Chapter 692: Superb Authority

Next.

Amidst the hundreds of eyes filled with shock and awe.

It was only seen that,

Xiong Zhang acted without hesitation.

With his first move,

he activated the Devil Fruit ability.

Gomu Gomu no Mi…

This was an extremely powerful Paramecia-type Devil Fruit.

Slowly, he pulled off his glove, revealing a palm resembling a bear's paw, dotted with spherical bumps.

Then,

he lightly tapped his own body with his palm.

In an instant,

Shhh!

Accompanied by a sharp, hissing sound.

Xiong Zhang vanished.

He disappeared into thin air right where he stood!

Like he had evaporated from the world…

Without the slightest trace or sign.

Even,

not a single mark remained.

There had been absolutely no prior movement or sound.

The next second.

Xiong Zhang appeared beside Lu En, his towering, mountain-like bulk crushing Lu En with overwhelming pressure; his eyes looked down from above, utterly emotionless.

Instant teleportation!

This, was true, genuine instant teleportation!

It was entirely different from the Six Powers technique "Raito" that Lu En mastered.

Xiong Zhang's Gomu Gomu no Mi truly granted him the ability to teleport.

This was not an illusion caused by speed so fast it mimicked teleportation.

It was real body-swapping!

The kind of teleportation spoken of in traditional terms.

Using the Gomu Gomu no Mi's power, he launched his body from its original spot, reappearing beside Lu En.

This, was the primary reason Xiong Zhang could teleport.

He used the Devil Fruit's power to propel his body toward Lu En's location.

"Young Master, be careful."

Xiong Zhang spoke slowly.

As his words ended,

his motion did not pause—he swiftly brought his palm down upon Lu En's body.

If this slap landed…

Lu En might be sent flying for three days and three nights.

"Kenbunshoku—activate!"

The instant Xiong Zhang vanished, Lu En had already activated Kenbunshoku Haki.

Hum!

Hum!

Countless invisible, intangible air currents surged outward from his body in all directions, engulfing everything.

In an instant,

every single movement within a five-hundred-meter radius around him became impossible to hide from Lu En's perception.

Even,

they were slowed down by billions of times, rendered clearly within his mind.

Allowing him to perceive them with absolute clarity.

Every whisper, every rustle…

Among them,

including Xiong Zhang's movements.

"Raito!"

Lu En's lips moved slightly.

He activated the Six Powers technique "Raito," giving his body the visual effect of teleportation.

Though it was merely an illusion caused by speed so fast it mimicked teleportation.

But this move precisely allowed him to evade Xiong Zhang's palm strike.

When he reappeared,

Lu En stood dozens of meters away from Xiong Zhang, his gaze fixed intently on the giant's massive frame, his face brimming with strong anticipation.

"Is this the power of the Gomu Gomu no Mi?"

"What an incredibly powerful Devil Fruit ability!"

"Stronger than most Logia types."

Lu En's blood boiled with passion.

The flame of his battle intent burned even fiercer within him.

In an instant,

boundless, terrifying power surged from within his body, flooding his limbs and extending all the way to his arms.

Then,

a black, liquid substance, like ink, coiled around his arms.

Under Lu En's control,

the liquid solidified.

Thus,

a layer of black Armament Haki armor tightly wrapped around Lu En's arms.

It gave the impression of him wearing battle armor.

A piercingly sharp aura radiated from his arms.

The black armor was like Jin Gangshi...

Imposing an unbreakable sense of pressure.

Hard,

Solid.

Unshakable!

"Armament Haki—activate!"

Lu En's gaze, brimming with battle intent, fixed on Xiong Zhi, his face smiling. "Now, please be careful—I'm going serious."

"Young master, please."

Xiong Zhi remained as calm and composed as ever.

After seeing Lu En activate Armament Haki, his eyes grew even more solemn.

Because...

He could perceive with exceptional sharpness.

The Armament Haki covering Young Master Lu En's arms had reached an extraordinarily terrifying level!

"It's far more than just Chuburu Sect level."

"Indeed..."

"Young Master Lu En defeated Bai Huzi Second Generation, and even held his own against Doflamingo. Without mastering an extraordinary level of Armament Haki, he could never have achieved such astonishing feats."

"Young Master is truly a genius born of heaven!"

"At only five years old, he has cultivated Haki to this degree."

Xiong Zhi marveled inwardly.

Seeing Lu En reveal such overwhelming Haki, he felt even more reassured and at ease.

As the Young Master of the Revolutionary Army...

Whether or not Lu En joins the Revolutionary Army, he will draw the attention of countless people across the seas and attract endless dangers.

Under these circumstances,

Lu En must possess sufficient strength to ensure his own safety.

And this is precisely why Xiong Zhi chose to spar with Lu En.

He needed to confirm.
