Chapter 498

It was Su Zhangqing; he was going to ascend the Immortal Platform and draw the immortal energy into his body!

At this moment, Su Zhangqing was seen flying onto the spiritual energy staircase, standing quietly for a moment.

Boom!

The next moment, a brilliant pillar of light descended from the sky.

This pillar of light was immensely thick, slamming fiercely toward Su Zhangqing; this was the drawn-in immortal energy.

When others break through to the Immortal Platform Realm, it is merely a small ray of light.

For Su Zhangqing, however, it was a giant pillar connecting the heavens, crushing down as if it wanted to blast him to death!

"Well come!"

Su Zhangqing looked at the incoming immortal energy and chuckled aloud.

Seeing this, the Emperor's expression changed instantly.

"Not good!"

"Drawing immortal energy into the body places a certain burden on the physique."

"This burden relies entirely on the strength of the body to withstand; if the body's strength is insufficient and cannot withstand it, one will explode and die!"

"Zhangqing's aptitude is so heaven-defying that he actually manifested such a large Immortal Platform, drawing in such a massive amount of immortal energy."

"When so much immortal energy enters the body, the burden on the physique is also immensely huge."

"I estimate that even experts at the high stage of the Immortal Platform could not withstand so much immortal energy. Zhangqing hasn't even broken through to the Immortal Platform yet; how could he possibly endure it?"

The Emperor exclaimed.

He had indeed seen the crisis within.

"What? Drawing immortal energy has a burden?"

"This kind of backlash, even the Ninth Stage of the Immortal Platform cannot withstand? One will explode and die?"

"Does that mean Senior Brother Zhangqing is in danger?"

"How could this be? Is having too good an aptitude a mistake?"

Ling Qianxue and the disciples were all shocked upon hearing this.

They had not expected that having too good an aptitude could also be dangerous.
