Chapter 116: Conceal Heavenly Secrets, Plan

Earlier, Ye Chen mobilized Extreme Boundary's power, unleashing the Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram and Nine Heavens Chaos Mystic Thunder, breaking the Conceal Heavenly Secrets barrier set by Chaos Eye, so now he is completely exposed under the gaze of the experts in Xingkong.

It's okay, but it will take a little time; in the short term you need to constantly dodge them.

Chaos Eye said.

Okay.

Ye Chen agreed; immediately his power erupted again and he surged forward in a direction.

You have three people behind you; they likely sensed your aura; be careful, there are also five more coming this way. Chaos Eye said.

Chaos Eye said, Ye Chen did not immediately reply but instead asked Chaos Eye: "What level of cultivation do I roughly need to face ten Golden Core cultivators at once?"

However, after Ye Chen finished speaking, Chaos Eye did not reply immediately; its gaze grew deep and it said: "This question should not be asked of me; if you lack the resolve to press forward without hesitation, your cultivation path is destined to be short."

Chaos Eye said, Ye Chen fell into silence.

Press forward without hesitation?

Ye Chen thought to himself.

Previously he had never really considered this question, but after Chaos Eye said that, he began to take it seriously.

Perhaps what you say is correct.

Ye Chen said, exhaling a turbid breath.

His speed increased again; those following behind felt his aura rapidly receding and their brows furrowed instantly.

Strange, he must have sensed our aura, otherwise he wouldn't suddenly speed up.

One of those pursuing Ye Chen suddenly said.

No, we all have artifacts that can shield our spiritual sense; he shouldn't know of our existence.

Another person said doubtfully.

Regardless, first catch Ye Chen then talk; Esteemed Founder issued a death order—no matter what, he must be killed; a junior Esteemed Founder favors seems to have died at Ye Chen's hands.

After that person's words fell, his figure instantly shot toward the direction Ye Chen had previously left; the others exchanged glances, then followed him and vanished into the sky.

They didn't know that although Ye Chen couldn't sense their auras, he had Chaos Eye—this being born from cosmic chaos—so sensing their auras would be easy for it.

At this moment Ye Chen flew at full speed, trying to avoid colliding with them; with his current strength, facing one or two Golden Core cultivators is no problem, but if there are many, even though his battle power is heavenly, he could still perish.

Chaos Eye, are you ready yet?

Ye Chen asked.

Soon.

The instant Chaos Eye finished speaking, Ye Chen suddenly felt an extremely terrifying aura.

It was Golden Core Tenth Level!

Ye Chen, hand over your life!

Damn it.

Upon hearing that voice, Ye Chen gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.

Good, only one of them.

Ye Chen said through gritted teeth.

But the next moment, three more auras rushed toward him at high speed.

Ye Chen sensed this, dismissed the idea of fighting them, and in an instant began flying in a direction.

Seeing Ye Chen try to flee, the others all snorted coldly.

Ye Chen, you have offended Esteemed Founder; do you think you can escape just like that?

One of them shouted loudly, as if in their view Ye Chen was already in their bag.

You bully me like this; if I don't die this time, when I return I will surely slaughter Esteemed Founder!

Ye Chen roared loudly; this roar seemed to vent his inner anger, so the sound was especially loud.

But those who heard Ye Chen's words all laughed loudly; their laughter mocked his overreaching.

How could Esteemed Founder be killed by you? Ants are ants; they cannot tell their place; on a planet where spiritual energy has just revived, a cultivator who has barely begun training dares to oppose Esteemed Founder—utterly overreaching!

Their words were full of contempt and mockery; in their eyes Ye Chen was simply overreaching.

Ye Chen ignored them, directing all his spiritual power to flight; although he is only Golden Core Third Level, the speed he bursts forth with leaves even Golden Core Tenth Level cultivators eating his dust.

Damn, how can this native run so fast!

One of the cultivators shouted; not only him, but several Golden Core Tenth Level cultivators traveling with him also failed to understand.

Ye Chen's burst speed already far exceeds those Golden Core Tenth Level cultivators; without speed-boosting treasures on them, they might have been left far behind by Ye Chen.

The only reason they could appear ahead of Ye Chen earlier was because they had taken the route he must pass; otherwise they would struggle to catch up.

Alright.

While Ye Chen was flying at full power, Chaos Eye's voice suddenly entered his mind.

I will now help you shake off those people, then you can focus on cultivation; if possible, first seek some heavenly treasures, otherwise your cultivation will be very slow.

Okay, I understand.

After Chaos Eye finished speaking, Ye Chen immediately replied.

The next moment Ye Chen felt a strange power emanate from the point between his eyebrows; this strange power instantly enveloped those people, and afterward they were like headless flies, unable to find Ye Chen's aura.

What's going on? His aura suddenly disappeared!

Everyone was puzzled; why did Ye Chen's aura suddenly vanish?

Although his aura has disappeared, he cannot escape far in a short time; search! Dig three feet deep to find him!

One of them said sinisterly.

They had accepted Esteemed Founder's payment; if they failed the mission they dared not imagine how Esteemed Founder would retaliate.

After that person's words fell, their figures scattered in all directions; while Ye Chen, hiding in the dark, saw them isolated, his brows furrowed slightly.

He really wants to rush out now and deal with a person, but against a Golden Core Tenth Level cultivator he must employ all his methods; at that point it would easily draw others in, which is not what he wants.

Moreover, the Mixed Eye had just concealed Heavenly Secrets for him, and now, as his cultivation grows, each successive Conceal Heavenly Secrets becomes harder; he can no longer use powerful force at will, at least not before God Transformation or Crossing Tribulation.

Of course, if he completes three Extreme Boundary metamorphoses, fighting at a higher realm— even two— would not be impossible; that is the combat‑power boost that Extreme Boundary gives him!

Ye Chen stared at the person still lingering in the sky, suppressed his impulse, and quietly waited for that person to leave.

Yet Ye Chen's waiting lasted an entire hour; he never expected that person to be so patient.

Finally, after an hour Ye Chen finally saw that person depart, but to be safe he waited another half hour; indeed, half an hour later that person reappeared, frowned, looked around, and after a while left again.

After that person left, Ye Chen slowly stepped out, "Good thing I kept an extra eye."

Ye Chen thought that to himself, and the next moment his figure instantly vanished from where he stood.
