Chapter 871: with translation of chapter title

Completed, fireworks and side stories, new book report.

Completed, fireworks and side stories, new book report.

This book has finally been completed.

The entire book is 3.46 million characters, started at the end of September 2019, written until the end of March 2022, and finally completed.

Two and a half years of time witnessed the fantastical 2020 and 2021…… Looking back now, it still feels quite extraordinary.

This book really took a long time to write; the author never anticipated it beforehand—who could have imagined so much back then? Initially, I just held my breath, wanting to finish a story and give some reader friends a satisfactory conclusion.

After all, longtime readers who have followed along know that my previous book was banned at the time, and it died a miserable death.

It was banned, but not voluntarily; it was forcibly cut off…… What could the author do? I'm also really frustrated.

Back then I was quite unwilling, so I gritted my teeth, stomped my foot, and started this book—actually it's just a continuation from a different angle, still telling the story of Fuxi and Nüwa.

However, doing this, looking back it's actually not so good, resulting in a bunch of problems… for example, some readers said the plot was too watery, the protagonist's screen time not prominent, etc.

The author also admits, there are indeed many flaws; it's truly my own fault as a beast of burden, not taking proper care of the reading experience for both new and old readers, so I can only say it's an unsuccessful work.

This is due to my personal writing ability; please forgive me, longtime supporters.

No matter what, the story can be considered to have reached a pause…… I won't do such foolish things again.

Of course, looking at the comment section, some friends doubt it, feeling the ending is too rushed, Fuxi was weakened too terribly, the human essence doesn't do human things…… and so on; later I'll consider adding some side stories to fill the holes.

Um, in there I'll say some more flirtatious talk, depicting how the great divine beings of the Honghuang world, under the rules and constraints of the Holy Humanity·Xuanyuan Majesty, have countermeasures' flirtatious operations, letting the author's self run free……

Indeed it's letting the self run free; after all, the author's own writing in this book felt stifled, confined within the framework of the previous book, but side stories…… they can be completely unrestrained.

This also counts as finding one's original intention, adjusting one's personal writing state, preparing for the next book…… some reader friends also know, is the author? or not? a proper person?

Forget it.

My Star Brilliance, what bad intentions could I have?

Right, speaking of the next book, probably in about half a month…… maybe? At the latest, end of April.

——if nothing unexpected happens.

After all, the fire of the epidemic is still burning, it's even reached my doorstep…… even my Greater Sanya isn't safe; I can't say which day I'll go out walking and then…… eh, I won't be able to return, getting quarantined.

Tomorrow and the unexpected, nobody knows which will come first; I also dare not guarantee…… Here I hope this year can pass peacefully, everyone stays healthy.

Being alive is what matters most.

Alright, I won't say more.

Now, let me pull up the thank-you list.
