Chapter 3: Hundredfold Cultivation Effect! Luffy's Birth! [Second Update]

Finally—

Under Lu En's unremitting efforts.

Every day he endured hellish, devil-style training — a kind of frenzied self-torture. Not only did his body suffer agonizing drills, his mind too was ceaselessly worn down.

And so.

Just like that…

Ten days later.

Lu En had successfully raised his Ghost Back completion to 10%!

"Success!"

"Ghost Back completion has finally reached 10%!"

"This time, how great a boost will my cultivation effect receive?!"

Lu En clenched both fists, face full of anticipation.

Having just finished another round of devil-style training, his whole body was soaked through with sweat; his clothes clung tightly to him, sending a chill coursing across his skin.

Then,

The system's prompt tone sounded in Lu En's ear.

【Congratulations, Host. Ghost Back completion has reached 10%!】

【Current overall cultivation effect boost: 100x!】

W-What the hell?!

A hundredfold cultivation effect?!

Lu En's eyes went wide.

His three-year-old frame, lined with muscle, looked more imposing than a ten-year-old boy's.

"A hundredfold!"

"In other words…"

"One day of my cultivation yields the same gain in strength as a hundred days for someone else!"

"Three days of my cultivation will match nearly a year of someone else's results!"

At this moment, he was beside himself with joy.

Three days of cultivation equaling a year of someone else's results…

What kind of concept was that?

One month of cultivation would be roughly equal to ten years for someone else!

Thinking of this, Lu En became excited.

He didn't dare to imagine.

At this rate of growth, when his Ghost Back completion hit 20%, how enormous would the boost to his cultivation effect become?

Two hundredfold?

Three hundredfold?

Or a thousandfold?

By then…

A single day of cultivation might match a whole year for someone else!

Next,

Lu En suppressed the surging excitement within and hurriedly began a new round of cultivation.

Seeing the hundredfold boost to his cultivation effect…

He was absolutely brimming with energy!

Full of vigor!

And so,

Lu En began a thousand push-ups without the slightest hesitation.

"One!"

"Two!"

……

Sunlight spilled down from the edge of the sky, falling upon Lu En's small yet muscle-lined frame, bearing witness to his own effort.

Time flew by.

An hour later,

Lu En ended his training.

And achieved extraordinarily abundant cultivation results.

【This cultivation session yielded: Strength +0.01, Speed +0.01, Stamina +0.01!】

【After the 100x cultivation effect boost…】

【Host obtains: Strength +1, Speed +1, Stamina +1!】

The next second.

The instant the system's voice faded,

A warm current that appeared out of nowhere flowed into Lu En's body, raising his physical resilience.

Shortly after,

Lu En suddenly snapped his eyes open. Feeling the incomparably powerful body he now possessed, he instinctively clenched both fists — fists that held an explosive sense of power.

He'd gotten stronger!

Just one session of training made me much stronger!

"System, bring up the attribute panel."

Suppressing his inner excitement, Lu En quickly checked his current attribute changes.

【Host: Lu En】

【Strength: 6.7 (+1)】

【Speed: 6.1 (+1)】

【Endurance: 7.1 (1)】

【Ghost Back Completion: 10%】

【Overall Training Effect Enhancement: 100x!】

Today's training effect…

Overall.

Roughly equal to the combined training effects of Lu En's previous ten days!

"Hahaha!"

Seeing the massive changes in his attribute panel, Lu En burst into laughter.

With a hundredfold training effect…

How could he fail to grow stronger?!

Even the simplest, most basic training methods were enough to push his three core attributes to monstrous levels.

Not to mention…

Once Lu En began training in Three-Color Haki, his strength would surely surge with terrifying speed and leap forward!

Truly, a thousand li in a single day!

Now,

Lu En could hardly wait to find his grandfather Captain Kapu and seek the training method for Three-Color Haki.

He was confident he could…

Master Three-Color Haki before age four!

By age five, perfect it to minor mastery!

By age six…

Achieve great mastery of Three-Color Haki!

With a hundredfold training effect, Lu En had absolute confidence he could accomplish all these goals.

With only the previous tenfold training effect, he would not have had such confidence.

But now, everything was different.

A full hundredfold training effect!

Made Lu En's one day of training equal to a hundred days for others!

What others needed years to master…

For Lu En, it might take only half a month, or at most a month, to easily grasp Three-Color Haki.

This was the terrifying power of a hundredfold training enhancement.

"Time to head back to the village."

Moments later,

Lu En slowly rose from the lush grass, his body heavy with fatigue and soreness, drenched in sweat, his back marked with faint impressions and stains from the weeds.

Even the most intense training must have rhythm—tension and relaxation.

Otherwise,

Bijiang Society would inflict irreversible internal injuries on Lu En's three-year-old body, leaving hidden dangers.

And that, of course, was not what he wanted.

Now,

With a hundredfold training enhancement, Lu En could afford to slack off a little without consequence.

On his way back from the back mountain to Windmill Village,

Lu En met his grandfather Captain Kapu.

Seeing Lu En's bare upper body, the child's frame already lined with muscle, Captain Kapu's face filled with satisfaction.

"Off to the back mountain again?"

Captain Kapu wore a black suit that hugged his massive, muscular frame; his eyes carefully scanned Lu En, a flicker of astonishment hidden in his gaze.

He could feel it.

His grandson Lu En had grown stronger again!

And this time, the increase was far more obvious!

Clearly,

The improvement was far more than just a little!

"No wonder I'm proud of my grandson…"
