Chapter 572

In the film market, after eating the last weekend's bonus, Guangxian's 'Badges of Fury' was taken off the screen, with a final box office of 418 million.

According to the sharing ratio, the revenue belonging to the production party is at least over 160 million. Even after deducting production and promotion costs, the net profit of 'Badges of Fury' is also over 100 million.

Except for 'So Young', it is considered the single largest profit for Guangxian in recent years, so Old Wang's invitation for the celebration banquet has been sent throughout the industry.

And 'Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon' gained another 183 million in the new week, and the box office reached 592 million, still maintaining a high level of 20 million per day.

There are still nearly two weeks before it is taken off the screen, plus there are almost no opponents in the same slot. The industry has a premonition that the probability of 'Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon' breaking 800 million is very high.

The most regrettable thing is that 'Blind Detective' by Chow Yun-fat, after more than half a month of reputation fermentation, has been accepted by the audience.

It's a pity that by now, it's really too late. Those cut screenings can't come back.

Other competitors also won't give it a chance to turn the tables.

Currently, although the film has not been taken off the screen, in media reports, this film has already been covered with a coffin.

"Affected by 'Switch', 'Blind Detective' has been released for 18 days, with a total box office of 187 million, a daily box office of less than 500,000, and losses have become a foregone conclusion."

"Chow Yun-fat apologized to the 'Blind Detective' crew again, saying that he will choose scripts more carefully in the future..."

I have to say, Chow Yun-fat practiced what he preached and gave actors in the industry a vivid lesson.

In the future, will stars in the entertainment industry consider more when taking plays? However, seeing this news reminded Wei Jin that he had promised a script to Brother Hua when he was in Venice.

"Just right, it's time..."

After muttering, Wei Jin took out his mobile phone and dialed it. After ringing twice, the phone was connected.

"Hello, Brother Hua?"

"Director Wei?"

Chow Yun-fat at the other end of the phone was a bit surprised, because when the news of the Venice shortlist came out a few days ago, the two had just sent messages and chatted a few words.

Calling again at this moment, Wei Jin didn't know Chow Yun-fat's inner OS, and went straight to the point to inform him of the 'Lost and Love' project.

The director of this play has already chosen Wen Muye, who is unknown in the circle. If you want to maximize social attention and help those families, you still have to use some big-name actors.

As expected, after listening, Chow Yun-fat didn't mind at all that it was a new director, and stated on the spot that he was willing to perform for 0 salary.

"Director Wei, don't worry, I will fully cooperate with the crew's filming plan and also carefully understand the role. In addition, thank you Director Wei, thank you for still thinking of me until now..."

Wei Jin could hear that Chow Yun-fat's tone was a bit excited, perhaps because he had seen the warmth and coldness of human relationships during this period.

So he smiled and comforted him a few words, and then chatted for a while before hanging up the phone.

As for the subsequent connection, the company will naturally have someone responsible.

Chow Yun-fat's efficiency was very high. The next day, he arranged for a team to come to connect, and signed the agreement in the afternoon.

On the official website of Shanhe Media, the news was released immediately.

"Welcome Chow Yun-fat to join Director Wen Muye's new film 'Lost and Love'."

Honestly, because this 'Lost and Love' project is a new director, whether it is production parties in the circle or star artists, very few people came to inquire about the news.

It can be counted as the project that has received the coldest treatment since Shanhe Media.

And with the announcement of this news, the circle suddenly became lively.

After all, even if Chow Yun-fat is down and out, he is still the status of one of the Four Heavenly Kings. Being able to partner with him is definitely raising one's status.

"Senior Brother, from last night to now, I have received many resumes..."

The smile on Wen Muye's face could not be hidden. A graduation work, being able to have such a big star join, and even the vast majority of second-tier actors in the circle can be picked at will, this treatment is really too good.

"Hehe, after this film is released, you have to get used to this kind of thing."

Wei Jin taught experience with a smile, and Wen Muye just smiled shyly, then handed over a piece of information.

"By the way, Senior Brother, I have finished the storyboard script, please give me some guidance..."

"Hmm, is the budget out?"

While flipping through, Wei Jin asked.

Wen Muye is directing a feature film for the first time, and it is a graduation work, so he does everything himself and does it very carefully.

Naturally, the efficiency is not high.

"Hmm, without including actor costs, 10 million can be done."

"Hmm... add another 10 million to the budget. You can't have no salary. In addition, when the crew builds the frame, I will arrange for Chen Xi to be responsible. Don't have pressure."

Wen Muye was overjoyed. With a budget of 20 million and Chen Xi as producer, what else is there to say? Just do it.

"Okay, then thank you, Senior Brother."

"Hmm, go get busy."

It's a coincidence that not long after Wen Muye left, Lu Yang knocked on the door and came in.

Looking at this guy, Wei Jin teased with a smile: "Yo, busy man, did you get it done over there?"

"Hehe, Senior Brother, good things are not in being busy..."

Lu Yang scratched his head, a bit embarrassed. Invitation-based audition, it took nearly half a month to get it done. Anyone would suspect that he was grinding foreign work.

However, he is a funny guy after all. He quickly adjusted his mentality and handed over a piece of information, "Senior Brother, fresh list, take a look."

Wei Jin didn't say much, took the list and glanced at it.

As expected, invitation-based audition, basically all acquaintances.

Except for the male lead Wu Yue, Jin Shijie, Zhou Yiwei, Zhang Songwen, and even Zhang Yu were among them. It was just that seeing the little girl for the female lead, Wei Jin was a bit surprised.

"Why did you choose Zhao Jinmai? I remember you invited Zhang Zifeng?"

Lu Yang shrugged, the expression on his face had a bit of helplessness.

"Senior Brother, I didn't expect that the girl grew so fast this year, over 1.5 meters, indeed not very suitable for this role, so I had to change one, which delayed a lot of time."

Wei Jin was in a trance. This little girl who hadn't grown in height for several years is now grown up? "Also, she is 13 years old."

"Hmm, just considering this point, I chose Zhao Jinmai who is smaller. This girl's big eyes look pitiful, which fits the positioning of the role, and she is young, and her performance is quite spiritual..."

Wei Jin nodded. Zhao Jinmai, born in 2002, although she is not even 11 years old now, she has already participated in TV dramas.

Among the post-00s actresses, Zhao Jinmai is considered to have quite good acting skills. I think she shouldn't be bad when she was young.

"Okay, let's decide on the roles like this. Is the specific filming schedule done?"

"Senior Brother, it has been arranged. I plan to start filming at the beginning of next month. This play needs more big scenes. China Film Group has already coordinated with the Beijing Film Studio. When the time comes, the specific equestrian team will be in place.

In addition, the location part has also been coordinated and communicated with the local departments. It's just that the filming cycle this time may be a bit longer, at least three months or more..."

Wei Jin nodded. The opening of this script is a big-scene war scene. This kind of play is not easy to film, and the coordination work in all aspects is very testing of ability.

However, Lu Yang has the experience of filming 'Brotherhood of Blades' with himself in Meng Province back then. Although he can't be said to be good at it, relying on the company's professional team and the coordination assistance of China Film Group, it is not a big problem to control it.

"Okay, then let's arrange it like this."

Wei Jin didn't intend to attend the celebration banquet of 'Badges of Fury'. After all, the company didn't have investment shares.

How could it be that Wang Changtian specially called to invite him warmly.

Considering that the female lead, second female lead, and even the third female lead of this film are all his women, it would be unreasonable not to show support, so Wei Jin could only nod and agree.

This time Old Wang was rarely generous once. The specification of the celebration banquet was quite high, and it was actually set at the Imperial Hotel.

However, what was unexpected for Wei Jin was that he thought he was just coming to eat and drink, and by the way, communicate acting skills with several heroines at night. Unexpectedly, Old Wang actually asked about 'Outcast'.

"Old Brother, how did you know?" Wei Jin asked back subconsciously.

"You don't know? Chen Jinfei established a new film and television company, and has been looking for partners for this play these two days. He brought people over to find me this afternoon."

Speaking of this, Wang Changtian quietly narrowed the distance a little, "But I heard the wind, you and Yifei refused before? Is it true?"

Wei Jin found it hard to answer this. After all, he is Liu Yifei's godfather. It's one thing not to invest, but to stir up other people's things and leak the wind, the little girl might feel uncomfortable being caught in the middle.

So after pondering, Wei Jin threw the question back.

"Then I don't know how you consider it yourself, Old Brother?"

"Uh... honestly, co-productions are very tempting, and I am also moved. But the circle has not been pitted less in these years, and Chen Jinfei's performance is too eager. Can a good project leak until now?"

Hearing this, Wei Jin understood that Old Wang actually already had a judgment. The reason he came to ask him was also to cut off the last trace of fluke psychology.

I have to say, Chen Jinfei's timing was chosen too poorly.

The corpse of 'Tai Chi Hero' is still warm. It's been more than ten days, and the box office is only over 20 million. The two major production parties, China Film Group and Wanda, don't even want to guarantee the screening, completely letting it fend for itself.

It is estimated that when it is finally taken off the screen, the box office will not change much. Compared with the 150 million investment, it is definitely a loss to the grandmother's house. Who in the circle doesn't have to be cautious? Thinking of this, Wei Jin had no psychological burden.

"Hmm, I refused to invest before, and Yifei also pushed the female lead. As for the reason, President Wang's analysis just now is already very in place."

I saw Wang Changtian sigh, with a sense of relief after getting the answer, and some inexplicable disappointment.

"Okay, Little Brother, I know. Thank you for this."

"Old Brother, don't spread this matter."

Hearing this, Old Wang became energetic, "Don't worry, Little Brother, my mouth is very tight. Besides, I wish other companies would be tricked, haha."

"..."

Wei Jin could only shake his head. Compared with these old rivers and lakes, he is indeed as pure as a white lotus.

It's just that I don't know which companies will be fooled this time? After the celebration banquet, Wei Jin took Zhang Tianai, Jiang Shuying, and Wang Zixuan to Golden House No. 9 to play mahjong.

Currently, except for the Yanjiao Villa renovated by several assistants, only the bed here is relatively large, and it can be unfolded.

Perhaps it was because they cooperated on a film, the cooperation of the three women tonight was quite good.

Zhang Tianai and Jiang Shuying also each revealed their advantages, using slender and smooth beautiful legs to do a full-body relaxation SPA for Wei Jin.

While enjoying the ultimate service, Wei Jin was also using his hand skills, and was chatting with the three beauties.

"Xiao Ying, 'Sisters Over Flowers' is about to start recording in a few days. Tianai has no experience, you take her with you when the time comes."

With the experience of 'Divas Hit the Road', the preparation work for this variety show is much simpler, and the most time-consuming thing is the selection of guests.

Finally, Jia Jingwen, Jiang Shuying, Zhang Tianai, Yang Zi, Song Qian, and Ada Choi were selected.

Basically, they are all related households. Even Ada Choi, because of the relationship between Zhang Jin and Jiang Xuerou, happened to need such a Hong Kong representative.

The only exception, Song Qian, also entered the vision of the program group relying on the popularity of the f(x) combination.

As for the male guests, they looked plain, one is the company artist Cheng Yi, and the other is Hu Xia.

Mainly because there are not many male artists of appropriate age in the company. Li Xian and Bai Yu all have acting contracts on them.

Hu Xia is a Guangxian artist, which is considered to give Old Wang a face, reciprocating courtesy.
