, the scene changed, and they came to the ice and snow of the Northeast.

The fishermen of Chagan Lake were busy on the ice, they held ice chisels, trying hard to chisel open the thick ice layer, as the ice hole was opened, the lake water gurgled out, the fishing net was quickly cast, and soon, fat fish jumped in the net,

Under the slow motion, although the image quality is not high-definition, the scene of fish jumping and water droplets crystal clear in the sun is still very stunning.

The narration sounded timely: "In this ice field at the northernmost end of the Chinese land, nature gifts treasures in its own unique way, the fish of Chagan Lake, after the cold winter, the meat is tight, full of pure taste from ice and snow..."

This picture, this sound...

Guan Zu watched and felt it was average,

But the leaders of the variety department were fascinated and felt it was very good.

Subsequently, the lens of "A Bite of China" switched to the deep mountain rainforest of Yunnan, an experienced herbalist shuttled between them, he accurately identified all kinds of rare fungi, fingers gently pushed away the rotten leaves, a porcini mushroom broke through the soil, the color was gorgeous...

By the sea, the morning sun was revealed, fishermen sailed out to sea against the sea breeze, fishing... baskets of fresh shrimp, crabs, shellfish were salvaged on the boat, crystal clear shrimp jumped in the basket, crabs waved big pincers, splashing water droplets between the blue sea and blue sky...

Subsequently, the lens focused on the inland grassland, on the vast green grassland, herds of cattle and sheep were eating grass leisurely... the whole roasted lamb was sizzling with oil on the bonfire, the aroma was overflowing, making people drool...

The lens followed all the way, from high mountains to deep seas, from forests to grasslands, enjoying the unique ingredient collection, fishing, and harvesting processes in various places... during the period, some humanistic stories of the Chinese nation were told, which is relatively rare in the original version, and this version is relatively more.

Guan Zu watched, although it is not as good as the original version, it has already executed a concept well: introducing the mountains and rivers of the country, plus historical and humanistic stories, calling up the cultural inheritance in the blood. As for the prosperity of Shanghai, the thickness of Beijing, the modern civilization of high-rise buildings... it will be displayed silently in the following seasons, letting Hong Kong audiences change their views: the mainland is not purely poor!

Soon, finished watching.

Guan Zu: "How is it? Everyone give your opinions..."

"Wow, Boss, this program is very innovative, at least I haven't seen such profound, atmospheric, and grounded content."

"That's right, the pork at the beginning is impressive..."

"The ingredient collection from all over the country, the fish in the ice lake in the Northeast, the fungi in the deep mountains of Yunnan, the fresh seafood by the sea, the cattle and sheep on the grassland, this is no longer talking about eating, it is simply taking citizens to travel through the great rivers and mountains of the country, feeling the local customs and practices..."

"And, this slow-motion capture is actually so good, how was it made?"

"Right, I haven't seen this in the program before."

"This program, Hong Kong hasn't seen it, don't know if it will be popular... can try it!"

Guan Zu looked at everyone's excited expressions, and already had a plan in his heart.

It seems that this "Episode 1" is no problem.

Guan Zu ordered: "Good, then do the dubbing... use the Cantonese version for the premiere, and the Mandarin version for the rebroadcast..."

Please... collect... 6... 9... book... bar... (!)

Variety Director: "No problem!"

Guan Zu tapped the table: "Alright, next is the second topic."

"You have all seen it, "Justice Bao" is popular, crushing TVB so they can't lift their heads. And in terms of news, ATV has also won completely."

The variety executives all looked respectful.

Boss is awesome!

"So..."

Guan Zu: "Now only your variety department is left... Where is the "Super Trainee" I want? When can it start broadcasting?"

The pressure is all on you variety people now.

Actually, variety is not very miserable.

Just last month, in December,

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire"'s "Annual Heavenly Ranking God Battle", pk for a month, almost sucked all the traffic of TVB variety.

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" has always been ATV's trump card variety, although it can't compare to the peak 80%, the average ratings can at least be guaranteed to be above 50%, crushing TVB.

And the so-called "Annual Heavenly Ranking God Battle" is the ultimate version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire", ranking the top 100 players from the previous "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire", and then conducting ultimate challenges, 1vs1 pk, constantly advancing, the final champion can get a 10 million grand prize, the runner-up 3 million, the third place 1 million, others have no rewards.

Hmm, the name "Heavenly Ranking God Battle" was given by Guan Zu.

This annual pk, and the 10 million grand prize, greatly stimulated ATV's ratings.

And the "Heavenly Ranking God Battle" last month in December, 4 weeks, 8 days in total, every Saturday and Sunday from 19:00 to 21:59, each rating exceeded 70%, especially during the final ultimate battle, Huang Guantao vs Lu Jiayao, the ratings exceeded 85%.

The final champion was Lu Jiayao. ("Prison on Fire")

He is Guan Zu's loyal supporter.

And after the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" annual Heavenly Ranking God Battle ended, the ratings continued to fall back, and were snatched away by TVB for a part.

"Back to Boss, "Super Trainee" has been selected for half a month, and some names have been basically determined! According to Boss's requirements, most of them are handsome men and beautiful women."

Although I don't want to admit it, handsome men and beautiful women are indeed easier to get favor.

The variety director handed the list to Guan Zu.

Guan Zu scanned it:

There are a few familiar faces.

Wallace Chung: Born on November 30, 1974. (Originally debuted in 1993)

Miriam Yeung: Born on February 3, 1974. (Originally debuted in 1995)

Charlie Young: Born on May 23, 1974. (Originally debuted in 1992)

"This Friday and Saturday, it will officially start broadcasting, first broadcast the selection of trainees (family, background, daily life) clips, then broadcast the daily life of trainees moving into the villa..."

Guan Zu: "How is the decoration of the trainees' housing?"

Variety Director: "According to Boss's requirements, the housing was chosen in Tai O Village on Lantau Island, close to the beach."

"The housing has been renovated, and beautiful potted plants have been transplanted..."

"And the decoration is also very modern, exquisite, high-end, and inserts various advertising products, such as milk, clothes, electrical appliances... Currently we have received more than 20 million in advertising sponsorship... The whole villa is full of advertisements everywhere."

Speaking of investment advertising fees, the variety director was happy.

The variety executives looked at Guan Zu with admiration again.

Boss is awesome!

Making money is just easy!

Unlike the Liang Shuyi era before, making money was harder than eating shit.

Guan Zu: "Good! Today is Wednesday, which means it will be broadcast the day after tomorrow, promote it well..."

Variety Director: "Yes!"

Guan Zu: "And January 28, is the opening day of Five Star Supermarket Harbour City branch, before the opening, arrange for trainees to record a program to promote the opening."

This is called linkage!!

Of course, it's not just that, there are also linkages like "Justice Bao", "File Justice II", "Cold Blood Warm Heart", etc.

According to later sayings, it is called——integration, ecological closed loop!

The next two days,

On TV, ATV made full use of its own channel resources and began to scroll and broadcast carefully produced program trailers.

"The program designed by Mr. Guan, the screenwriter of the famous hit dramas "Justice Bao" and "File Justice II"——"Super Trainee", is coming shockingly..."

"Young contestants selected from thousands of households in Hong Kong..."

"Participate in half a month of voice, stage, action, and expression training, with film and television superstars teaching hand-in-hand..."

"One month of ATV hit drama practical performance, including but not limited to "Justice Bao", "File Justice II", "Forensic Heroes 1" and the unbroadcast "Cold Blood Warm Heart"..."

"The final champion and runner-up will have scripts tailored for them, and will play important roles in movies under the Five Star Film and Television Group..."

In newspapers and magazines, ATV's publicity team was not idle either, contacting major newspapers and magazine offices, buying eye-catching layouts, and publishing large publicity posters and wonderful program introductions.

Public buses also became mobile publicity positions, and the bus bodies were sprayed with program publicity paintings, with the trainees looking energetic in the pictures.

And at this time,

The "Justice Bao" version of Di Long that TVB rushed to make was finally about to be broadcast.

The publicity was grand.

It also put out the banner: TVB production, must be a masterpiece!

Inside the TVB building, the publicity department was busy like a high-speed rotating top. The poster design team stayed up for several nights, carefully conceiving every publicity poster.

Major newspaper kiosks also became the main battlefield for publicity, forming a layout competition posture with "Super Trainee".
