Chapter 561

"1992-1997 Mobile Phone Patent Technology Ideas"?

"???"

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu was a bit pleasantly surprised when he saw this system reward.

This is good stuff!

The mobile phone industry is destined to be the most important component of future world technology.

If he can grasp this piece, he can undoubtedly allow the Five Star Group to occupy the technological initiative globally.

Wait...... Hong Kong is too small, and there aren't enough talents.

Must go north.

Must build a mobile phone company in the mainland, give the country a portion of the shares, and grow bigger and stronger together.

The big picture, it's all about the big picture!

As long as his big picture is big, the country won't treat him badly.

Sucking the blood of the country is not advisable; mutual achievement is the big picture.

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu finished his late-night snack, said goodbye to Mao Xiang Yang, and returned home in his black Chevrolet.

At this time,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu was looking at another reward.

"Reward 4: One basic bulletproof black Chevrolet, 'Black Chevrolet Basic Technology Manual'......"

This was another treasure reward.

The Chevrolet rewarded, besides the bulletproof technology being advanced enough, also had car light technology, engine technology...... and so on, all far ahead of this era.

Compared to the backward technology of 1992, having this manual, as well as the physical object, was enough to cultivate a world-class car factory.

Hong Kong cannot support this project.

The talents in Hong Kong now are all in finance and law; other technical talents are simply not enough.

Still need to go north.

Only the north has enough talent and material resources to support this super-large project.

And the best place is Guangdong.

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu looked at his secretary, Wu Lianqian, sitting next to him:

"Xiao Qian...... help me go to the Xinhua News Agency......"

"Contact Guangdong; I want to go invest......"

Wu Lianqian: "Okay."

Inner thought: "???"

Why are we going north all of a sudden?

But Brother Zu is far-sighted; is it something I can understand?

I'll just do as I'm told.

Over the next few days,

the most popular news in Hong Kong was the "Sunshine Project: Transitional Housing" project,

and ATV reported on the progress every day.

Today, a building in To Kwa Wan was rented......

Tomorrow, another building in Kwun Tong was rented......

The day after tomorrow, the bustling old building renovation project......

Cage dweller after cage dweller showed happy smiles to the camera.

November 9th,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu had already taken his team north.

Although Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu's commercial empire in Hong Kong had been constantly expanding, he really didn't have much investment in the north.

This time, Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu made up his mind to do something big.

First is—the automotive industry.

The automotive industry belongs to the category of heavy industry, and its industrial chain is extremely huge and complex.

The upstream is related to steel, machinery, rubber, glass, petrochemicals, electronics, textiles, and other industries, providing various raw materials and parts for car production;

The midstream covers auto parts manufacturing and vehicle manufacturing......

The downstream involves insurance, finance, sales, maintenance, gas stations......

In short,

the automotive industry is a super huge industry that can revitalize a large amount of cash, jobs, and industrial chains......

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu's first stop was Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Railway Station.

The leader brought a group of subordinate leaders, as well as etiquette ladies holding flowers, waiting for the train to enter the station on the platform.

"The Hong Kong businessman coming this time is named Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu. The project he plans to invest in during this inspection visit is very important to our Guangdong Province......"

Added a sentence internally: It is also very important to a higher level, which represents the strengthening of cooperation between the two sides.

"And his company's supermarket has revitalized many enterprises in our Guangdong Province and created a large amount of foreign exchange for us......"

Now the country lacks funds and technology, and Hong Kong businessmen are investors they like very much.

And Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu is an even more special investor among them.

This invitation was even specifically instructed by a phone call from above.

"I hope everyone can muster 120% of their spirit to welcome his arrival."

Soon,

the train arrived.

It stopped at the station, and the doors opened.

Then Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu, wearing a suit, gold-rimmed glasses, with a kind and gentle temperament and a handsome appearance, walked off the train.

Followed by Ah Wah, secretary Wu Lianqian, and others......

"Welcome Mr. Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu to Guangzhou!"

The leader recognized Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu at a glance; he was exactly the same as in the photo. He walked up, full of smiles, and enthusiastically shook Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu's hand.

Surprised internally: So young!

While exchanging pleasantries enthusiastically, he couldn't help but glance at Xu Zhengyang next to Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu.

With this upright spirit, could he be the legendary master sent to protect Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu?

"Hello, leader...... Sorry to trouble you this time......"

"No trouble, no trouble......"

Next,

first went to the Bai Tiane Hotel for a meal.

The Bai Tiane Hotel was the first five-star hotel in mainland China, the first joint-venture five-star hotel in the mainland, and the first five-star hotel designed, built, and operated by Chinese people in the mainland.

Back then, Mr. Fok and other Hong Kong businessmen were invited by Liao Gong of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Department to go to Beijing to discuss formulating a plan: to build 8 Sino-foreign joint-venture hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Nanjing.

As the forefront of reform and opening up, Guangzhou needed to build a five-star hotel of international level, and this task fell on Mr. Fok, whose ancestral home was Panyu.

After many inspections of Guangzhou, Mr. Fok finally selected Shamian Island, the "city oasis" of Guangzhou.

And then built the Bai Tiane Hotel.

Opened in 1983.

After eating,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu's group started a tour of major science and engineering universities.

The motorcade went in a mighty procession to the Qingbei of Guangdong Province—Sun Yat-sen University.

In his previous life, Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu's grades weren't good; he only got into Guangzhou University of Technology and even ran to the University Town to be a monk, miserable...... At that time, he could only look at Sun Yat-sen University and sigh.

"Welcome leader and Mr. Guan to the school for guidance......" The school leaders welcomed them at the school gate.

They had long received notice from the leader that the Hong Kong businessman coming this time had an extraordinary status and possessed powerful influence in Hong Kong.

As long as this cooperation was negotiated, he would definitely become a big donor for Sun Yat-sen University.

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu and others stepped into the campus, shaded by green trees,

"Leader, Mr. Guan, our university's engineering majors have a long history and rich disciplines. In fields closely related to the automotive industry such as materials science and energy power, we are absolutely ranked first in the province......"

The leader bragged about his school fiercely.

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu listened carefully while observing the campus. At this time, the school's learning atmosphere seemed very strong; many students were rushing with books, and from time to time, he saw groups of students sitting together discussing academic problems heatedly......

Subsequently, he visited the school's scientific research facilities, laboratories......

At night,

continued to eat, going to the Guangzhou Hotel.

The Guangzhou Hotel was completed in 1968 and was the last of the Canton Fair series of buildings in Haizhu Square to be completed. Upon completion, it became the tallest building in Guangzhou and was popularly known as the "27-story building" by Guangzhou folk.

Then that night,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu drank without getting drunk and drank all the leaders under the table.

Numerous leaders: "6!"

A new day, Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu and the leader continued their journey and went to South China University of Technology.

The leaders of South China University of Technology led Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu and the government leader's group through the campus while introducing: "Leader, Mr. Guan, the school has made many achievements in professional fields such as mechanical engineering, automation, and electronic information engineering......"

Then, they visited laboratory after laboratory and listened to the teachers' classes......

At noon,

continued to eat......

In the afternoon, rest, go sightseeing, basically just cruising the Pearl River to see the scenery.

The third day,

the motorcade continued in a mighty procession and came to Guangzhou University of Technology...... well, Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu didn't recognize this old campus at all, it was so unfamiliar.

In his previous life, Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu was still in the University Town monk campus, with 42 students in a class, 3 girls, and 39 boys. The whole campus was all science and engineering, with all liberal arts in another campus, and the gender ratio was seriously out of balance. Eating in the canteen, attending classes in the classroom, looking at it, it was all men~~~ It was bad enough to be wronged, and he had to be gossiped about by several other universities. If he had known, he would have applied to South China Agricultural University; it was self-improving, got into 211 itself, or applied to Shenzhen University, and formed a Shenzhen University alumni circle~~~

The school leader introduced along the way,

he valued Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu, this big boss, very much, because Guangzhou University of Technology was much poorer than Sun Yat-sen University and South China University of Technology.

At noon, the school leader enthusiastically invited them to eat at a big hotel...... Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu strongly requested to eat farm-raised free-range chicken......

The party paying the bill has the final say. Finally, Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu got his wish and ate the free-range chicken, hmm, not bad......

As of today,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu officially ended his university inspection.

That night, checked into the Bai Tiane Hotel.

The fourth day,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu's group, led by the leader, went to Guangzhou Yangcheng Automobile Factory for inspection.

Its predecessor was the Guangzhou Second Machinery Manufacturing Cooperative, established in 1958, and later merged into GAC.

By the way, 2 months ago, Honda reached a cooperation with Guangzhou and established the first company, Honda Motorcycle, which would gradually develop into GAC Honda later. Now, it's still a small one.

At this time, in the Yangcheng Automobile Factory, machines were roaring in the workshop, and workers were busy working.

The leaders of the automobile factory led everyone, leading the way while introducing.

Then on the 6th day,

ran directly to Zhanjiang, where there was a car company called Samsung Auto, also established this year (1992), a Sino-Korean joint venture, mainly producing two basic vehicle models: light trucks and light buses......

On the 8th day, went to......

Nearly half a month,

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu ran to major car factories...... and then negotiated with Guangdong Province for a few days.

Finally, left Ah Wah to continue talking.

The basic framework was to establish a joint-venture car company, with the Five Star Group providing money, technology, and patents, and GAC responsible for providing people, effort, and materials.

Finally, the Five Star Group took 65%......

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu returned to Hong Kong, and it was already the end of November.

At this time,

with the progress of half a month, the "Sunshine Project" had rented enough abandoned factories and commercial buildings, a total of 23 locations.

More than 100,000 cage dwellers in Hong Kong were bustling to join the repair and construction of the "Sunshine Community".

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu returned to Causeway Bay and it was already night.

On the way, he passed under the bridge and saw a group of homeless people in their residences under the bridge, relying on these residences built by the Five Star Group to shelter from the wind and rain......

Returned home,

when washing up and eating,

heard ATV still bragging:

"Five Star Group, hand in hand with every enthusiastic citizen of Hong Kong...... create a happy city together......"

"The first Sunshine Community, the second Sunshine Community, have already been fully put into use......"

"The remaining 21 Sunshine Communities are being built at a very fast speed......"

"23 Sunshine Communities are enough to cover 170,000 cage dwellers in Hong Kong......"

"Build Sunshine Communities, let every poor Hong Kong citizen feel fairness, justice, and warmth, and share the fruits of urban development......"

Director Director Director Guan Zu Zu made a call to Da Tou:

"Although the project is completed, we can go one step further......"

"Next, we can include all the homeless people living under bridges and in unfinished buildings into the Sunshine Community......"

"Since I said 'the soaring of Hong Kong must bring them along', then we must bring them along......"

Da Tou was very excited over there.

"Brother Zu, rest assured, I will push it forward as soon as possible!"

A new day,

all Five Star Property branches in Hong Kong began to collect information on homeless people in Hong Kong......

ATV followed up with reports......
