Chapter 343: On the Release of the Book

On the Release of the Book

This is my first time going live; as a newcomer, I don’t even know what to write.

Okay okay, stop hitting, don’t hit my face!

The author is an old hand.

This is the author’s sixth book to officially go live.

This book was prepared in a rush because it lost out in competition among several of my ideas.

I originally submitted “The Actor Doesn’t Want to Be Big Brother.”

Unfortunately, what goes around comes around.

Big Brother was eliminated before even taking the throne.

Only then did the concept of a misaligned system get its chance.

Big Brother was eliminated around ten at night; I stayed up all night drafting the setting and replaced his chapters with new content the next morning.

I have to say, its luck was truly good!

This last-minute change of commander directly resulted in this book having no backup drafts.

I have to conceive and write simultaneously.

Perhaps it’s only when you lose something that you learn to cherish it; what you can’t have always stirs unrest—I keep missing my Big Brother.

Fortunately, “Becoming a Movie Star” has performed very well.

Editor Qilin encouraged me constantly, telling me to write well, forget Big Brother, and let him fade away with the wind.

Thank you, Editor Qilin, and thank you to all the readers for your support.

No matter what happens or what setbacks I face, knowing my loyal readers are behind me always fills me with strength.

I hope this new book continues to earn your support.

Thank you sincerely.

Regarding the release—

The book goes live at midnight on December 1st, meaning after tonight’s 12 a.m.

This book is expected to be around two to three million characters, roughly a thousand chapters plus a few.

Regarding bonus chapters—

A patronage adds two chapters.

For first-subscription bonuses: if first-subscription exceeds four thousand, add one chapter for every additional hundred; I’ll report the results later.

For monthly ticket bonuses: after release, add one chapter for every three hundred monthly tickets, until month-end.

Regarding updates—

At midnight on launch day, I’ll post two chapters, then two more later, totaling no less than ten thousand characters.

Mainly because I have no backup drafts—all written on the spot—and during the new-book phase, I’ve been constantly refining, so I haven’t saved any drafts.

Please understand.

Going forward, two chapters daily as minimum; I’ll make up one to three missing chapters each day.

If you think the word count is too low, you can enable auto-subscription; after so many years, I’ve never cheated readers by posting random content for money.

My reputation, built over six books, asks for your support and encouragement!!!
