Chapter 388
Pushing through the crowd, the Principal led the way, and no one dared to provoke him.
Fang Hong and Liu Tianxian arrived at the women's restroom door; the restroom was spotless, with marble flooring and a glittering gold ceiling, luxurious and upscale.
The restroom in a luxury hotel really is different.
Inside, a woman stood at the sink, applying makeup in front of the mirror and fixing her hair.
This made it hard for Fang Hong to go in.
The two stood at the entrance; the restroom was open-plan. Fang Hong glanced inside: "You go in. I'll wait here."
"How am I supposed to do this alone? My zipper is at the back," Liu Tianxian said, glancing inside and clutching her chest.
She was wearing a dress—take it off and the whole thing would collapse, leaving her completely naked, needing someone to hold her up.
And the zipper was hidden at the back; she couldn't manage it by herself.
Girls' clothes are so weird.
"This is the women's restroom! You're not seriously asking me to go in there!" Fang Hong whispered, his tone sharp.
Liu Tianxian thought for a moment: "How about this—I go in first, and when she leaves, you rush in quickly."
"If anyone finds out, my entire reputation will be ruined—I might end up nailed to the pillory of shame," Fang Hong said, eyeing her suspiciously.
If this got out, he'd be cursed to death by every little fairy online, mocked for life, never able to hold his head up again.
"Oh don't worry, once she's gone, you rush in—no one will notice."
Liu Tianxian truly didn't mind stirring up trouble; she glanced at both ends of the corridor: "Besides, there aren't many people around now."
"It still feels wrong!" Fang Hong hesitated.
"Just sacrifice for me, baby," Liu Tianxian leaned close, whispering the last three words with saccharine sweetness.
Fang Hong couldn't resist—he nodded in agreement.
Liu Tianxian beamed: "Remember to come in. If you don't, I'll be trapped inside."
"I know," Fang Hong gestured for her to go in.
Liu Tianxian returned to her usual demeanor, striding confidently into the women's restroom as if nothing were amiss.
He was genuinely impressed—she wasn't fazed at all, acting perfectly calm.
"Tianxian, hello," Yi Nengjing spotted Liu Tianxian in the mirror, turned around, and greeted her warmly.
She wasn't very close to Liu Tianxian—they only became close during the filming of the movie "Tong Que Tai" in a past life.
But Liu Tianxian never acted in "Tong Que Tai," so they were merely acquainted.
"Hello, Sister Yi," Liu Tianxian smiled, appearing relaxed and easygoing.
"This gown looks stunning on you—what designer brand is it?" Yi Nengjing began chatting about women's topics.
"Dior," Liu Tianxian replied, uninterested in conversation.
"I sometimes buy this brand too. I heard you're dating—your boyfriend is the Principal," Yi Nengjing pressed on, eager to chat.
She didn't sense Liu Tianxian's lack of interest.
"Yes, he's waiting outside for me," Liu Tianxian said outright—after all, he'd be visible when she came out.
"He's so thoughtful—comes to guard you even at the restroom," Yi Nengjing laughed.
"Mm, he's always very caring," Liu Tianxian said, wanting to end the conversation—this woman talked too much. Normally, she'd chat until the heavens collapsed and the seas dried up, but not now.
Now she had something to deal with.
She pointed to the stall: "I'll go in now."
"Go ahead!" Yi Nengjing knew she was there to use the restroom, then turned back to the mirror, applying lipstick to her lips.
This woman was already in her forties or fifties—about the same age as Fang Hong's mother—and still so vain. Fang Hong was already decades old, yet she still looked as beautiful as ever.
Liu Tianxian turned, noticing she showed no sign of leaving, and thought of how to help Fang Hong.
"Oh, by the way," Liu Tianxian suddenly turned back.
"What is it?" Yi Nengjing turned to face her, puzzled.
Liu Tianxian paused: "I just came from the banquet hall—I think I heard someone calling your name."
"Huh? Really?" Yi Nengjing was surprised.
"Probably. I didn't catch clearly—the place was noisy," Liu Tianxian replied vaguely.
If Yi Nengjing came looking later, she could say she hadn't heard clearly.
"Oh, I should go check—probably something urgent," Yi Nengjing put her lipstick back in her makeup bag: "Thanks, Tianxian."
"You're welcome."
Lying to someone and receiving their gratitude still made Liu Tianxian feel a twinge of guilt.
Yi Nengjing zipped up her makeup bag and walked out, bumping right into the Principal, who was staring blankly at the ceiling.
He even pretended to stroke his chin, as if deep in thought, not noticing her at all.
"Principal, waiting for Tianxian?" Yi Nengjing remained cheerful.
"Mm, yeah," Fang Hong replied vaguely.
In both his past and present lives, spanning decades, this was the first time he'd ever had to enter a women's restroom—it made him feel awkward.
"She'll be out soon," Yi Nengjing didn't suspect a thing—Liu Tianxian had already prepared him.
"Mm," Fang Hong mumbled.
Yi Nengjing said no more, sensing the Principal had no interest in her—his indifference was unmistakable.
Liu Tianxian didn't feel it, but Fang Hong's indifference was crystal clear—they were fundamentally different. Liu Tianxian could chat amiably with anyone, even if she disliked them, never offending or ignoring; Fang Hong simply didn't bother to hide his apathy.
Whoever you were, if you weren't better than him, he wouldn't give you the time of day.
Once the woman was far enough away, Fang Hong sneaked into the restroom, heading straight for the farthest stall—Liu Tianxian had just texted him that the door wasn't locked.
Just as he reached for the door, the stall at the far end opened—Jing Tian lowered her dress, smoothed it out, and looked up, her large eyes filled with shock.
Fang Hong looked at her, at a loss, silently cursing Liu Tianxian in his heart: Fuck, you've doomed me.
The two stared at each other for several seconds, then Fang Hong forced out what he thought was a charming smile: "I say I got the wrong bathroom—do you believe me?"
"I believe you," Jing Tian nodded dully.
"Then what if I told you I'm a girl—do you believe that?" Fang Hong asked again.
"I don't believe it," Jing Tian shook her head.
"Then I'll tell you a secret: I really am a girl, and I didn't enter the wrong restroom," Fang Hong lied outright, silently mourning himself.
Oh my God! What is even happening?
Jing Tian's eyes widened further, her expression one of utter disbelief—what had she just heard?
"Please don't tell anyone. Keep this secret for me, okay?" Fang Hong pleaded sincerely.
Jing Tian didn't say yes or no; her mind was completely blank, like mush. This revelation was too hard to process, and she didn't know how to respond.
What is wrong with this world? How could something so absurd happen? The Principal is a woman—and she has to use the women's restroom.
Fang Hong stopped caring about her. Staying here any longer might attract more people, making things even harder to explain. He pulled open the bathroom door and stepped inside, then locked it.
"Why so long?" Liu Tianxian whispered.
The two were pressed close, because the restroom was single-occupancy and the space was small.
"Someone was outside. I was seen," Fang Hong said.
"Huh?! Who?" Liu Tianxian exclaimed.
"Forget who. I've lost all face. Just end it. I'm tired," Fang Hong sighed, looking utterly defeated.
He'd never been this humiliated in two lifetimes. Absolutely unbearable.
"Oh come on! I'm here for you,"
Liu Tianxian cupped his face and turned it toward her: "Even if the whole world doesn't believe you, I still believe you."
"You're the best."
Fang Hong felt slightly comforted, then added: "It's probably because of you."
"Don't worry about that. Help me take off my dress—there's a zipper at the back. Pull it down," Liu Tianxian turned her back, pushing her hair forward.
She wore a strapless, off-shoulder gown; her back was smooth and pale, and the necklace around her neck gleamed brightly, glaringly obvious.
Fang Hong searched for the zipper but couldn't find it. He ran his hand over the fabric: "Where is it? It doesn't seem to be there."
"Right in the middle. It's hidden," Liu Tianxian reached behind and pointed: "Here."
Fang Hong followed the spot, flipped back a small piece of fabric, and spotted the concealed zipper pull. He tugged it down with a "sssslick."
More of her back skin was exposed, soft and fleshy.
As the zipper descended, Liu Tianxian felt her dress slipping—she quickly clutched it, then turned to face the man.
Only now did she seem slightly shy: "Have you seen it before?"
"What?" Fang Hong was confused.
Liu Tianxian glanced down, her implication unmistakable.
This time Fang Hong was smart—he understood what she implied. He felt a surge of excitement and shook his head: "No."
"Really?" Liu Tianxian sounded a little shy.
Previously, they'd only touched through clothing—she'd never let him see.
"Really. Absolutely true," Fang Hong had never seen it—not since his rebirth.
"You're lying. You haven't watched porn?" Liu Tianxian's tone grew sharper.
"Of course I've watched porn—but I've never seen the real thing," Fang Hong said, hopeful, glancing again at her chest.
"Then you've seen it anyway," Liu Tianxian's tone softened again.
"Huh? Isn't it normal to have seen it? Not seeing it would be weird," Fang Hong said.
"All men are the same. Crows are black everywhere—you're all perverts," Liu Tianxian scolded again, her emotions fluctuating wildly.
"Sis, I'm here to help you. If you don't want me to look, I won't," Fang Hong sighed helplessly. What's with her now?
"Who's your sis?" Liu Tianxian instantly bristled.
"Click!" The sound of a door opening suddenly came from next door, followed by the sound of a door closing.
"Shh!"
Fang Hong signaled for her to be quiet.
If someone found a man and woman in here together, they'd think they were perverts having sex in the bathroom.
Even if it's common, rumors would be terrible.
Liu Tianxian fell silent, lips pressed tight. The noise from the next stall had stopped, but the person was probably still there—they needed to use the restroom too.
Neither dared make a sound. The space grew quiet. Liu Tianxian's heart calmed slightly; she'd just had a sudden fit of madness.
She looked at the man before her, his expression calm, and leaned her head against his chest.
