Chapter 288: Visiting 2

~6 min read 1,097 words

Luo De released his spiritual perception.

But the villa before him was like a solid, impenetrable wall, blocking his spiritual sense entirely.

His perception was average to begin with.

"A spell array blocking perception? Then again, it is a mage's residence."

He paused, thinking in place.

Luo De still decided to go inside and take a look.

Before coming, the old gentleman Humbert had said someone had visited the witch Dimia here; he didn't believe a patient needing rest would frequently change locations.

His left hand rested on 【Tremor Blade】, and 【Instant Lockpick】 activated.

Click—

The thick, copper-brown wooden door emitted a crisp sound and slowly swung inward.

Another success, Tremor Staff.

Luo De pushed open the door and immediately saw the alchemical lamps on the walls still glowing.

It was broad daylight, and the villa had excellent natural lighting—who would turn on the lights for no reason?

"Something happened?"

He hurried forward to search.

The villa had few rooms; he quickly found Sharon and Dimia in the master bedroom upstairs.

He finally exhaled in relief.

The two girls lay on the same bed, sleeping face to face.

The room was messy—books, handwritten notes, and plush toys were scattered everywhere.

"Shh!"

Sharon suddenly sat up and made a hushing gesture toward him.

She must have noticed Luo De's entry long ago, but avoided sudden movements to avoid waking Dimia.

"What are you doing here?"

She whispered.

Gently pulling back the covers, she got out of bed.

At this moment, the dog-girl wore a white cropped vest, exposing her smooth abdomen with faint abdominal lines; her shoulder straps had slipped down her arms, and every movement caused her chest to bounce with firm elasticity.

Though not large, they were notably upright.

"I was worried about you."

Luo De's eyes glanced downward.

He saw she wore tiny shorts, snug against her plump buttocks, outlining their peach-like curves.

Her right leg, long and lightly furred, added an asymmetrical beauty.

A fluffy dog tail swayed behind her.

"Worried? So you broke into a girl's bedroom—with two girls inside?!"

She shoved him in annoyance; when he didn't react and kept staring at her body,

she swept her leg low.

"Get out! Don't disturb Dimia's rest!"

Luo De stepped past her and looked at the witch on the bed.

She had just rolled over; her enormous chest surged and heaved beneath the thin blanket, even pinching a small corner of the sheet.

Such unrestrained movement meant she wasn't wearing a chemise.

"What are you two doing? Not even wearing clothes?"

Sharon, seeing his gaze drift toward her sister, quickly moved to block it:

"What do you know? Girls sleep together naked!"

Luo De had no reason to stay; she shoved him out of the room.

They moved to another room upstairs.

"Dimia's condition is worse than I imagined."

Sharon sat on a chair, crossing one leg over the other.

"Didn't you fix it last night?"

"It's not that quick. Because of 【Awakened Focus】's forced acceleration, Dimia's magical accumulation is now capped at sixth tier. To break this condition is no different from rebuilding the body's magical pathways—even with the Rot Moon Seed, I need several days to prepare. And my own plague domain isn't enough; you'll need to assist me then."

As she spoke, she realized Luo De was staring fixedly at her legs.

She provocatively switched legs, crossing the other one over.

But his gaze was too blunt; Sharon herself grew flustered, her cheeks warming.

Luo De was more direct—he pulled her into his lap, his thigh pressing against the warmth of her peach-like curves.

He stirred slightly.

"No, not here—"

"What are you talking about? I wouldn't do something like that in a friend's house, would I?"

Luo De laughed.

Sharon's shy expression turned cold.

"... ou want to die?"

"Hahahaha—"

They wrestled for a while.

They returned to the topic.

"By the way, what exactly is the Rot Moon Seed good for? I still don't understand."

Luo De asked.

It sat in his spell satchel—even his identification spell couldn't discern it.

Sharon leaned against him, letting his hand rest on her smooth thigh, idly tracing patterns.

"Think of it as a divine artifact containing infinite regenerative energy—a potential path to true immortality."

"Whoa. 'Potential'?"

"Yes—if you know how to harness its power and make the Rot Moon Seed truly take root. Even the Plague Garden only uses its leaked energy to hold its ground in the Dread Field; you should understand its power by now."

But Luo De felt no real sense of it.

"So this divine artifact just fell into our hands."

"That's the importance of information, my little Luo De. Amel truly is an extraordinary genius. Had I not happened to reconstruct his memories, I'd say he was the only person on the continent who knew the Rot Moon Seed existed."

Indeed.

Even the Dark Elves didn't know— their goal had always been to seize the Dread Field; they never mentioned the Rot Moon Seed.

"Speaking of the Rot Moon Seed, I'm reminded of the Spirit Seeds. Is there a connection?"

"Of course. Both involve life, but the former emphasizes 'eternity,' while the latter focuses on 'growth.'"

Sharon lifted his hand to her face and bit it.

Chewing with her teeth, she mumbled:

"Spirit Seeds are also top-tier treasures, I originally wanted to..."

"Are you a dog? I can't understand you."

"Hahh—"

The girl pulled her saliva-coated hand away. "I mean, Spirit Seeds are top-tier treasures. I originally planned to use one to solve Dimia's problem, but they're too rare—priceless, even. That's why I had to risk entering the Dread Field."

She grinned mischievously: "All in all, you, a mere sixth-tier, did pretty well—even if I could've done it without you."

Then she bit his palm again, crunching her teeth.

Luo De smiled.

He took a preservation magic box from his spell satchel and snapped it open.

A rush of life energy and tree spirits flooded the room instantly.

Sharon's eyes widened in shock.

Her mouth, still chewing his hand, didn't close—saliva dripped onto her thigh.

"Spirit Seeds? Five of them?!"

"If you'd told me sooner, we might not have needed to risk it."

"How the hell did you get these?! You're just a lowly forest warden—how could Vivian have given them to you? Impossible. A single Tree Spirit couldn't produce five Spirit Seeds! Did you... hunt Tree Spirits?! Bahadur's crew did that—Luo De, we're not close, but I have to warn you: doing that has no good ending!"

Sharon grew serious, issuing a stern warning.
