Chapter 135: Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast

If this were normal times, it would be almost impossible; Nascent Soul slaying God Transformation — among the people he currently knows, only he can do it.

Moreover, this is still with him fully unleashed.

Only when the Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram, Nine Heavens Chaos Mystic Thunder, and the power of his three-layer Extreme Boundary are fully unleashed does he qualify to slay a God Transformation expert.

But now, a Nascent Soul-stage demon beast, relying solely on its fleshly body with no divine abilities or laws, has slain a God Transformation-stage demon beast using only its bodily strength.

This is undoubtedly the most terrifying aspect.

"This place is really strange."

Ye Chen looked at the Nascent Soul demon beast that was eating and said.

Suddenly, an intense sense of crisis arose in his heart.

"Damn! I've been discovered!"

Ye Chen was greatly startled; he really couldn't figure out how this Nascent Soul demon beast discovered him, but now is not the time to think about that.

Because at this moment, that Nascent Soul-stage demon beast has opened its huge mouth toward him, generating a terrifying suction from its mouth.

Ye Chen hastily opened the Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram to block the terrifying suction, while he exerted the Nine Heavens Chaos Mystic Thunder to the fullest to get away from here.

Then, his Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram shattered with a boom the moment it touched that terrifying suction, and all the power it transformed into entered the Nascent Soul-stage demon beast's mouth.

Seeing this, Ye Chen only felt his scalp go numb.

"How can such strength and cultivation be at the Nascent Soul stage!!"

Ye Chen doesn't understand; if the muddy-eyed one were here, this all-knowing one would surely know what's going on, but now it has fallen into slumber, so Ye Chen also doesn't know.

He doesn't have much hope in the system.

Because the system doesn't always answer his questions; only at critical moments, or when it greatly affects him, does the system answer his questions or speak up on its own.

【This is the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast.】

When Ye Chen heard the system's voice at that instant, his heart instantly turned cold halfway.

"Damn system, don't choose this time to speak; you're making me scared."

However, the system didn't answer Ye Chen's voice, but rather said on its own:

【This kind of demon beast is born in the void, without foundation; it is born in the void and also dies in the void.】

【It is an anomaly among all living things; it itself possesses the law of devouring, the power to devour all things, and the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast before you is still in its juvenile stage.】

【Each of its devourings makes its power stronger; given enough time, it can become a dominant power in a region.】

Ye Chen listened to the system's words and loudly said: "Stop giving me a lecture; first tell me how I can escape, or else if this continues you'll lose your beloved host!"

【Enter actively, seek a sliver of life.】

"What the heck!?"

"Are you sure I won't directly become its nutrients?"

【Inside the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast's belly are piece after piece of independent spaces; in there you can find an opportunity to break out from its belly.】

【Moreover, inside the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast's belly, time flows differently from the outside; this can help you increase your strength to cope with your heavenly oath.】

【This Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast has devoured a large amount of living beings and cultivation resources; inside, your strength will increase even faster.】

After the system finished speaking, Ye Chen without hesitation withdrew his defense, allowing the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast to suck him into its belly.

After he withdrew his defense, instantly, an extremely terrifying suction arose around his body; almost in an instant, he could not stand and was sucked into the belly of the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast.

Ye Chen's bones all over his body exploded with sound; the last glimpse before his consciousness fell into chaos was the chaotic vortex surging in the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast's throat.

When he opened his eyes again, he actually floated in the boundless void, stepping on the flowing star sand river beneath his feet, and inside the demon beast's belly lay a fragment of the primeval starry sky!

Ye Chen looked at this scene in shock; he didn't expect that inside the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast's belly there would also be this cave-heaven scene.

At this moment, the myriad stars inside the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast's belly simultaneously flashed with light; that explosive-like light waterfall pierced into Ye Chen's eyes.

The shattered stars were wrapped in purple stellar flames; the purple stellar flames slowly collapsed; if one looked closely, one could still see the crimson-gold magma flowing in the grooves on the surface.

"This place... is the belly of the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast?"

Ye Chen looked, seeming a bit unwilling to fully believe.

Such a brilliant and vibrant starry sky actually is the belly of the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast.

But in the next instant, the scene before his eyes quickly shifted, and everything became different.

He saw far away, star corpses piled up into mountains; on the mountaintop was inserted a half-broken bronze war spear; on its tip was actually nailed a god-demon corpse with twelve wings growing from its back! The corpse's chest burst forth with an azure light lotus, each petal forged from star fragments.

"This Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast actually devoured these things!?"

Although Ye Chen doesn't know the origins of these things, from the residual aura on them one can infer that their strength in life was undoubtedly immense to an unimaginable degree.

If calculated this way, Ye Chen even doesn't know how many years this Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast has lived to be able to devour so much.

However, even if it has lived that long, this Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast is still in its juvenile stage.

"No wonder its power is this strong."

Ye Chen suddenly understood; although it lived endless years before reaching Nascent Soul stage, its power had already surpassed God Transformation, even Crossing Tribulation, and it's not impossible that it could reach Mahayana stage.

Just as Ye Chen was still marveling, a terrifying erosive force suddenly arose from this starry sky.

The moment this force appeared, Ye Chen felt an irresistible pressure.

He hastily opened his own Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram, wrapping himself within it.

At the moment the Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram appeared, he felt somewhat better.

The belly of the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast seems no different from outside; here he clearly felt that his Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram had gained the ability to resist.

After Ye Chen stabilized, the scene before his eyes changed again.

A blood-colored star river poured down from above his head; Ye Chen wanted to raise his hand to block, but he discovered that those scenes were actually a torrent composed of burning meteors.

Seeing this, Ye Chen refreshed his understanding of the Swallowing Heaven Devil Beast.

Suddenly, a roar came from this starry sky.

"Roar——"

A roar older than the extinction of stars, more shocking to the heart, shook the universe!

Ye Chen's body was washed by that roar, and blood beads seeped from every pore.

And at the end of this starry sky, in the utter darkness, two blood moons opened.

While Ye Chen was still wondering what it was, the system's voice suddenly appeared and gave him the answer.

【The natal primordial spirit of the Heaven-Swallowing Demon Beast, desperately urging the Wuji Yin-Yang Diagram, this will be your only chance to survive; after you survive this time, before the Heaven-Swallowing Demon Beast performs its next devouring, its natal primordial spirit will not appear again.】

After the system finished speaking, the Heaven-Swallowing Demon Beast's beast eyes burst forth with an unmatched mighty aura.
