Launch Announcement

Brothers, it's time for the launch!

Damn it, don't you dare run!

Sob sob, I beg you, please don't run (╥_╥)

(Crawling in the shadows)

(Twisted howling)

I forgot the rest.

Aie-hee~

Before I knew it, I've written my fourth book to the point of launch.

For a moment, I didn't know what to say.

The birth of this book was quite bumpy; back in February, I started finalizing the world-building and settings for the new book.

I wrote about seventy or eighty thousand words of settings in a scattered way, and then wrote three chapters of the main text as a buffer.

At that time, a friend told me that Qidian had opened a female-lead specialized group, specifically accepting female-lead novels, so I rushed over there excitedly.

Then the main text didn't pass the submission.

Uh, how should I put it? I've become bad at this.

Old readers should know that when I was writing my previous book, I was in my third year of high school and had no time, so later on, I would update one chapter every five or six days, or even ten days.

Under those circumstances of letting things slide, my skill level declined severely.

When I first started writing this book, I would get stuck for a long time after writing almost every paragraph.

People reading this book should also be able to notice that the level of the first ten chapters is actually—ahem, let's not talk about that.

In short, after my submission was rejected, I wrote a second draft, but as soon as I finished writing four thousand words, I felt I couldn't bear to look at it, so I deleted it all.

For the third draft, I changed the genre directly, deleted all the previous tens of thousands of words of settings, and planned to change tracks.

Then I didn't pass again.

After that, I tried two more times, and both were rejected.

Then, I changed to the urban light novel genre, and didn't pass again.

Not counting the drafts I didn't submit, just counting the number of times my submissions were rejected, it was six times.

And the seventh draft is this one.

I picked back up the settings I had previously thrown away, then humbly studied the new books on the new book charts, and that's how about a month passed.

The first three chapters of this book only took shape then. It was already September; I had finished my old book in April and had said I would release a new book in June.

I was a full three months late.

I knew I couldn't keep dragging it out, so after this book passed the submission, I only had less than five days of buffer chapters, and I released the chapters on September 20th.

So the preparation for this book was not sufficient; I thought of the book title in five minutes, and the synopsis was made up on the spot. (The current synopsis has been changed)

To be honest, I regret it a little.

I really should have prepared more.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many abrupt or abnormal plot points in the book.

I would also like to thank everyone who has been able to read up to this point; it is because of your support that I can keep walking forward.

My mindset isn't very good; I could even say I'm anxious every day. I flip through the comments back and forth almost every day, and I refresh the collection count every few minutes.

The first thing I think about after a new chapter is released is whether there are any problems with the text I wrote today, and whether it will drive people away.

Seeing the collection count drop also makes me sad, and I start reflecting on whether there is something I didn't write well again.

Fortunately, you are still tolerant; the vast majority of comments are very friendly, and seeing the new comments every day is also the motivation for me to keep writing.

Love you guys~ Eww, so disgusting (crossed out)

Finally, I would also like to thank my editor, Camel; he really, I'm dying of gratitude.

I've never seen such a thoughtful editor. Although it's not very nice to say this, my previous editors didn't pay any attention to me. 【Maybe it's because my results were too bad?】 (Cross out this whole line) Last of all, you must, you must subscribe! As long as the average subscription doesn't reach the point where I'll starve to death, I will definitely work hard to finish the book!

The completed word counts of my previous books are proof!

That's all.
