Chapter 1713

Soon, Seeing Mu You ordered someone to grab an old cow at random.

After feeding it an elixir, Seeing Mu You and Sun Ming immediately began to observe the old cow's reaction.

At first, everything was normal; the old cow was strolling leisurely around the courtyard. But a quarter of an hour later, Sun Ming noticed something wrong. Why was this old cow posing like that all by itself in the yard?

There clearly wasn't a cow in sight, yet this creature was putting on a one-man show, and it looked quite satisfied, too.

You're just one cow, what the hell are you satisfied about?

"Sun Ming, look at this...?"

"Let's keep watching."

Still unsure, the two continued to observe. As time passed, the old cow's actions became increasingly bizarre, to the point where both men frowned deeply.

Finally, the two reached a conclusion: it was suffering from mental confusion and experiencing brief hallucinations.

It wasn't until late at night that the old cow returned to normal.

Seeing Mu You and Sun Ming then returned to the alchemy room.

"Looking at it this way, the side effect of this elixir is mental confusion that causes hallucinations, lasting for about a day."

"Hmm, that seems to be the case for now. So, Peak Master Mu, do you intend to have the disciples of the Dao One Holy Land take it?"

It wouldn't be life-threatening, and after the side effects wore off, the two had carefully examined the old cow's body and found no impact on its health.

However, during the period when the side effects erupted, heaven knows what might happen, and heaven knows what they might see.

Today, this old cow went crazy and nearly tore the courtyard apart. If Seeing Mu You hadn't shrouded the entire courtyard with spiritual power, who knows what the outcome would have been.

If the disciples of the Dao One Holy Land were to experience hallucinations when the time came, then...

So, hearing Sun Ming's words, Seeing Mu You couldn't make up his mind for a moment. The elixir had been successfully developed, and it could definitely break the poison techniques of the Undying Holy Land; this had already been tested.

After all, the original intention of developing this elixir was to deal with the Undying Holy Land.

Seeing Mu You and Sun Ming had studied all the poison techniques of the Undying Holy Land before they managed to refine this elixir.

As long as they took this elixir, the Undying Holy Land's poison techniques would be rendered useless, posing no threat whatsoever.

At that point, the Dao One Holy Land could also let loose and no longer fear the Undying Holy Land's poison techniques.

This was equivalent to directly crippling the Undying Holy Land's arts.

But now, this side effect...

After pondering for a long while and thinking it over, Seeing Mu You finally said in a deep voice.

"I cannot make this decision; I must ask Senior Brother for instructions."

"Hmm, then I will leave the rest to you, Peak Master Mu. I will head back now."

"Sun Ming, are you really not considering joining my Dao One Holy Land?"

"Forget it, I'm not suited for it."

Seeing Mu You truly liked Sun Ming, but the guy had no interest in it.

The next day, Seeing Mu You found Facing Qi Xiong early in the morning. Facing Qi Xiong was in the courtyard eating breakfast—instant beef noodles, a type of dry ration that was a new product Ye Changqing had recently developed.

Watching Seeing Mu You stride over, Facing Qi Xiong asked curiously.

"Coming over so early, what's up?"

"Get me a bowl first."

"Get lost, don't you have your own?"

"I've succeeded in my research, I have a way. What, can't I even have a bowl of noodles?"

"Hmm??? You have a way to deal with the Undying Holy Land?"

"Sigh, I'm hungry. Maybe I'll have a solution once I'm full."

"You... fine, wait there."

After personally preparing a bowl of braised beef noodles for Seeing Mu You and the two of them finishing it comfortably, Facing Qi Xiong couldn't wait to ask.

"Speak quickly, what is the method?"
