I rolled my eyes. Of course it wasn't my problem that wherever I went, trouble followed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>That was the destiny of great men, and I was indeed one.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The next battle was one that I laid its foundation for this long. Before joining the grand hunt here, I made sure to spread out my forces under the leadership of Lucas.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He had one simple task to do, which was to grab the enemy's attention and make sure they got in the right place for the final fight.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This battle must be outside any territory no matter what. Fighting such a large army over a wide battlefield would turn their large numbers useless.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>No matter what, they had to disperse in between the territories of the different lords in the region. And to do so, I asked my Lucas to scatter his force into smaller groups, sending each to hunt down the scattered small armies of my enemy.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As for who this enemy was, it was easy to guess. They were the angry lords coming after Lang. Who told them to leave their lair and come looking for trouble?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I wouldn't say no to such an enticing meal, not when they came all the way to my turf.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But first I had to relieve my forces around the remaining three territories by going out and simply killing the lords there.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Each fight was just as I expected. The lords were trying their best to elongate the fight and buy their forces back at my home enough time to take my land down.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Least they'd know that such a tactic was fated to fail. My land was secure, and their forces were getting annihilated all this time.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>There was nothing like taking my land down.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Killing the three lords and taking their cubes was a simple task that didn't take more than half an hour. They didn't have any strong forces to begin with, only fodders with huge numbers and nothing more.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Yet I wouldn't say no to such an addiction. At least my strong forces would have much weaker ones to lead and use as fodders.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"It's time to get things rolling,\" as I got finished from all this, I left instructions for the scattered armies at the three territories to go and join Loran's army.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Come out!\" Then I called Lucas. I did make him the general leader of such a task force as I could call out for him at any given moment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Lord.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"How are things?\" I asked while keeping my chariot moving.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I did as lord asked, and right now these armies are breaking over a large area, trying to catch us.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Cool,\" I slowly nodded, \"go now and gather everyone over there.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I pointed towards a direction where small hills were present, \"make sure the enemy will come in separate groups, each from a different direction.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Got it.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This Lucas was really capable and dependable. He moved fast and headed to the horizon before vanishing in less than a few minutes from my sight.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The place I selected was perfect for a trap to be laid here. It was almost an hour away from the place of Loran and her forces.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And that by using my chariot's speed. So if I guessed it right, they'd take almost four hours at least to arrive here.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I didn't intend to use any of my scattered forces to lay such a trap. There were lots of eyes all over this world. And I still didn't know how they got to watch the entire place without detecting any of these eyes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Something must be used that only belongs to this world.
