Chapter 556: I Can Generate Power

~10 min read 1,878 words

Women act like goddesses, and men like to provoke the cheap ones, tease them, then can't beat them, so they run away, vanishing without a trace.

And Liu Tianxian found practicing alone boring, mainly because that man wasn't there nagging—she'd gotten used to him always blabbering beside her.

So she called Fang Hong back again!

"Wife, you won't hit me, right?" Fang Hong's head appeared at the door, wearing a grin.

She was bent over, arms propped on the soft carpet, body held in a plank position, her buttocks lifted high.

"I won't wash you." Liu Tianxian turned her head, glaring with a sweetly fierce expression.

"Hehehe."

Hearing that, Fang Hong wasn't afraid anymore; he walked back into the training room, glanced at her posture—her curves accentuated, her abdomen flat with defined abs.

"Hey, if I sat on you, could you hold up?" Fang Hong crouched down and asked.

"Definitely can't hold up." Liu Tianxian said.

"That's all you've got?" Fang Hong teased, placing his hand on her butt and squeezing.

"That's all I've got—you do it if you're so good." Liu Tianxian replied.

"Let me tell you, I'm just held back by my career—if not, there'd be no bodybuilding champions at all. With your pose, I could hold up two." Fang Hong bragged.

"Can you stop bragging?" Liu Tianxian laughed.

Fang Hong smiled, stood up, swung one leg over her body, looking down at her—any move to sit down would land him right on Liu Tianxian.

"Hey, let me test your strength by sitting on you." he said.

"Don't you dare be cheap—I can't hold you up." Liu Tianxian's tone grew sharper.

She could manage her own training fine, but holding up a person? Impossible.

"I won't use force." Fang Hong slowly lowered himself, settling onto her soft, rounded buttocks.

Liu Tianxian glanced back at him, felt no weight—he must've been supporting himself.

"How's it? Isn't it easy?" Fang Hong stayed half-crouched, not pressing his full weight down, just barely touching her.

"Just don't press down—I can't hold you if you do." Liu Tianxian felt no pressure.

"No problem—want to take a photo to show off? To your mom, your bestie, your fans—even better: 'Wow, Liu Tianxian's so strong, she can hold up a man in a plank!'—you'd get tons of admirers." Fang Hong exaggerated.

"Sure, sure." Liu Tianxian laughed.

Fang Hong pulled out his phone, raised it high, and took a selfie of them in that pose.

"Don't post it anywhere—just send it to me." Liu Tianxian feared he'd leak it publicly—it was an intimate photo between them.

Posting it for fans? She'd never considered it—maybe just showing it to her mom.

Fang Hong put away his phone, suddenly relaxed his body, letting all his weight crush onto Liu Tianxian.

Liu Tianxian let out a startled "Ah!" and collapsed face-first onto the mat.

"You're trying to kill me!" Liu Tianxian flipped over, pinning him beneath her, straddling his stomach, and slapped his face several times.

The slaps were light—more like caresses—no force applied.

"Do you believe I can lift you up?" Fang Hong lay flat on the mat, gazing up at her.

"Really? Go ahead and lift." Liu Tianxian settled properly.

Fang Hong tensed his waist and abdomen, held his breath, and lifted Liu Tianxian up.

This required full-body effort—completely different from her earlier plank hold.

"Wow, husband, you're amazing!" Liu Tianxian, thrilled at being lifted, clapped twice with delight.

Liu Tianxian wasn't heavy now—around fifty kilograms—lifting her was possible, just not sustainable.

"Huh!" Fang Hong exhaled, and his body collapsed downward.

"Again! Again!" Liu Tianxian was having fun.

"Hey!" Fang Hong tensed his waist and abdomen again, lifting Liu Tianxian once more, his face flushed red as if straining hard.

Still, he had to show off, puffing out his chest: "Better than you, right?"

"Yes! Husband, you're awesome!" Liu Tianxian clapped, straddling his stomach, legs dangling in midair.

As soon as she finished speaking, Fang Hong seemed to collapse—his strength gone, like a deflated balloon.

"Again! Again!" Liu Tianxian urged again.

"No more—I'm exhausted." Fang Hong breathed heavily, utterly spent.

"Come on, come on." Liu Tianxian leaned down and kissed him, to encourage him.

"Hrrr!" Fang Hong seemed to draw new strength, tensed his waist and abdomen, and lifted Liu Tianxian up once more.

"Yes! Yes! Husband, I admire you so much!" Liu Tianxian beamed with joy.

Then Fang Hong deflated again, collapsing downward.

"Again! Again!" Liu Tianxian wanted more.

"I really can't—I need to rest." Fang Hong waved his hand, breathing heavily, chest heaving.

"Alright, I'll let you rest." Liu Tianxian was understanding; she knew he was tired.

Outside of bed, it was hard to get this man to exert himself.

Fang Hong lay resting, his chest rising and falling gently.

Liu Tianxian stood up, walked over, picked up a dumbbell, and lifted it—once his strength was drained, he'd have no energy left to tease her.

"Hey, earlier Universal said they'd buy the rights to a few films—what's the update?" she asked.

"We bought them all. Easy deal—it's extra income for them. Universal paid eight million U. S. dollars total; they don't care about this much." Fang Hong replied.

Not every film cost two million dollars—some were only five or six hundred thousand—cheap as dirt. Donna was just being polite, paying a little to earn goodwill. Most of those films had no market overseas—maybe only Xiu Chun Dao had decent quality; Southeast Asia had a certain mystical fascination with Chinese wuxia, so it had some market.

The other films had no market at all.

"Sometimes I think you don't act like a capitalist." Liu Tianxian breathed lightly, holding the dumbbell, her biceps flexing intermittently.

At first, I thought this man was obsessed with money, constantly chasing it; now that his business has grown larger, I've realized he's becoming less interested in money.

The richer he gets, the less he cares for money—he wants to give it away.

"Listen, you told me to build an industry—I can definitely build real products; content is also a product."

But if you ask me to run a company like Meituan or a delivery service, I'd definitely go bankrupt—even if I were the most brilliant, I'd still fail, because I can't bring myself to exploit ordinary people."

Fang Hong sat up and chatted with her.

Companies like Meituan and Ele. me use Big Data to calculate delivery times down to the second, and impose all sorts of fines.

Fang Hong couldn't do such things—if he ran Meituan, he'd raise the pay for ordinary couriers and loosen time limits, but then the user experience would vanish.

So if he tried to run a Big Data platform like that, he'd inevitably lose to competitors and go bankrupt.

This has nothing to do with being a prophet—it's simply that he can't be as ruthless as a true capitalist; in fact, like Liu Tianxian, he can't bear to see the suffering of ordinary people.

"Then you deserve praise."

Liu Tianxian praised him and added: "A person must have principles—we won't do anything against our conscience, and we won't earn money that violates our conscience."

"My wife is right," Fang Hong nodded.

"Then what about your earlier plan to acquire Bona? What are you going to do?" Liu Tianxian, drenched in sweat, was doing pull-ups in front of a fitness machine.

She breathed steadily as she worked, keeping her rhythm.

"I think Zhang Hongsen won't agree to Yutu acquiring Bona—I'll need to find another entity or individual to make the purchase."

Fang Hong had previously probed Zhang Hongsen's views—he opposed merging two film companies with identical businesses.

He thought for a moment and added: "What if your mother makes the acquisition?"

"Huh?!" Liu Tianxian gasped, jumping off the machine: "You want her to acquire Bona?"

"Yes—your mother probably still owns other companies. I'll negotiate everything directly, then use her company's name for the acquisition. The money's already in your hands; we just route it through her company."

The negotiations were already settled, the acquisition funds were in Liu Tianxian's possession—the only missing piece was the legal name/title.

After all, Liu Xiaoli has no real connection to Fang Hong; though she's called his mother-in-law, that's a matter of familial morality, not legal identity.

In other words, Liu Xiaoli is Liu Xiaoli, Fang Hong is Fang Hong—they're not on the same household registration, and they have no financial entanglements.

Liu Tianxian can't be used—she's his wife, and their relationship is legally verifiable.

"Would that work?" Liu Tianxian was surprised.

"Try it. Your mother is an individual, and she has nothing to do with Yutu," Fang Hong said.

"I'll talk to her and see what she says," Liu Tianxian agreed—it seemed feasible, but she didn't know how her mother would react.

She assumed her mother would agree—it wouldn't require any effort from her, just a free company.

Her and Fang Hong's only goal was to resolve the problem.

"This isn't urgent—we can take our time. Such a massive transaction can't be settled with just a few words," Fang Hong suddenly stood up, walked to her, and looked at her.

"That's true," Liu Tianxian nodded, watching him approach. "Why are you staring at me like that? Has your strength returned?"

"I never expended any strength—there's nothing to recover," Fang Hong looked at her forehead and the sweat tracing down her pale skin; to a man, this was an allure. He stepped closer, wrapping his arms around her soft waist.

"You're boasting again," Liu Tianxian teased, tapping his nose.

"I'm not boasting—do you want to test it?" Fang Hong said nothing, lowered his head, inhaled the scent of sweat on her neck, then bit down.

"Ouch! What are you doing? That hurts!" Liu Tianxian pushed against his chest, feeling warmth on her neck.

Fang Hong suddenly lifted her off her feet, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Liu Tianxian cried out, "Ah!", quickly looping her arms around his neck to steady herself, then punched his chest playfully. "What are you doing? You scared me!"

"Want to exercise together?" Fang Hong whispered in her ear, adding a soft breath.

"No, I'm sweaty and stinky," Liu Tianxian blushed, understanding his intent—her voice softened, a tingling sensation spreading along her neck.

She had just finished exercising—her whole body was covered in sweat.

"You're not stinky—you smell sweet," Fang Hong carried her toward the bedroom, struggling slightly but managing easily.

"I still need a shower," Liu Tianxian said.

"No need. This is exactly how I like you—I feel full of energy," Fang Hong said without hesitation.

Liu Tianxian couldn't help smiling—he was exaggerating again—but she didn't dampen his confidence, choosing silence instead.

They entered a warm, luxurious bedroom. Fang Hong gently laid her on the bed and pulled off his long-sleeved T-shirt, leaning down.

The house had heating; both wore little, so they were neither cold nor hot.

"Wait, don't take it off yet—I'll do it," Fang Hong reached out to stop her.

"Don't you feel sticky?" Liu Tianxian paused, letting him take over.

"I don't feel sticky—I love it like this. I love you this way," Fang Hong slipped his hand inside her clothes.

"Pervert," Liu Tianxian murmured, her voice soft, as if already feeling something.

"Say that again—I'll punish you."
