Chapter 812

They walked over to the members of the Skyward Commission who had been watching them nearby, intending to get a sense of the situation.

"Who are you people? Don't you know the Starport has already been sealed off?"

The moment the three of them drew close, a rather irritable-looking staff member opened his mouth to interrogate them.

"Sigh, just a few uninvited tourists who wandered in by mistake—let's keep our tone civil."

Hearing his companion take such a tone,

the milder-mannered staff member beside him hurriedly tugged at him.

"... The Starport is Luo Fu Xianzhou's shipbuilding harbor. If the Skyward Commission is sealing off the port, there must be an official notice, right?"

Hearing Yanqing sized up the two Skyward Commission staff members for a moment,

then opened his mouth to ask.

"An official notice? Of course there is."

"The Cloud Knights have learned that someone has infiltrated the Starport."

The staff member replied swiftly.

"... Oh, that makes sense. So you're currently screening for Denizens of Abundance?"

After hearing the answer, Hearing Yanqing asked again.

"We've received instructions from our superiors. To prevent unrelated parties from interfering with the Cloud Knights' inspection, we've specially sealed this place off. Please understand our work."

The milder-mannered staff member opened his mouth to explain a few things,

after which, Hearing Yanqing and the other two exchanged a few glances,

got the picture, and left for the time being.

Afterwards, they went over to the lone Cloud Knight on duty.

"Ah—! General Hearing Yanqing! And General Feixiao?"

Startled by the sudden appearance of someone,

this Cloud Knight was given a fright.

"Brother Cloud Knight, you've heard about the Denizens of Abundance breaking out of prison, right?"

This time it was still Hearing Yanqing who opened his mouth to ask.

"I've received the news. I'll stay on high alert at all times!"

This Cloud Knight nodded.

"Based on my observation, you've been staring in the direction of the Jingfeng the whole time. So have you noticed anything unusual?"

General Feixiao chimed in to ask at this point.

"The Jingfeng is completely normal—no special situations!"

The Cloud Knight reported.

"Um, this place isn't a Cloud Knight duty post, is it?"

Stelle began to question whether this Cloud Knight's duty post was wrong.

"Oh, this spot has a good view. You came here to observe the Jingfeng, didn't you?"

Hearing Yanqing guessed at this Cloud Knight's little secret.

"Ye... yes."

The Cloud Knight answered softly in the affirmative.

"Then after watching the Jingfeng for so long, did you notice anything?"

Stelle continued to press.

"... Honestly, just standing here watching the ship's flight path is pretty boring. If I could get on board, what I'd most want to see is General Hearing Yanqing's arena-defense match..."

"Speaking of which, General Hearing Yanqing, shouldn't you be on the Jingfeng right now?"

"Is it really okay not to return to the Jingfeng now?"

The Cloud Knight looked at Hearing Yanqing, somewhat puzzled... 0

"Thank you for your support. I have more important things to do."

After Hearing Yanqing finished speaking, he turned and brought General Feixiao and Stelle along,

to investigate that artisan from the Artisanship Commission.

"Hey, you three. If you're not official personnel, please don't wander around the Starport."

"Ah... it's General Hearing Yanqing."

Sensing someone approaching from behind,

the Artisanship Commission artisan turned around to warn them.

But upon realizing it was Hearing Yanqing,

he hurriedly shut his mouth.

"Aren't you wandering around here too?"

Stelle opened her mouth to say.

"I'm official personnel, specially dispatched to investigate a strange problem."

The artisan glanced at Stelle and the other two, hurriedly explaining.

"A strange problem?"

General Feixiao frowned as she listened.

"That's right. Starskiffs outside the production plan have been manufactured, all of them coming out of this dock in the Starport."

"Is the assembly line's production planning messed up again?"

"That's really strange. All the Starskiffs produced before the Martial Arts Ceremony should have been properly planned."

GLOSSARY:

【General Feixiao, Hearing Yanqing, Stelle, Luo Fu, Luofu Xianzhou, Skyward Commission, Starport, Cloud Knights, Denizens of Abundance, Jingfeng, Artisanship Commission, Starskiff, Martial Arts Ceremony】

【Sorry, I have to focus on the work at hand first.】

【If there are questions, we'll discuss them later.】

Paimon: "Uh... it feels like these people all seem pretty normal."

Paimon: "Seems like nothing's wrong with them?"

Paimon: "Are there really Buli people mixed in among them?"

Lumine: "Paimon, it's already so obvious—didn't you notice at all?"

Paimon: "Eh?? Obvious??"

Paimon: "Am I just too dumb?"

Paimon: "How come I didn't notice a thing."

Furina: "Mm... it really is obvious."

Furina: "It was even exposed right from the start."

Furina: "It's those two members of the Skyward Commission."

Hu Tao: "General Feixiao just said it herself—after Hearing Yanqing noticed the anomaly, General Feixiao immediately sealed off the information and tried to keep everything as it was."

Hu Tao: "Yet these two Skyward Commission members said they came to seal off Starport."

Hu Tao: "And besides, the other two could both recognize Hearing Yanqing."

Hu Tao: "But they didn't know anything about Hearing Yanqing's identity at all."

Paimon: "Ah... when you put it that way, it does seem really strange!"

March 7th: "No need to say more—these two are definitely Buli people in disguise."

Mualani: "Then should we expose them?"

Kinich: "Depends on what General Feixiao has planned."

The video continues.

【A group of Buli people faked their identities and returned to Starport—the answer is already obvious—】

The three of them arrived at a hidden clearing,

and began to analyze the problem.

【They should be Skyward Commission staff.】

Stelle had already spotted the clue.

【I think so too.】

Hearing Yanqing and Stelle's thoughts were the same.

【Do you remember I said the Cloud Knights sealed off the news and tried to keep everything as it was?】

【That means they shouldn't have sealed off Starport.】
