Chapter 93: Player Forum

After going offline, Chen Shicheng opened his eyes, immediately grabbed his phone and logged into the official website of Mountains and Seas Deification that was still listed on the search site.

After opening it, at the top there was an option called "Shanhai Forum."

Clicked, entered.

A subpage popped up.

【Please select language.】

The first option on the first login was the native‑language selection, alphabetically ordered; this sentence had been translated into every language in the world and displayed in a neat row on the screen for players to choose.

"I have no idea if foreign players have a cultivation background; if they do, Chinese proficiency tests will become interesting later."

Chen Shicheng couldn't help laughing out loud and directly clicked the Chinese option.

Then a forum description interface popped up.

【Mountains and Seas Deification Forum Explanation.】

【1. The forum was created solely to provide all players a platform for communication and trading; non‑players cannot register.】

【2. After registration, all players' data and information are fully encrypted and cannot be tracked or investigated by any technological or supernatural means; please use with confidence.】

【3. When trading on the forum, the platform takes no fee; currencies of all nations are exchanged at real‑time rates, and after the transaction the funds enter the account in an absolutely secure manner.】

【4. The current version of the forum temporarily does not support physical goods or in‑game currency trading; please look forward to future versions.】

Chen Shicheng fully believed the confidentiality described in the forum explanation; the future is still uncertain, but given the current situation no one could successfully breach it by any means, which greatly reduces his concerns.

He nodded and clicked the registration button beside him.

No verification process appeared; the game seemed to confirm his identity in a way he could not understand and directly indicated that registration was complete.

【Please enter a forum ID.】

Chen Shicheng thought for a moment, then entered a jumble of random characters; although he did not know whether anyone could infer his identity from the name, it was wiser to be cautious and minimize any risk.

After clicking the confirm button, the ID registration succeeded and the page turned into the forum.

Displayed on the phone was an extremely bustling forum page, densely filled with players' posts.

At the top were two options, "Domestic Forum" and "International Forum"; he was currently on "Domestic Forum."

Below those two options were four sub‑sections: "Chat", "News", "Guides", and "Trading."

Chen Shicheng looked at the options, clicked into the "Chat" page in order, and upon entering saw a heap of chaotic posts.

"Location Shanghai, just pulled a Treasure‑level sword from the game, pictures and proof, 200 available, face‑to‑face."

"Damn, bought a house in the game as a respawn point, but it's haunted; does anyone know how to damage spirit‑type monsters?"

"Exclusive news! Supposedly a new underground palace opened near Huangchi County recently, and inside they found the #39 ranking Yin Blood Tai Sui on the World Spirit Medicine Ranking!"

Before scrolling many posts, a familiar name appeared; Chen Shicheng quickly clicked to check. "Yin Blood Tai Sui? Real or fake? OP, please elaborate."

"I know that; apparently the underground palace was booked exclusively by the Cultural Tourism Bureau Logistics Department. What? An accident?"

"Exactly, it's said that during the scramble for the Yin Blood Tai Sui, an unidentified player intervened, which eventually attracted the Silent Council's Bai Paoren; who ultimately claimed the Yin Blood Tai Sui is unknown."

"Did members of the Silent Council seize the Cultural Tourism Bureau Logistics Department's Yin Blood Tai Sui?"

"Whoa, the Silent Council showed up? No wonder the Logistics Department can't beat you; do you think the two will clash? I feel the Logistics Department might not handle that big one."

"What do you know? The Logistics Department is only a lower‑level unit in the national structure; the Blood-Red Great Wall sits above it. Moreover, to fight you'd first need to know where the Silent Council members are; that organization is so mysterious it might be untraceable."

"Looking for a place, female, 18, supple waist, easy to be overpowered, seeking a senior for CP."

Chen Shicheng skimmed all the replies; among over seven hundred threads, the vast majority were netizens bragging, and only the top few contained useful information.

Among them, the name Silent Council caught his strong attention.

After all, in the underground palace, Yu Wei used an unknown method to summon the Bai Paoren's primordial spirit to save the situation, which means Shuigu Tang's speculation was true; even if Yu Wei is not a peripheral member of the Silent Council, he definitely has a deep connection with that organization.

"Yu Wei, Silent Council."

Chen Shicheng muttered those two names for a while, frowned, and typed "Silent Council" into the search box.

In post titles and replies, there were many mentions of this name, but without exception they were all casual chatter with no concrete details, perfectly matching the mysterious organization's style.

In the search results, one entry topped the list, its title followed by a fire character.

Chen Shicheng clicked out of curiosity and discovered it was a bounty post titled "Silent Council Bounty List."

The first bounty entry there shocked him with the audacity of this organization.

【Bounty: any member of the Blood-Red Great Wall—kill once in‑game for a 5 million reward, a real‑world kill reward of 100 million, plus a Taigu Relic.】

Damn, this Silent Council can already be called a KB faction; they even dare to place bounties on members of a national organization.

Chen Shicheng, still shocked, kept scrolling and then realized the organization was beyond a KB faction, truly anti‑human; not only China's Blood-Red Great Wall but also top foreign organizations appeared on the bounty list, as if they intended to confront the whole world alone.

Moreover, besides those organizations there were some personal bounties; although he barely recognized those IDs, they could be guessed, and any player who could attract a Silent Council bounty was certainly not ordinary.

Chen Shicheng was flipping through when he suddenly froze; among those personal bounties he found a familiar name.

"Shuigu Tang, female, appearance unknown, 50 million bounty, plus a Treasure‑level equipment, live capture."

"How did this person offend the Silent Council? The bounty is only one tier lower than that for the Blood-Red Great Wall members?"

Chen Shicheng looked at the bounty with puzzlement, then suddenly had a flash of insight, "Whoa, Shuigu Tang made the list, what about me?"

He quickly kept scrolling down the long bounty list, and after not seeing his name even at the bottom, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He also decided that from now on he would stay far away from Shuigu Tang, so that this person won't get caught and cause him to end up with a face covered in blood (End of chapter).
