Chapter 336

How truly confident!

Too confident in his own Logia-type Devil Fruit ability!

This may not necessarily be a good thing.

"Today, let me tell you."

"Over-relying on the Devil Fruit you carry within you — that is no good thing."

"A person still has to rely on themselves!"

"No external power is truly acceptable. Whether it's weapons or Devil Fruits, these are all merely external powers. A strong person — what is truly strong is oneself!"

"Not relying on these so-called external powers…"

"Over-dependence on the Devil Fruit — this is a well-known flaw!"

"And blindly trusting the power of (Noroa's) Devil Fruit will, all the more, lead you one day into an abyss of no return."

Lu En cast a deep glance at Smoker.

After a brief pause,

he continued with a smile, "You ask me how to break through your elementalization? It's actually very simple — just with these two hands of mine!"

"With these bare fists…"

"I'll shatter your elementalization head-on!"

The words fell.

Right before Smoker's gaze.

Lu En's mind stirred.

In an instant, Armament Haki activated!

In a flash.

Boom—

The surging, majestic power within his body rushed swiftly toward both arms.

And then…

Visible to the naked eye.

A layer of liquid substance, black as ink, rapidly coiled around his hands.

A moment later,

the liquid solidified.

The black ink transformed into black armor!

Like black jade.

Impenetrable,

incomparably fierce.

A layer of incomparably hard black armor, like gloves, firmly wrapped around Lu En's arms.

An unparalleled, majestic, awe-inspiring pressure burst forth from his body in an instant.

At this point.

The black Armament Haki armor was firmly fitted over Lu En's arms, making the aura emanating from him grow ever more fierce and terrifying.

Astonishing beyond compare!

Its might dominates the entire scene!

Like a prehistoric beast, the aura it exuded was hair-raising.

At the same time.

After Lu En unleashed his Armament Haki.

Across from him, Smoker's face changed drastically, his eyes filled with terror and shock.

Clearly.

He wouldn't dare imagine it even in his dreams.

That he would actually see the power of Armament Haki emanating from Lu En before him!

"How… how is this possible?!"

Smoker cried out involuntarily.

His face a picture of disbelief, he turned pale with fright, his eyes bulging round, staring in horror at Lu En's arms.

He saw it clearly.

The black armor wrapping Lu En's arms!

It brought him an incomparably fierce, terrifying aura of pressure.

Pressure!

Immense pressure, heavily bearing down on his body.

Smoker was completely dumbfounded.

"Ar-Armament Haki?!"

"How could this be…"

"It shouldn't be like this!"

Smoker stood rooted like a wooden chicken.

The blazing flames of fighting spirit that had originally burned in his eyes, at this moment, upon witnessing the Armament Haki armor wrapped around Lu En's arms, met the fate of being doused directly by a basin of cold water.

Gulp!

Swallowing a mouthful of saliva, Smoker could not help but recall.

A few hours ago…

Lu En had still needed to rely on the power of Sea Prism Stone to break through Smoker's elementalization.

But now.

The other side had actually mastered Armament Haki?!

This left Smoker unable to believe it.

His entire worldview had been completely overturned.

"It's only been a few short hours…"

"How could these 970 monsters possibly have mastered Armament Haki?!"

"I must be going crazy, right?"

Smoker's lips trembled, his face full of horror.

As a disciple of Master Zefa…

And the top student of the training camp.

Of course he knew about a power like Haki.

Although he was not yet qualified to come into contact with Haki training, he still understood some of the basic knowledge of Haki perfectly clearly.

For example,

The black armor he was seeing right before his eyes at this very moment.

He recognized it at first glance.

This—this was the legendary Armament Haki!

A terrifying power capable of breaking through the elementalization of Logia users!

"A few hours ago, he was clearly just like most of us, having only mastered the Six Styles of the Navy."

"But…"

"It's only been a few hours, how could he have possibly mastered Armament Haki?!"

Smoker declared he simply could not understand it at all.

At this moment,

While Smoker was stunned.

Lu En spoke again.

"This is the power that breaks through your elementalization!"
