Not every life needs a goal, and not every book needs a main plot; even though this book now has a main plot, it will still lean heavily toward the everyday.

I've read many reader feedbacks wondering why, after obtaining the Ten Thousand Souls Banner, the protagonist doesn't try to boost his strength, attain Buddhahood, or tower over all beings, feeling the banner is wasted on him and that it doesn't match the novel's title…

Also, my book's title is already clear: it's called the Human Emperor Banner, not the Ten Thousand Souls Banner—I'm writing about humans, not gods…
