Chapter 612

~9 min read 1,604 words

Fang Hong and Liu Tianxian paid no attention to public opinion; they had also remained out of sight during this time, hoping to let the storm pass.

Being too conspicuous feels like pouring oil on a fire.

But such a major event as their marriage couldn't go unannounced—hiding it would be meaningless.

They had already publicly announced their relationship before; getting married was only natural.

Many people accepted it; it's just that some media outlets love to stir up drama—they have traffic and exposure, so it's normal.

These past two days, both of them had been organizing their villa; though the furniture was new and in good condition, some ornaments, decorations, clothes, and jewelry still needed to be moved from their old home.

Xu Liyun had also moved in from the old villa, bringing Heizi along—this was a relocation, and she would certainly live with her son and daughter-in-law.

The moving was handled by a moving company.

Early that morning, Heizi jumped down from a black business vehicle, tongue lolling, tail wagging, and ran toward Liu Tianxian.

"Little Heizi, are you happy about the new home?" Liu Tianxian stroked its head, then crouched down, hugging its neck and nuzzling her face against its fur.

Soft and plump.

Heizi didn't understand what she was saying, but still lolling its tongue and wagging its tail—its actions were harmless, clearly it was very familiar with Liu Tianxian and recognized her as its master.

Heizi still looked mighty and imposing, standing up to Liu Tianxian's thighs; she was tall to begin with, with long legs.

It was late June, and Liu Tianxian wore a gauzy long dress, looking cool and pure.

Even in the morning, the weather was somewhat hot.

"Xixi, since we've moved to a new home, just cancel the lease on the old house—don't waste money," Xu Liyun assumed the old villa was rented,

and that the monthly rent was high—a significant annual expense, paid by her daughter-in-law.

"No need to cancel." Liu Tianxian stood up.

"No one's living there—just cancel it!" Xu Liyun said.

"Mom, I'll tell you a secret."

Liu Tianxian leaned close to Xu Liyun's ear, shielding her mouth with her hand: "That house was mine all along, so no need to cancel—don't tell Fang Hong, okay?"

"Yours? But wasn't it said to be rented?" Xu Liyun stared, stunned, as if trying to confirm something.

"Yes, mine!"

Liu Tianxian nodded her small head, offering an excuse: "I wanted to push Fang Hong to improve, so I pretended it was rented to pressure him."

Actually, back then they weren't close, so she had rented it to Fang Hong; later, when they became close and confirmed their relationship, she quietly took over the "rent."

But she had never said the villa was hers.

This needed to be clarified, so her mother-in-law wouldn't keep worrying—her mother-in-law was very frugal.

"Oh, I thought it was rented—I'm glad it's not. That saves money." Xu Liyun relaxed, showing little reaction to the news.

"Don't you feel I hid something from you?" Liu Tianxian looked at her.

"Not at all—the rent was always paid by you; not paying rent saves money. It's right to push Honghong to improve—men should carry a family. You did nothing wrong," Xu Liyun said logically.

Liu Tianxian smiled, leaning her head affectionately against her shoulder.

"Oh, by the way, tomorrow is the return visit—go pick up your mom and have her stay with us." Xu Liyun said.

"Okay, I'll tell her." Liu Tianxian nodded.

Liu Xiaoli had been staying at the old villa—the place Liu Tianxian used to live in.

"Are you hungry? I'll go cook for you."

Xu Liyun still did laundry and cooked for this family as usual; before, with Liu Tianxian gone, she came less often, and clothes weren't there anymore.

Now there was one more person, so more clothes—yet she had nothing else to do, and doing chores kept her from being bored.

After speaking, Xu Liyun glanced around, then looked inside the villa: "We've been chatting for so long and I haven't seen Honghong—where is he?"

"Still sleeping, hasn't gotten up yet—I'll go call him." Liu Tianxian said, then ran toward the villa.

Heizi, who had been lying on the ground, saw its mistress run off and got up to follow.

At the villa's living room, Liu Tianxian dashed up the stairs with "deng deng deng" steps; Heizi followed right behind.

At the bedroom door, Liu Tianxian turned the handle and entered; seeing Heizi trying to squeeze in, she kicked it out: "Single dogs don't belong in this room."

Poor Heizi, shut out, could only lie down at the door, waiting for its master to come out.

Liu Tianxian entered the bedroom, saw no one on the bed, and walked toward the bathroom—the door was half-open; she pushed it slightly and saw Fang Hong facing away from her.

He was urinating with a "huā lā lā" sound; she slowly approached and wrapped her arms around his waist from behind.

"Holy shit!"

It was sudden—Fang Hong was startled, his stream cut off mid-flow; recognizing her, he said: "Can you not scare people like that?"

"Who told you to leave the door unlocked?" Liu Tianxian hugged him.

"Hey," Fang Hong turned his head, looking at her so close, teasing: "Aren't you feeling mighty?"

"What?" Liu Tianxian didn't get it.

Fang Hong glanced downward—his meaning was obvious.

"You're so annoying!" Liu Tianxian instantly understood, bent her knee, and lightly nudged his butt.

That pushed Fang Hong forward, thrusting his hips.

But from Liu Tianxian's angle, she couldn't see it—Fang Hong's height blocked her view, unless she stood on tiptoe.

Fang Hong zipped up and fastened his belt, one arm around Liu Tianxian's shoulder: "Do you remember when we filmed 'Big Shot'?"

"Of course—I got beaten up so badly, I was scared every time I saw you after that," Liu Tianxian remembered clearly.

The movie couldn't find a suitable villain, so Fang Hong played the villain himself—he portrayed it so realistically, many people were terrified.

She played a female celebrity in it, with intense scenes with him, and she was scared stiff.

Back then, she was dazed and didn't speak to him for a long time—couldn't shake the role.

"I'm not talking about that—do you remember, when we filmed that movie, we were also in the bathroom, and you asked me to kiss your cheek, and I didn't?" Fang Hong said.

Hearing him say that, Liu Tianxian wore a thoughtful expression, recalling the events of long ago.

That incident was so long ago, and they had spent so much time together—many things wouldn't come to mind unless she thought hard.

But Liu Tianxian had an excellent memory; as long as she tried, she could remember: "I remember—it was when you played Young Master Zhao, smearing cake on my face, then I went to the bathroom to wash it off, and you handed me a towel. I asked you to kiss my cheek, and you said you didn't like charity—you preferred coercion."

"Yes, that was it. I didn't expect you'd remember the exact words." Fang Hong remembered the event, but not the precise dialogue.

"So what? You want to coerce me?" Liu Tianxian smiled at him.

"Let me kiss you." Fang Hong leaned toward her cheek, aiming to kiss her.

"No." Liu Tianxian pushed him away and turned to leave.

Fang Hong grabbed her, pinned her against the wall with a wall slam, and faced her.

Liu Tianxian wasn't angry; she met his gaze. Recalling the past stirred emotion. "Are we still the same as before?"

"We're different now. We've both changed," Fang Hong said.

"What's different?" Liu Tianxian asked.

"Our feelings are different. Our statuses are different. Don't you know love is like a car—you must drive it carefully, never race at high speed while ignoring the importance of fuel and brakes. On this road, both you and I must maintain balance, control our speed, and avoid collisions."

"On the highway of love, communication is the navigation system of driving," Fang Hong said.

Liu Tianxian thought about it—it made sense. They had once raced at high speed, relying solely on that navigation system of communication to get through.

And back then, their driving had been dangerously reckless.

"Want to drive?" Fang Hong grinned mischievously.

Liu Tianxian snapped back to reality, cooed an "Mm!" in a playful pout, blushing deeply, unsure whether to say yes or no.

"Mm!" Fang Hong mimicked her coquettish tone.

"You're such a rascal, copying me," Liu Tianxian pouted, her voice laced with seduction—rarely had he seen her like this.

Usually she was serious, or else lively and cute—but their relationship had reached this point.

Fang Hong kissed her cheek, slowly moving down to her neck.

His movements were gentle, slow, as if kissing a treasured treasure.

Liu Tianxian closed her eyes, savoring the man's tenderness. Moments ago, they'd just been playing, reenacting old scenes.

They'd done everything together—how could she deny him a kiss?

Fang Hong didn't stop; he lifted her long dress, revealing Liu Tianxian's pale, slender legs.

"Here?" Liu Tianxian pushed him away, knowing what he meant.

For the past few days, they'd done this several times a day—newly married, sweet as honey, brimming with affection, always craving closeness.

"Does it matter where?" Fang Hong said.

"Let's go to bed. I don't like it here," Liu Tianxian looked at him.

This unfamiliar place made her uncomfortable.

So they switched locations, moving to the bed. Fang Hong gently stroked her face and smiled: "I'm driving now."

"Don't forget to maintain the car afterward," Liu Tianxian giggled.
