Chapter 74

Fortunately, he managed to steady himself by force.

This scene fell into the eyes of Captain Kapu and Bokato, who stood not far away, along with the others.

They couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

Moon Step — truly the hardest technique to master among the Six Powers.

"Lu En, kid, mastering Moon Step is not that simple."

"This time…"

"You'll need to train for at least three to five days!"

"You nearly scared me to death just now. I really thought your talent and aptitude had already reached the point where you could master any combat technique on your own without a teacher."

"Fortunately, you're still a normal kid, and you've finally failed once."

Captain Kapu's mood eased slightly.

At the same time,

This failure in performing Moon Step…

brought Lu En no setback whatsoever.

On the contrary, it still brought Lu En no small gain.

Just as he had guessed in his heart.

Sure enough!

The system's voice rang out once again.

【This training session yielded: Six Powers — Moon Step technique +0.01!】

【After being amplified by the 100x training effect…】

【The host can obtain: Six Powers — Moon Step technique +1!】

Boom—

Another wave of unfamiliar memories surged into Lu En's mind like a tide.

In an instant,

the detailed method of performing Moon Step merged into Lu En's head.

As if it had become an instinct etched into his very bones.

Like a sudden enlightening revelation.

In that brief instant,

all the confusion and puzzlement Lu En had felt about Moon Step were now completely resolved, and his thoughts became suddenly clear and bright.

As for Moon Step, he felt as if he had performed it skillfully tens of thousands of times before.

A sense of familiarity fused into his body's instincts!

Thus,

right in front of Captain Kapu,

and under the gaze of Bokato, who stood not far away, along with a group of Marines.

Lu En's tightly closed eyes suddenly snapped open. After digesting the knowledge about Moon Step in his head, he seemed to have gained a host of innate instincts.

Toward Moon Step, he felt an incomparable sense of intimacy and familiarity!

Immediately,

Lu En performed Moon Step once again.

Under the watchful eyes of all,

he took a single step forward,

Bang!

A light sound.

Like glass shattering.

The first step achieved a brief moment of hovering in midair.

At this moment,

Captain Kapu's gaze changed.

Bokato's face was also full of astonishment.

The next second,

Lu En took his second step.

Stepping on the air, the second step carried him directly up into the midair several meters high.

The lingering currents of air beneath his feet produced piercing sounds like sonic booms.

Bang!

Bang!

……

The third step,

the fourth step,

Lu En's figure rose higher and higher.

He seemed as if he were walking toward the vault of the heavens.

In an instant,

Lu En was already standing dozens of meters directly above the warship, stepping on the air, forcibly steadying his form, hovering briefly, standing aloft in midair.

The sea breeze blew gently,

The air at high altitude felt especially fresh, and the sea breeze had become incomparably cool and pleasant.

The sea breeze whipped at Lu En's clothes and hair, sending them fluttering wildly.

His feet kept tapping rapidly.

Once Moon Step was performed, one had to maintain a constant high-frequency stepping in order to keep one's body briefly suspended in the high sky.

"So this is the Six Styles' Moon Step?"

"What a practical combat technique!"

Lu En stood in midair, a satisfied smile crossing his face.

The Six Styles' Moon Step he had longed for day after day…

Had finally, as he wished, been completely mastered by him!

With this,

Only the final Six Styles' Soru remained!

Lu En was confident.

Today, he would thoroughly and completely master the Navy Six Styles!

At this moment,

When they saw Lu En's figure briefly suspended dozens of meters up in the sky, every bit of this scene fell with startling clarity into the eyes of Captain Kapu and Bokato and the others.

Leaving their faces full of astonishment.

"H-he succeeded?!"

"He really only watched it once?"

"Even Moon Step, the hardest of the Six Styles to train in…"

"Was mastered by this kid Lu En in just a few breaths' time?!"

"Th-this!"

Captain Kapu opened his mouth, his mind shaken to its core.

He was dumbfounded.

Letting Finger Pistol be mastered in an instant was one thing.

But now,

Even Moon Step, the hardest of the Six Styles to train in, had been mastered by Lu En in an instant!

This was truly beyond Captain Kapu's expectations.

He could not imagine.

His own grandson Lu En…

Just what kind of astonishing, world-shaking talent he possessed!
