Chapter 703: Chastity

The crimson rose petals instantly turned into a mournful, pale white.

Emerald-green eyes surveyed Rod with grief and fury; silently, the lofty Daphne descended from the air to the ground amidst the transformation.

The silk-like black substance turned into pure white rose petals the moment it touched her flawless jade feet.

Moreover, this transformation continued to expand outward, covering the entire area with flowers at a speed visible to the naked eye, utterly chaste.

"Unclean one! Die!"

The body wrapped in white rose petals knelt down in a tragic yet elegant manner; the ground cracked open accordingly, and silver-white thorns shot out like living snakes, charging fiercely at Rod.

The silver-white thorns approached with extreme speed; Rod could react, but with the girl behind him, there was no question of dodging.

As he activated 【Dragon Scale Technique】, a combination move of 【War Stomp】 + 【Steel Vine Charge】 had already stomped down fiercely.

The ground cracked open in layers as well, and countless steel vines burst through the cracks from the earth.

The thorns, combined with Shock Impact and Steel Vine Stranglehold, tore through the steel vines in an instant.

"A Nature Domain?"

Rod's 【War Stomp】 and 【Steel Vine Charge】 both belonged to moves without Domain amplification, so he was naturally at a significant disadvantage when countering a Domain.

However, the shock and charge effects successfully disrupted the thorns' rhythm, causing them to jump wildly everywhere; by the time they reached him, only a small number remained.

A swarm of pitch-black, foul-smelling 【Rotten Fly Swarms】 scattered in large numbers as the Black-Gold 【Sacrificial Body Sword】 swung.

They collided with the thorns, exploding with crackling and popping sounds.

【Triggered Domain Collision Judgment!】

【Plague Domain · Rotten Fly Swarm (Rod): 75 (+5)】

【Nature Domain · Stinging Thorns (Daphne): 93】

【Result: Failure!】

Generally, when two offensive Domain skills collide, it is not simply a matter of comparing the strength of their respective Domains.

The scope of authority within their Domains is also a factor in the confrontation.

Just as the Plague Domain naturally possesses a certain suppression over the Nature Domain, the '(+5)' on the panel exists for this very reason.

If a collision occurred between a Water Domain and a Fire Domain, the correction would likely be even greater.

Puff-hoo—

The last remaining silver-white thorn leaped over the exploding Plague Flies and wrapped directly around Rod's body.

The 'Daphne' in the rose bushes looked at Vivian and Kali behind Rod with a face full of pity.

"Poor children, do not fear; come quickly, and I will lead you to escape this demon's control."

Vivian showed no reaction, simply too lazy to pay her any mind.

Kali frowned, flung the small fairies behind her, and began casting spells in succession.

Tally was stunned for a moment, pointing at herself: "What about me? Why am I not being saved?"

The 'Daphne's' look of pity vanished instantly; she looked at her coldly: "Ugly and depraved hedonist, you deserve to die just like this man!"

"I'm ugly?! You damn...! The Master said I'm the most beautiful! Even more beautiful than this stinking elf!"

The girl was so angry she laughed; the ground shadow centered on her moved from two dimensions to the three-dimensional world with a pfft-pfft sound, surging sky-high toward the 'Daphne'.

I never said that.

Rod erupted with strength in his arms and snapped the thorns.

This did not involve a Domain collision; ultimately, the authority of that Domain skill did not involve 'binding' or 'resilience', so Rod's escape and snapping did not create a confrontation with the authority.

The afterimage of 【Moon Shadow Step】 remained in place, pulling out a blurred flicker of dancing electricity, while the real body had already flashed in front of the 'Daphne' in an instant.

At this moment.

Vivian's 【Vine Entanglement】 and Kali's 【Prismatic Spray】 + 【Wave of Depletion】 dual-spell combination had already been unleashed.

The elf Young Lady knew that among the four, Rod possessed the greatest killing power, so she had already secretly confirmed with Vivian to adopt a strategy focused on negative status effects and control.

As the vines climbed layer by layer upward, and the two negative status magic strikes hit the 'Daphne'.

The strange-tempered Evil God trembled slightly, looking at the two women with pain.

"He has controlled you, hasn't he? Just like me back then..."

Vmm—

The lowered sword tip trembled and hummed; initially, only a few strands of lightning wrapped around the blade, but in an instant, it transformed into a roaring vortex of light.

The magnificent War Soul of the Sky Ancient Tree behind Rod, connecting heaven and earth, manifested and instantly annihilated the white rose petals caught in the vibration into ash.

The next moment.

The black-gold long sword, originally not even as tall as a person, had its spiritual torrent completely break free from constraints in an instant, transforming into a massive blade of light spanning heaven and earth, with blue and white flickering flames and plasma dancing on its surface, charging straight into the clouds.

The power of 【Blessing of the Sky Ancient Tree +10】 amplified once more, far greater than any previous time.

The 'Daphne's' expression became vacant.

"No Domain? How can there be such a level of power?"

She raised her hand to counterattack, but suddenly the right half of her face calmed down, her eyelids closed, forming a sharp contrast with the other half of her face, which wore an expression of arrogant scrutiny.

"Hm?"

In her shock, the white rose petals surged upward, wrapping her entire body within them.

Dragging a slash trajectory ionized with purple-red tail flames, the front row of rose petals had already melted and vaporized before the strike even made contact.

When the sword light truly struck the ground, there was no sound—

—all sounds were swallowed by the energy tide, collapsing wildly inward.

Only a blinding Bai Guang exploded outward in a ring; wherever it passed, crystal rock layers parted like cream, and rifts spewing lava extended wildly forward with the momentum of the sword.

Powerful shockwaves of residual energy lifted debris and shot it into the sky, carving hundreds of fire meteors across the night sky of the flawless crystal land.

The entire wasteland was split in two!

The light screen dispersed.

The 【Offering Body Sword】 in Rod's hand was reduced to only half a reddened, softened hilt.

And on the horizon, a crystallized canyon stretching over a dozen kilometers was steaming with dark-red embers, with heat waves that warped the air slowly rising, then quickly oxidizing to a charred black as the air cooled.

"Are you trying to destroy the entire labyrinth?"

Lady Kali stammered in astonishment, unable to hold back the words.

"Huh? Isn't this labyrinth already on the verge of collapse?"

"Well, that's true."

"Master is badass~~~"

Heat waves surged.

The white flower ball formed by the embrace of moon roses was split open by a massive blood-colored fissure; the 'Daphne' within showed a pained expression, a ghastly slash-wound torn from her right shoulder to her chest.

Even a small portion of the right side of her body hung down limply, miserable and grim.

【Domain Collision Judgment Triggered!】

【Plague Domain · Symbiotic Decay (Rod): 70】

【Life Domain · Reversion (Daphne): 92】

【Result: Failure!】

Although the collision showed failure, the power of the Plague Domain was still greatly slowing the speed of her recovery.

Both domains were above 90, but judging from their names, they were both domains within Daphne's body.

"She's not strong; Daphne is fighting her for control of the body."

Rod let out a wild laugh, then took a deep breath, instantly refilling the spirituality he had just spent.

"Let's see how many more swords you can endure!"

Lightning danced across the sword's body, about to activate once more.

'Daphne' suddenly raised her head, her single eye flashing like lightning, then split into four, instantly striking four people.

【Domain Collision Judgment Triggered!】

【Moon Domain · Foundation (Rod): 72】

【Chastity Domain · Sorrowful Sanctity (???): 112】

【Result: Failure!】

Holy shit?! 112!?
