Chapter 31

Pfft!

One by one, the sharp white feathers were crushed into countless fragments by the shockwave produced by the intense air current from that punch.

Turning to powder,

they scattered into the air.

The next second,

Crack!

Crack!

Accompanied by a series of crisp, pleasant sounds.

It could be seen that

the deck of the entire pirate ship had already cracked open with fissures.

The dense cracks spread across the entire deck like a spiderweb, and they kept extending, spreading to even farther areas.

It looked as though…

the entire ship was about to face the fate of shattering and collapsing.

With just one punch, he nearly blasted the entire pirate ship apart on the spot!

"This—how is it possible?!"

Seeing his carefully prepared attack nullified by a single punch, Captain Kukali was instantly shocked out of his wits, a thick shade of terror surfacing in his eyes.

He instinctively retreated half a step, feeling a tingling sensation crawl across his scalp.

That punch made Captain Kukali feel a fear he had never experienced before.

Even more—

he caught the scent of death's threat.

"What kind of monster are you, exactly?!"

Looking at Lu En before him, a child only four years old, yet with a body covered all over in lines of muscle, Captain Kukali was terrified within, his throat parched, and the words slipped out instinctively.

In response,

Lu En said nothing.

He kicked off with both feet,

and his figure vanished from the spot in an instant.

As if disappearing into thin air!

Or like teleportation…

In a flash,

when he reappeared, Lu En was already standing less than half a meter from Captain Kukali's side.

He raised his second fist and, without the slightest mercy, slammed it brutally into Captain Kukali's body.

Boom—

The punch landed,

striking Captain Kukali's ribs and waist.

The incomparably violent, terrifying force pierced straight through Captain Kukali's outer muscle defense.

It caved in the rib and waist area by sheer force.

At the same time,

Crack!

a light sound rang out.

The ribs shattered instantly,

and the stabbing pain rapidly spread throughout his entire body.

"Ah!"

Captain Kukali let out a agonized howl.

The heart-wrenching stabbing pain made his eyes fill with blood vessels.

Then,

Lu En's third fist was already aimed at Captain Kukali's head.

Without the slightest hesitation…

utterly decisive!

The punch slammed down.

Boundless, tremendous force erupted in an instant at this moment.

Boom!

The tremendous roar was like rumbling thunder,

deafening to the ears.

The majestic force burst forth fully from Lu En's fist, shattering Captain Kukali's skull on the spot.

It snapped the latter's skull apart,

caving the skull inward by sheer force,

and the devastatingly destructive power ruthlessly pulverized the latter's head.

And so…

Pfft!

Captain Kukali's massive head exploded apart on the spot like a watermelon!

A cloud of blood mist erupted into the air.

Dancing gracefully,

Spilling sloping in all directions.

Blood was flung,

Blood stained the vast sky.

A large patch of bloodstains, like fine goose-feather rain, drifted down in dots.

Immediately after,

A pungent, thick stench of blood drifted in with the sea breeze, spreading in all directions, filling the nostrils of every pirate on the deck.

Thud!

A dull sound rang out.

只见,

The massive body of Captain Kukali had completely lost all signs of life, collapsing heavily to the side, crashing onto the deck with a muffled, suppressed sound.

Gradually,

The power of the Devil Fruit drained away, fleeing wildly from Kukali's body.

With life gone, the Devil Fruit's power within Kukali naturally dissipated swiftly.

Not long after,

Kukali reverted to his original human form, naked, his skull shattered across the deck, his cold, headless corpse lying flat, pale and utterly bloodless all over.

Like a withered leaf…

All vitality gone,

Life withered.

Thus,

Captain Kukali, the Animal-Type Devil Fruit user once worth eleven million Berries, was brutally crushed by a single punch.

He offered not a single counterattack the entire time!

He was utterly crushed without resistance!

In the end…

His head was shattered by a single punch.

He died on the spot.
