Chapter 469: Dining and Recent Updates
The duration of this business trip was neither long nor short.
Altogether, it was just over a week.
But the 【Second Heart】's desire had intensified, leaving him restless.
So after taking the halfling Lily on a tour of Shi Ying Town and settling her into the villa on Xin Lanke Street, Luo De immediately returned to the farm's cannon room.
He invited guests one by one via the 【Chain of Distant Words】.
Soon enough.
Succubus Tally, treeling Vivian, ghoul Pan Ni, female orc Amy, and arachnid elf Yuna all arrived.
Among those invited but absent were the banshee Krist and the centaur child Ko.
Both have been recorded in the notebook.
I'll deal with them individually later.
But not now.
Luo De had girls clinging to him on all sides—front, back, left, right.
Soft curves, slender waists, full, straight legs glowed even more alluring under the pink lanterns of the 【Pleasure Party】.
The girls rushed forward, eager to taste the man they hadn't seen in days.
Swaying, rocking.
Maternal embraces, desperate longing, fierce competition.
High-stimulation severed mental links, intense fullness, slipping affection.
Satisfied pleasure.
Another decadent night.
The next day at noon.
Luo De woke slowly, opening his eyes to find a deep purple, fleshy mass blocking his vision.
It was Tally—she'd fallen asleep hugging his head.
He pried her off.
Then gently laid down Vivian, who lay curled in his arms, breathing softly in sleep.
He pulled his finger free from Pan Ni's mouth, coated in saliva.
All he needed to do now was pull his right foot out of Amy's grasp to get up.
He couldn't pull it free.
She was surprisingly strong; he couldn't pry her loose without disturbing her.
No choice.
Luo De kicked her—she had thick skin anyway.
Just then.
Arachnid elf Yuna arrived with lunch.
She had been least worn out, and recovered fastest.
"Lunch today is from the new halfling eatery: roasted oat meat rolls, beef stew, and oat-nut cookies. Drink is honey-lemon water—sweet and tart, perfect to cut the richness. Would the master prefer to eat in bed or at the table?"
"In bed."
Luo De shifted to the empty space on the bed, propping his hands behind his head.
The bed on the second floor of the cannon room was actually large—only the girls insisted on clinging to him.
Yuna brought a small bedside table and placed each dish upon it.
"Thanks."
"Serving the master is Yuna's honor."
"Then please serve me again."
Luo De didn't sit up; he slumped against the headboard and pointed downward.
He placed the small table across his chest, clearing space for Yuna to eat.
"Understood."
Yuna never refused Luo De.
Her cheeks flushed slightly.
She pursed her lips, subtly flexing her aching tongue.
Another scene of feeding from above and below.
Halfling cuisine was always good—he confirmed it after just a taste.
Rich texture, premium ingredients.
"Let me report on what's happened these past few days."
"Ah? Kuo shi wo zai (But I was)."
"Yes, just like that—yes, good."
"Hao de (Alright)."
Next,
Luo De savored the halfling food while listening to Yuna's muffled report.
Enjoyment.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Indeed, I still prefer forest life.
After obtaining the Spider Queen Luo Si's 【Listening Hair】, Yuna mastered a similar ability.
Thus, she serves not only as Luo De's personal secretary but also as the forest's intelligence officer.
Over the past week, nothing major occurred.
Just old gentleman Humbert and his stepdaughter-turned-wife Tobeka arguing again on the street;
Two dwarf restaurants on Xin Lanke Street holding a "Who Is the True Dwarf Cuisine?" contest;
The scorpion woman in Eucalyptus District sent unusual spiritual fluctuations;
And adventurers led by tiefling Lin Saixier wiped out one of the Ruins Brotherhood's hideouts—nothing beyond that level.
Also, the starfolk Haili from Ke's Plain and the half-wolf druid Ojia from the Oak District both came looking for him.
More interestingly,
The myconid Scarlett, who had been healing in the forest cave, briefly woke up.
While the rabbitwoman Oana was away, she sneaked out, claiming she wanted to settle scores with Luo De.
Soon after, the orc Amy arrived and briefly fought her.
Scarlett was beaten black and blue, and her rear was secretly shot with an arrow by the ponygirl Bond.
Her newly restored soul nearly scattered; she slunk back into the cave.
Hearing this, Luo De chuckled silently.
But after thinking seriously about it,
Scarlett the myconid is now a permanent resident of the forest—better to maintain peace with everyone.
As the forest's warden, Luo De has the duty to handle her issue.
Lunch was nearly finished.
Luo De pinched Yuna's slightly drooping elven ear; the girl instantly understood.
She sped up and went deeper.
But in technique, she still couldn't match Tally.
Forcing herself to imitate Tally's absorption technique made her frown in pain.
Then came release.
Watching the girl gasp and pull away pitifully, Luo De felt a pang of softness.
"Don't force it—follow your own rhythm."
"Mm-ha… Master likes this, Yuna can tell. As long as Master is happy and comfortable, Yuna doesn't mind how she feels."
Yuna's original vow to serve him like a beast was no lie.
She truly placed Luo De above all else—even at the cost of herself.
Luo De had advised him several times.
But his words were always light—"We'll talk about it later."
After the meal,
Yuna began cleaning, so Luo De left the cannon room villa.
He strolled around nearby Henry Farm.
Under Yuna's management, the farm was more orderly.
The farmland was neatly divided into plots; since planting season was near, workers were still busy preparing the soil.
The livestock area's barns, fences, and enclosures were all completed; the numbers of chickens, goats, and cattle were substantial.
Each farmhand here was paired with a purified ghoul to assist with heavy labor.
This mainly compensated for the ghouls' low intelligence.
Luo De nodded.
As Shi Ying Town's only large farm, he saw great potential here.
Next.
He swiftly inspected the beast-plague defense lines and forests of Claw Valley, then entered the mushroom folk's cave beneath the woods.
As he neared, he heard the voice of the rabbit folk, Oona.
"Scarlet, don't go! You can't beat Amy."
"I will! I'm avenging myself today! Let go!"
The voice was full of energy, brimming with the reckless arrogance of a bratty child unaware of danger.
