Chapter 94: The Clock Boy Only the Straightforward, Pure-Hearted, and Childlike Can See

In the video.

【A talking clock.】

【I must be crazy!】

Stelle watched the Clock Boy chatter on,

finding it absurd.

【A talking clock?】

【..... Clock Boy?】

【You mean..... you saw an animated character that doesn't exist in reality?】

Flowing Fire heard Stelle's muttering,

and asked in surprise.

【You can't see it??】

Stelle rubbed the back of her head, puzzled,

the Clock Boy was standing right in front of them both,

yet Flowing Fire hadn't noticed?

【Uh.... where?? I can't see anything.....】

Flowing Fire carefully scanned around,

but found nothing.

【Tick-tock! I guess only children who are straightforward, pure-hearted, and childlike can see me!】

【Like this gray friend!】

The Clock Boy heard Flowing Fire's words,

then explained to Stelle.

【The Clock Boy says you're not straightforward, pure-hearted, or childlike.】

【That's why you can't see him.】

Stelle relayed the Clock Boy's words to Flowing Fire.

【Uh.... where am I not straightforward, pure-hearted, or childlike.....!?】

Flowing Fire felt stabbed in the heart, her tone sounding wounded.

【Tick-tock, tick-tock! Gray friend! Since you can see me, you can help me!】

【My good friend Little Misha is in trouble! Please, save him!】

【Otherwise someone will die!】

The Clock Boy began pleading with Stelle.

【It says someone's going to die!!】

Stelle kindly conveyed the Clock Boy's words to Flowing Fire.

【Huh... is it that serious...?】

Flowing Fire froze upon hearing it.

【Then shouldn't you go help this... uh... Clock Boy only you can see first?】

Flowing Fire asked.

【I don't doubt you—after all, anything can happen in a dream... the place I mentioned can wait a bit...】

After saying that,

Flowing Fire felt it sounded off, so she added another explanation.

【Tick-tock, tick-tock! Hurry up, hurry up, gray friend!】

【Little Misha's in danger! He's right there—I'll lead you to him!】

The Clock Boy shouted a few words to Stelle,

then hurried off.

【The name Little Misha is oddly compelling... I should go see what's happening first.】
