Chapter 74

The Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven was split off, and this region's wind, water, fire, and earth instantly erupted in turmoil.

Translation: The Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven was split off, and the land, wind, water, and fire of this region instantly erupted in turmoil!

We need to keep same meaning, not add extra. Let's produce: "The Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven was split off, and the land, wind, water, and fire of this region instantly erupted in turmoil!" That's fine.

Threads of karmic force were forcibly imposed upon Zhu Qingyun.

Translation: Threads of karmic force were forcibly imposed upon Zhu Qingyun's body.

Nüwa sensed something, the Grand Dao of Creation unfolded, the light of Creation showered down, and the region that had lost the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven and fallen into chaos instantly gave birth to countless living beings, calming the raging wind, water, fire, and earth.

Translation: Nüwa sensed something, the Grand Creation Dao unfolded, Creation Light showered down, and living beings were born one by one in the region that had lost the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven and become chaotic, calming the turbulent land, wind, water, and fire.

Zhu Qingyun's aura shook, the Grand Dao of Karma circulated, and the karmic burdens imposed on him were instantly dispelled.

Translation: Zhu Qingyun's aura shook, the Karmic Great Dao circulated, and the karmic karma imposed on him was instantly dissolved.

This is the might of the Karma Dao! Whoever masters the Karma Dao cannot have any karma afflict them! The Fire Cloud Grotto is the premier grotto-heaven of the primordial world; it cannot be moved by mortal power, so Zhu Qingyun could only lift it and fly toward the southern Immortal Flame Mountain.

Translation: This is the greatness of the Karmic Great Dao! Master the Karmic Great Dao, and no karmic force can be imposed upon me! The Fire Cloud Grotto is the first grotto-heaven of the Primordial Wilderness; it cannot be moved by the power of the Human Dao, so Zhu Qingyun could only lift the grotto-heaven and fly toward the Southern Undying Volcano.

As Zhu Qingyun drew nearer to the Immortal Flame Mountain, the calamitous qi in heaven and earth gradually dissipated.

Translation: As Zhu Qingyun drew ever closer to the Undying Volcano, the calamitous qi in heaven and earth gradually dissipated.

Qiankun, Yin-Yang, and Yangmei all felt that as the calamitous qi faded, their respective Grand Daos trembled slightly, as if on the verge of breaking through a certain barrier.

Translation: Qiankun, Yin Yang, and Yang Mei all felt that as the calamitous qi gradually dissipated, the Great Dao they mastered trembled slightly, as if about to break through that barrier.

"Immortal Flame Mountain..."

Translation: "Undying Volcano..."

Rahu stood within the Demon Realm, pondering whether to obstruct Zhu Qingyun's actions.

Translation: Luo Hou stood in the Heavenly Demon Realm, pondering whether to obstruct Zhu Qingyun's actions.

The longer the calamity persists, the more living beings die, and his Demon Realm grows ever stronger!

Translation: The longer the Great Calamity persisted, the more living beings died, and his Heavenly Demon Realm grew ever stronger!

However, he glanced at Nüwa, who was constantly monitoring his movements, and at Yin-Yang and Qiankun, who were on the verge of attaining the Mixed Yuan Great Golden Immortal Dao.

Translation: However, upon seeing Nüwa, who was always watching his movements, and Yin Yang and Qiankun, who were about to attain the Primordial Chaos Great Luo Golden Immortal,

After a moment's thought, Rahu abandoned the idea of taking action.

Translation: Luo Hou pondered for a moment, but still gave up the idea of taking action.

"It seems the primordial world will soon fall under the dominion of the All-Heavens Island forces; I hope Hongjun does not disappoint me!"

Translation: "It seems the future Primordial Wilderness will become the domain of the Myriad Heavens Islands forces; I hope Hongjun does not disappoint me!"

Although Rahu spoke confidently, he knew well that facing the All-Heavens Island forces, he would be constrained by them in the short term.

Translation: Although Luo Hou spoke confidently, he knew well that facing the Myriad Heavens Islands forces, he would be restricted by them in the short term.

He could only hope that his mortal enemy, Hongjun, the arch-rival of his own Dao, might have some means to intervene in the primordial world.

Translation: He could only hope that his Dao's arch-enemy Hongjun might have some means to intervene in the Primordial Wilderness.

By tying up the energies of the All-Heavens Island forces, he could buy himself enough time to develop.

Translation: By tying up the energy of the Myriad Heavens Islands forces, he could gain enough time to develop himself.

"The primordial world is about to enter the era of the Mixed Yuan Great Golden Immortals!"

Translation: "The Primordial Wilderness will enter the era of the Primordial Chaos Great Luo Golden Immortal!"

The innate divinities born of the primordial heaven and earth—such as Donghuang Taiyi, Di Jun, Zhen Yuanzi, and Minghe—each had a clear realization in their hearts.

Translation: The primordial divine sages born of the Primordial Wilderness Heaven and Earth, such as Donghuang Taiyi, Di Jun, Zhenyuanzi, and Minghe, all had a clear understanding in their hearts.

"I do not know where our path lies!"

Translation: "I do not know where our path lies!"

Di Jun sighed.

Translation: Di Jun sighed.

He, who was born with an imperial destiny, had already gathered a host of innate divinities.

Translation: He, who naturally possessed the Imperial Destiny, had at this point gathered a group of primordial divine sages.

Figures such as Bai Ze, Ji Meng, and Ying Zhao sought to establish the demon race, intending, after the three clans relinquished hegemony, to vie for the lordship of heaven and earth!

Translation: Such as Bai Ze, Ji Meng, and Ying Zhao, who wished to establish the Demon Race, after the Three Clans relinquished their hegemony, he would go contend for the Lord of Heaven and Earth!

"Taiyi, it seems we must still make a trip to the All-Heavens Islands!"

Translation: "Taiyi, it seems we still need to make a trip to the Myriad Heavens Islands!"

To become the lord of heaven and earth, to be the protagonist race of the cosmos, the All-Heavens Island forces are an unavoidable power.

Translation: To become the Lord of Heaven and Earth and become the protagonist race of heaven and earth, the Myriad Heavens Islands forces are an unavoidable power.

"We will follow the elder brother's decision!"

Translation: "All will follow the elder brother's decision!"

Regarding Zhu Qingyun, Donghuang Taiyi feels a certain admiration.

Translation: Regarding Zhu Qingyun, Donghuang Taiyi felt some admiration.

Donghuang Taiyi esteems personal martial prowess; previously, Zhu Qingyun, merely a late-stage Mixed Yuan Golden Immortal, could battle the peak Mixed Yuan Hongjun and even gain the upper hand—showing how formidable the personal combat strength of this Heavenly Fortune Daoist is! Although Zhu Qingyun cannot use mortal power to shift the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven, he himself is a peak Mixed Yuan Golden Immortal in both flesh and spirit.

Translation: Donghuang Taiyi esteemed personal martial prowess; the earlier Zhu Qingyun, merely a late-stage Primordial Chaos Golden Immortal, could battle Hongjun at the Primordial Chaos Peak and even gain the advantage! This shows how formidable the personal combat strength of this Heavenly Fortune Daoist is! Although Zhu Qingyun cannot use the power of the Human Dao to move the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven, he himself is also an entity of dual primordial chaos golden immortal peak in both flesh and primordial spirit.

Thus, in the span of a tea's brewing, Zhu Qingyun lifted the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven and arrived at the Immortal Flame Mountain, which was still erupting, with various divine fires continually spewing from its crater.

Translation: Thus, it only took the time to finish a cup of tea for Zhu Qingyun to lift the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven and arrive at the Undying Volcano; at this moment the Undying Volcano was still erupting, with various divine fires continuously spilling from the crater.

Nanming Li fire, Immortal flame, Ziwei heavenly fire, Nine Netherworld fire, Six Ding divine fire, Samadhi true fire! All kinds of flames blazed, and a destructive aura emanated from the volcano's depths.

Translation: Southern Brightness Departing Fire, Undying Fire, Purple Astra Heavenly Fire, Nine Netherworld Dark Fire, Six Ding Divine Fire, Threefold True Fire! Various flames blazed, and a destructive aura emanated from the volcano's depths.

"Go!"

Translation: "Go!"

Zhu Qingyun hurled the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven, lodging it in the volcano's mouth!

Translation: Zhu Qingyun hurled the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven, lodging it in the volcano's crater!

Instantly, countless divine fires surged forth; the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven was set into the volcano's mouth, suppressing the destructive force! The Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven and the Immortal Flame Mountain's mouth seemed naturally made for each other, merging as one! Streams of violent divine fire poured into the grotto heaven, where its potent Dao patterns smoothed the violent factors within, transforming them into streams of primordial divine fire that one can absorb! The Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven, now compatible with the Immortal Flame Mountain, has become utterly the premier fire-cultivation holy land of the primordial world!

Translation: Instantly, countless divine fires surged outward; the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven was inlaid in the crater, and the destructive force was suppressed! The Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven and the Undying Volcano's crater seemed naturally made for each other, merging together! Streams of fierce divine fire entered the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven; the violent factors within were soothed by the potent Dao rhythm inside the grotto-heaven, becoming streams of primal divine fire that one could absorb! The Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven, compatible with the Undying Volcano, thus became the Primordial Wilderness's first fire-system cultivation holy land!

"Sister-in-law, from now on we only need to arrange our clansmen to absorb this primordial fire, and the Immortal Flame Mountain will be free of worry!"

Translation: "Sister-in-law, from now on we only need to arrange the clanspeople to absorb these primal fires, and the Undying Volcano will be worry-free!"

Zhu Qingyun looked satisfied at his handiwork and gave a word of instruction to Yuan Feng.

Translation: Zhu Qingyun satisfiedly gazed at his masterpiece and entrusted a word to Yuan Feng.

The Immortal Flame Mountain was still spewing divine fire, but after passing through the Fire Cloud Grotto, the destructive fire became a supreme fire treasure! However, the transformative power of the Fire Cloud Grotto has its limits, so we still need to assign people to absorb the primordial fire within it! As the Immortal Flame Mountain—the last unstable spot in the primordial world—was stabilized, the calamitous qi between heaven and earth vanished completely, and the primordial world regained its clarity! Innumerable karmic retributions descended, and before Zhu Qingyun's eyes, Yuan Feng was instantly entangled by karma! Yuan Feng had anticipated this; upon hearing Zhu Qingyun's instruction, she nodded and then proceeded to the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven.

However, the transformative power of the Fire Cloud Grotto has its limits, so we still need to arrange people to absorb the primal fire within the Fire Cloud Grotto! And as the Undying Volcano, the last unstable point in the Primordial Wilderness, was stabilized, the calamitous qi between heaven and earth completely dissipated, and the Primordial Wilderness regained clarity! Countless karmic karma descended, and Zhu Qingyun's Yuan Feng before his eyes was instantly entangled by karma! Yuan Feng had long anticipated this; facing Zhu Qingyun's entrustment, she nodded and then proceeded to the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven.

A powerful suction arose; all the primordial fires within the Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven were drawn into Yuan Feng's Dao body! As a fire divine beast, formed from the primordial source of the Four Auspicious Spirits' fire, she needed only a breath to refine those divine fires.

Translation: A powerful suction came forth; all the primal fires within the Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven were completely drawn into Yuan Feng's Dao body! As a fire divine beast, transformed from the primal source of the fire of the four celestial spirits of the opening heaven, in merely a breath, Yuan Feng refined these divine fires.

"Huh?"

Translation: "Huh?"

Yuan Feng was surprised to discover that, as she refined the primordial fire, a faint force of merit descended upon her.

Translation: Yuan Feng was surprised to discover that, as she refined the primal fire, a weak merit force descended upon her.

To her delight, this merit force could actually offset karmic retribution!

Translation: To her delight, this merit force could actually offset karma!

Although each drop of merit is small, compared to the vast karmic burden it is merely a drop in the bucket.

Translation: Although each descent of merit is small, compared to the vast karmic karma it is but a drop in the bucket.

Yet, with time accumulating, perhaps one day the Phoenix clan could be freed from this karmic burden! "Golden Phoenix, issue the order: all Phoenix clansmen, come to the Immortal Flame Mountain's Fire Cloud Grotto Heaven to absorb the primordial fire!"

Translation: But with accumulation over time, perhaps one day the Phoenix Clan could be freed from this karmic karma! "Jin Feng, issue the order: all Phoenix Clan members, come to the Undying Volcano Fire Cloud Grotto-Heaven to absorb the primal fire!"

Yuan Feng's voice echoed in Golden Phoenix's ears; as soon as she agreed, she sensed several tremendous pressures descending upon her in succession.

Translation: Yuan Feng's voice echoed in Jin Feng's ears; as soon as she agreed, she sensed several successive waves of immense pressure descending upon her.

Instantly, her figure was frozen.

Translation: Immediately, her figure was frozen.

Flowers rained down in chaos, golden lotuses sprang from the earth! At this moment, the primordial source of heaven and earth received a tremendous boost! After the calamity receded, the primordial world lifted its suppression on mighty adepts! Qiankun, who had fully grasped the innate Eight Trigrams, was the first to attain the Mixed Yuan Great Golden Immortal Dao! Appearing to be drawn by the aura, Yangmei Daoist and the Yin-Yang Ancestor swiftly followed, also achieving Mixed Yuan Great Golden Immortal status! In a single day, the primordial world seemed to gain three additional suns, stretching across the heavens! "I am Yin-Yang; I have now attained the Mixed Yuan Great Golden Immortal Dao. In three thousand years, I will lecture on the Three Immortal Islands of the Eastern Sea; all with affinity may come to listen."

Translation: Heavenly flowers rained down, earth sprouted golden lotuses! At this moment the primal source of the Primordial Wilderness Heaven and Earth received a tremendous boost! After the Great Calamity receded, the Primordial Wilderness Heaven and Earth lifted the suppression on great supernatural beings! Having long comprehended the primordial eight trigrams, Qiankun was the first to attain the Primordial Chaos Great Luo Golden Immortal! Seemingly drawn by the aura, Yang Mei Daoist and Yin Yang Old Ancestor closely followed, attaining the Primordial Chaos Great Luo Golden Immortal! In a single day, the Primordial Wilderness Heaven and Earth were as if three extra suns had appeared, spanning the sky! "I am Yin Yang, now attaining the Primordial Chaos Great Luo Golden Immortal; in three thousand years, I will lecture on the Dao at the Three Immortals Island in the Eastern Sea; all with affinity may come to listen!"

The Yin-Yang Ancestor's voice rang throughout the primordial world, although he was not the first to attain the Mixed Yuan Great Golden Immortal Dao.

Translation: The voice of the Yin Yang Old Ancestor transmitted throughout the Primordial Wilderness Heaven and Earth, although he was not the first Primordial Chaos Great Luo Golden Immortal of the Primordial Wilderness.

Zhu Qingyun wished for him to follow the original path that Hongjun had taken in his lectures.

Translation: Zhu Qingyun wanted him to follow the original path of Hongjun's lectures.

With the support of his elder brother and himself as the Human Dao Patriarch, and Nüwa as the Sovereign of the Human Dao, he became the Primordial Dao Patriarch! Furthermore, he thus became the Lord of the Primordial Heavenly Dao! "Have Yin-Yang and Second Uncle attained the Dao?"

Translation: With the support of the Second Elder Brother and myself as the Human Dao Ancestor, and Nüwa as the Lord of Human Dao, he became the Primordial Wilderness Dao Ancestor! And thereby further advanced to become the Lord of the Heavenly Dao of the Primordial Wilderness! "Have Yin Yang and the Second Uncle attained the Dao?"

Yuan Feng's voice at this moment was full of surprise; she sincerely rejoiced for the two! "It's a pity that if sister-in-law had not participated in the Tribal War, she would surely have attained the Dao by now!"

Translation: Yuan Feng's voice at this moment was full of delight; she sincerely rejoiced for the two! "It's a pity that, if the sister-in-law had not participated in the Three Clans War, she would surely have attained the Dao by now!"

Upon hearing Zhu Qingyun say that, Yuan Feng merely smiled and said nothing.

Translation: Yuan Feng, upon hearing Zhu Qingyun say that, merely smiled and said nothing.

After all, contending for hegemony is the path she herself chose! Moreover, without the support of the Phoenix clan, it remains uncertain whether she could now reach the ultimate Dao.

Translation: After all, seeking hegemony is her own chosen path! Moreover, without the support of the Phoenix Clan, whether she could now reach the apex of the Dao is still debatable.

The Phoenix clan, it is both the driving force that aids the three clan leaders in their advance, and also the shackle burdened upon them! (End of chapter)
