Chapter 842: It Was All an Act?

The video continued.

Yunli began hurrying Hearing Yanqing toward the engine room.

【The Martial Exhibition Ceremony is about to begin. All contestants, please take your positions in the arena.】

At the same time, a broadcast rang out through the Cruising Arena's hall, summoning the contestants to their places.

【The engine bay is just ahead. Let's go.】

Yunli ignored the broadcast and quickened her pace with Hearing Yanqing.

Soon, the two of them arrived at the engine room.

And here, the radiance from the engine's surging power lit up the surroundings, yet not a single soul was in sight.

【Strange — why has everyone vanished from this area?】

Yunli couldn't help but speak up.

But Hearing Yanqing's gaze locked at once onto a strange shipping container in the center of the engine room.

So he shot Yunli a look.

She took the hint.

The two silently drew their weapons, one on the left, one on the right.

And closed in on the container from both sides!

However, when they reached the other end of the container,

all they saw were two Cloud Knights corpses, their bodies twisted in grotesque poses.

【The Cloud Knights... are all here.】

The sight left a bitter taste in Hearing Yanqing's mouth.

【Heh, you two ought to be lying right alongside them...】

【Don't worry, little brats — there's plenty of room in this space to stash your corpses too.】

Suddenly, seven or eight Foxian sneered into view.

Surrounding Hearing Yanqing and Yunli together.

Obviously, they were all Buli people in disguise.

Hearing Yanqing: "Sigh... more Cloud Knights lost."

Hearing Yanqing: "Just as I thought — Buli people have snuck aboard the Cruising Arena too."

Yunli: "Damned shameless curs!"

Yunli: "A handful of wolf cubs, and you actually dream of taking me down?"

Yunli: "In a bit I'll smash every last one of you into meat paste with Old Iron!"

March 7th: "How on earth did they show up? So sudden!"

Furina: "Were they hiding somewhere concealed?"

Furina: "But I don't see any spot around here that could hide a person?"

Hu Tao: "Maybe they came in from outside — just waiting for Miss Yunli and young man Hearing Yanqing to walk right into their trap."
