Chapter 132: Guilliman Is Reinforcing Terra!
The tech-priest who installed the loudspeakers on the Deathwatch Dreadnoughts was a genius.
Zhou Yun watched the Deathwatch Dreadnought's aggressive curses and couldn't help but sigh.
The Dreadnoughts, their mangled bodies sealed in cold iron coffins, were already furious; those plunged into Black Rage were even more enraged, their aggression pushed to its peak.
Whether they hit the hive fleet didn't matter—they definitely hit someone in the Warp.
Then he swung his arm violently, wrenching free from the Hive Tyrant's limb, leapt off the Executioner, and swiftly put distance between himself and the two Tyranid behemoths.
The Executioner charged forward like a tank, raising its claws—longer than a grown man's body—and brought them down toward Zhou Yun's head.
But at that moment, the Deathwatch Dreadnought named Kassos hurled the corpse of the Carnifex straight at the Executioner.
The massive carcass slammed into the Executioner, forcing it to stagger backward several steps.
The towering Deathwatch Dreadnought, a steel giant, charged forward, its sharp power claws shoving the Executioner into the Tyrant.
The Tyrant had no time to dodge and took the full weight of the Executioner, the Carnifex, and the Dreadnought, crashing backward.
"Who are you!!!!"
The storm bolter mounted on the Dreadnought fired wildly, bullets pouring over the Executioner and Tyrant, momentarily suppressing both behemoths:
"Are you enemy or ally?! Why do I hear the flapping of his wings on you!?!?"
"Tell me! Is the Eternal Gate still standing? Has the Emperor taken his place beside us? What of the Primarchs?"
Kassos's voice carried fury, but beneath it lay a thread of hidden despair, like a tormented soul yearning for news of his father.
"Has the Lion arrived? Is Dorn still holding? Is the Khan still riding?"
"And where is Guilliman? Has he come to reinforce us as he promised?!"
Kassos's voice, amplified through the speaker, was so loud even Captain Calain heard it from afar.
Captain Calain understood: this ancient warrior was lost in a ten-thousand-year-old hallucination.
They believed Sanguinius walked beside them, accepting memories that were never theirs.
And this was the final fate every Blood Angel could not escape.
At the same time, Captain Calain felt a growing unease.
If this man failed to answer Kassos's questions—or worse, angered him—it could easily lead to…
Calain couldn't help but worry: how could anyone possibly answer a man who lived ten thousand years ago?
"Cough. Cough."
Zhou Yun cleared his throat and spoke:
"I am Roboute Guilliman."
"I have arrived in time to reinforce Terra."
Kassos, while pinning the Tyrant and Executioner with his storm bolter and power claws, demanded with suspicion: "Guilliman arrived in time to reinforce Terra?!"
Zhou Yun's eye twitched slightly.
He hadn't expected the Deathwatch Dreadnought's first question to challenge his identity—
but to doubt whether Guilliman could possibly have returned in time to reinforce Terra.
What image of you, Regent, do the Blood Angels of the 30th Millennium truly hold?
"Do you believe Guilliman could return in time—or do you believe I am Sanguinius?" the winged figure in white light couldn't help muttering.
Kassos studied Zhou Yun, his suspicion deepening.
"You… your height is wrong."
Kassos muttered under his breath.
Zhou Yun placed his hand beneath his collar.
The collar shifted slightly; the metal shell covering his head vanished instantly, revealing his face.
It was a fair-skinned Europid face: soft, pale blonde hair framed eyes brimming with wisdom and reason, as if holding all knowledge of the world—but upon closer look, those eyes held a fury buried so deep it was nearly invisible.
For this mission, Zhou Yun had not used Lyne's face—he used Guilliman's.
Kassos froze in place.
Captain Calain also stared, momentarily stunned, nearly pierced by a shrieker's claw.
Zhou Yun's face was identical to the one Calain had seen in the Chapter's records: Roboute Guilliman.
For a moment, Calain truly believed Roboute Guilliman had been resurrected.
And that aura—no impostor could fake it unless they'd seen the Primarch up close, even lived beside him.
"Guilliman?" Kassos recognized the face: "But your height… your armor…"
"Oltremar technology, isn't it remarkable?" Zhou Yun said earnestly. "Our Oltremar tech is this miraculous—even the most remote planets have drugs that can knock out Primarchs."
Kassos studied Zhou Yun again—he seemed to see something in him.
"Then I will trust you!" Kassos intensified his fire, engaging the Tyrant in combat.
His powerful power claws matched the Tyrant's blades; the clash of metal rang endlessly through the air.
"Tell me, Kassos! Who is my enemy? Where do I find honor?!"
"Right before you, Kassos."
Zhou Yun shouted without hesitation:
"That's Horus with four arms! That's Horus with blades!"
"Horus was corrupted by Chaos—become this!"
"So this is Horus! Traitor! I'll take his dog's life!" Kassos roared, spinning his power claws, the whirring blades crushing the Tyrant to the ground.
The Executioner lunged, its claws slashing down during the moment Kassos clashed with the Tyrant.
But its blade sank only slightly into Kassos's thick ceramite armor before being blocked.
Zhou Yun appeared beside Kassos, his superhuman-gloved hand gripping the Executioner's blade.
Kassos seized the opening, roaring as his arm swept through the air like a cyclone, blasting both Tyrant and Executioner backward.
Zhou Yun seized the brief moment, teleporting instantly beside the Executioner's head.
His fist swung—air hummed violently.
The Executioner couldn't dodge; the punch struck true.
A crack echoed—the Executioner's skull burst into pulp. Kassos seized the corpse and hurled it at Horus—no, the Hive Tyrant.
"Let your Great Heresy!"
"Let your resurrection on Davin!"
"Let your ambush at Kabanha!"
"Let your burning of the galaxy!"
"Let your invasion of Terra with the Soul of Vengeance!"
As he threw, Kassos's speaker blared curses.
As a Dreadnought consumed by Black Rage, Kassos's combat power was even more terrifying than ordinary Dreadnoughts.
Even the Tyrant began to struggle under the assault.
"Kassos says: You shall never harm the Emperor or Sanguinius!"
Kassos roared, gripping one of the Tyrant's arms with his power claw:
"Perhaps you cannot harm the Guilliman beside me."
The Tyrant raised its other arm, aiming at Kassos's power limb—
Blade and power claw roared simultaneously—
!. Read
Kassos let out a low curse; half his arm was severed by the Tyrant's blade.
The Tyrant's own arm was torn off by Kassos in return.
They were nearly evenly matched—but Kassos was not alone.
Zhou Yun appeared beside the Tyrant like a ghost.
This time, he targeted the Tyrant's arm wielding the bio-weapon—
The Tyrant whirled its gun toward the sudden apparition.
"You cannot harm him! Kassos just said so!"
Kassos, now with only one power arm, charged forward, slamming his body into the Tyrant.
The Tyrant stumbled, its bio-cannon misfiring—hot shells whizzed past Zhou Yun.
The Tyrant swung its cannon, pressing it against Kassos's body.
Riiip!!!
Before it could fire, Zhou Yun ripped off its bio-weapon arm.
The living cannon fell to the ground; bio-bolts fired along the surface, shaking the earth.
The Tyrant roared, seizing the fleeting chance to break free from Kassos's grip.
It knew: it was time to flee—especially now that Zhou Yun had denied it the chance to die.
The Tyrant's remaining arm whipped its tendril-lash, striking Kassos's Dreadnought coffin.
Sparks flashed; a grotesque burn scar appeared on Kassos's ceramite armor.
"ROOOOAR!!!" A pained roar erupted from the Dreadnought—the scattered electricity had clearly injured Kassos within.
The Tyrant seized the moment and turned to flee—
"Not so fast!"
Captain Calain roared, charging forward with the Hammer of Baal beside the Tyrant.
Not far away, the shrieking assassin had already been beaten to death by the Terminators and Captain Calain.
In Calain's hand, the Hammer of Baal gathered its energy field and slammed down hard upon the Tyrant's body.
The Tyrant was struck suddenly, with no time to react, its body nearly losing balance—
Zhou Yun instantly teleported beside the Tyrant and kicked it with full force.
The Tyrant immediately lost its balance and crashed heavily to the ground.
"Beast!!!!" Kaso roared, regaining strength from his agony, grabbing the fallen Tyrant and seizing its last remaining arm, tearing it off with a brutal yank.
Though enraged, Kaso's voice carried a hint of clarity—he no longer seemed to see the Tyrant as Horus.
Perhaps the pain from the Tyrant's tentacle whips had briefly restored Kaso's sanity.
The Tyrant swung its severed arm violently, splattering corrosive blood across Kaso's body, leaving behind grotesque, jagged wounds.
"Throw it to me! Kaso! Only I can truly kill it!"
"Kaso understands! Kaso hears! He hears the sound of Saint Guilliman's wings flapping!"
Kaso roared again and hurled the Tyrant toward Zhou Yun's direction.
Zhou Yun reached out, seized the Tyrant, and shoved it into his fourth-dimensional pocket, vanishing it instantly.
Captain Calain panted heavily, staring at Zhou Yun.
The most dangerous battle was over; he seemed to be weighing whether he should continue to trust Zhou Yun—the unknown man wearing the Primarch's face.
Captain Calain even suspected this man was a follower of the Lord of Change; otherwise, how could he possess such strange teleportation and face-shifting abilities?
"He is trustworthy. Kaso trusts him."
The Death Company's Dreadnought Kaso's voice carried a touch of clarity:
"He carries the sound of angelic wings flapping. Saint Guilliman trusts him too."
Captain Calain studied Zhou Yun for a moment, noticing Zhou Yun's calm, unruffled expression—he seemed entirely unconcerned by Calain's scrutiny.
"If Kaso trusts you, then I trust you too." Captain Calain gently lowered the Hammer of Baal in his hand and gave Zhou Yun a slight nod.
He seemed about to say something more.
But suddenly, the ground began to tremble, as if an earthquake had struck.
In the distance, thick plumes of smoke rose, and through the smoke stretching to the heavens, Zhou Yun and Calain both saw a hill moving within it.
No, it was not a hill—it was
"The Worm Saint."
"The Hive Mind is desperate."
