Chapter 218: I'm Not Seeing Things, Am I? That's Kamikawa Nii-san (Begging for Monthly Votes)
Blood light surged, like the rise and fall of a vast sea, blanketing this stretch of sky.
It was an old man striding forward; although his hair had nearly all fallen out, he was still hale and sharp, his blood qi overwhelming. His withered body was like a demonic furnace burning, his powerful aura unlike anything an old man should possess—clearly at the absolute peak, never having grown frail.
He was a terrifying being from the Nether Eclipse Realm who had surpassed the King Realm.
As he turned his hand to suppress them, the Demon Lords' hearts all jolted, let alone the Void Demons who were weaker than them—even the Nether Eclipse beings were the same, feeling as if their flesh would be crushed and split apart, their souls burned by his flame-like blood qi.
This was the divine might of one who had surpassed the King Realm.
Clang!
The old man's hand did not fall to harm the Demon Lords; a great halberd blocked it.
"Hm? Such a young being, and you can actually block my attack."
He spoke, his voice booming like a bronze bell, looking straight at Kamikawa Mitsu who held the great halberd, a look of surprise in his eyes.
Equally surprised were Director Takahashi and the others—no, they were no longer merely surprised; they were horrified, stunned, and filled with a crazed disbelief.
"That is!!"
Countless people were shaken to their core at this moment, all wearing expressions of utter disbelief.
The next instant.
Roars, hysterical howls.
A crazed, frenzied look surfaced on every face.
Director Takahashi and the others' eyes were bloodshot, the corners cracked open yet utterly unnoticed, staring fixedly at the figure who had blocked the terrifying old man's great hand—a figure they all knew intimately, so familiar they could not be more familiar.
Kamikawa Mitsu!
That was Kamikawa Mitsu!!!!
There could be no mistake—that face, that build, that clothing utterly different from the two realms' battling beings, yet identical to the sportswear style of their own world. Everything proclaimed, told everyone, that the figure blocking the terrifying old man's attack was Kamikawa Mitsu.
This was Kamikawa Mitsu!
"I'm not seeing things, am I? That's Kamikawa-nii-san," Mizushima Iori, Muroto Meijiang and the others were dumbfounded, standing rigid and blank.
And Kamikawa Chie beside them was even more thoroughly dumbfounded, lost in a daze, as if in a dream.
"Nii-san…"
"Kamikawa-kun." With a clatter, the fruit plate in Tsuchi no Kado Xia Mei's hands dropped to the floor as she stared in disbelief at the Void Demon Realm footage being filmed on the television. Her lips were slightly parted, her eyes blank, and the same was true of Tsuchi no Kado Kenji, Director Takahashi and the others.
They knew Kamikawa Mitsu was extraordinary, but they had never imagined he could be this powerful—not even in their wildest thoughts, and even when they had discussed it back then, none of them had ventured such a guess.
A god!!!
Kamikawa Mitsu's strength had reached that of a god.
Even though they were far away, they could all feel the might and momentum unleashed by the terrifying old man—the opponent was a being comparable to a god, no weaker than one—and Kamikawa Mitsu had casually blocked his attack…
This proved Kamikawa Mitsu's strength was at least the equal of the opponent, an extraordinary being no inferior to a god!
"So this is the Ashikaga family's most outstanding descendant."
Director Takahashi and the others finally understood why the Ashikaga family had sent Kamikawa Mitsu to this world. Other extraordinary talents they had not sent, only Kamikawa Mitsu had been sent—all because of his talent.
At seventeen, he had cultivated to the level of a god and demon.
Even though they were not extraordinary beings themselves, they dared to assert that among the extraordinary, absolutely no one could reach the level of a god at seventeen. Kamikawa Mitsu was likely an exception—an ultimate exception—because he had not merely reached the level of a god; from the look of it, he was not even one step into it, but far stronger than an ordinary god.
At this moment, everyone who knew Kamikawa Mitsu—especially his relatives, friends, classmates, boss, and others connected to him—all stood dazed, feeling their minds and bodies a complete blank, nothing left but an empty shell of a body.
"So this is the talent of that world." The Demon Lords were terrified.
Although Mo Lingling had said Kamikawa Mitsu was very powerful, it had never been truly verified, and they had harbored some doubt. Now they were certain, shaken and horrified—the world where the Creator dwelt was too terrifying; a top talent could actually cultivate to surpass the King Realm in less than half a century.
For a moment, they had the inexplicable feeling that all their cultivation had been practiced on dogs; compared to Kamikawa Mitsu, they had been wasting their time.
The man had cultivated for over twenty years, equivalent to their cultivation of over a thousand years—it was simply… simply screwed, there was no damn justice!
"Which world do you come from."
The terrifying old man's eyes were bright and piercing, as if stars twinkled within. Clearly he was astonished, and could tell Kamikawa Mitsu was not a Void Demon, wanting to know what world such a being as Kamikawa Mitsu came from.
There was actually a world that could give birth to someone who could no longer be described merely as heaven-defying talent, but only as a child of fortune, a child of destiny, the favored son of the world.
"The Primordial Realm."
Kamikawa Mitsu spoke lightly, the aura he exuded so terrifying that even standing there without striking, he made people's hearts pound and they could not help but want to kneel in worship—so dreadful that the Nether Eclipse beings and Void Demons were going mad.
Boom!!
Without further words, Kamikawa Mitsu and the terrifying old man erupted.
Heaven collapsed and earth split, the sky shattered, and they transformed into two streaks of light entwined together, fighting to the death.
Hundreds of thousands of miles of sky collapsed, the void sank, space itself seemed about to shatter, as if heaven and earth were being reborn. No one present could approach; to draw near was annihilation.
The great battle was incomparably fierce, divine radiance and demonic light interweaving, Kamikawa Mitsu and the terrifying old man bathed within.
A great hand and a great halberd collided, erupting with sparks as terrifying as meteorites, like a volcano gushing forth, golden waves surging here, sweeping in all directions.
"Hah!"
Kamikawa Mitsu roared, his gaze like lightning, his whole body radiating the light of gods and demons, overwhelming battle qi surging, shaking the four corners of the heavens.
He rose into the air, the great halberd in his hand growing even more resplendent, thrusting toward the terrifying old man's chest, erupting with bursts of thunderous booming, clanging and deafening.
Clang!
Another heaven-shaking crash; the terrifying old man dodged the halberd's edge, a claw rending toward Kamikawa Mitsu, his arm vibrating repeatedly as he drove out dozens of layers of destructive force, wanting to tear Kamikawa Mitsu apart.
Clanging rang out, the great halberd like waves, spreading out endless resplendent ripples, shaking the heavens, startling all the kings into horror.
Boom!
The great halberd danced, stirring up overwhelming waves of air like surging billows piercing the sky, rolling up ten thousand zhang, drowning this stretch of the firmament, light endless, surging and heaving in the void, like flames burning fiercely.
Kamikawa Mitsu and the terrifying old man fought there, divine power gushing between palms and fingers, clashing violently, a great halberd between them stained eerie by the interweaving light, like two gods and demons in a life-and-death duel.
Director Takahashi and countless others were stunned—this was not a dream; the sight before them, Kamikawa Mitsu fighting the terrifying old man to this point, had truly reached the level of gods and demons.
This was a young god and demon dueling another realm's god and demon who had lived for several thousand years.
The erupting power, the colliding shockwaves—each surge was terrifying. Even the Demon Lords themselves did not dare to step forward lightly. This was a true peak-level battle, having reached the legendary realm spoken of in the Void Demon World—unprecedented.
