Chapter 363: My Fellow Daoists, Please Proceed on Your Journey

~7 min read 1,262 words

"Who are you?"

The Immortal Demon emitted its first roar—not a sound, but a fierce, bitter, venomous spiritual surge: having barely achieved Immortal Demon status, yet failing to be etched into history, perishing here—unwilling!

Kamikawa Mitsu looked at the Immortal Demon.

As their demonic energies dispersed, the sky instantly cleared, revealing streaks of sunlight that fell upon them.

A calm voice rang out.

"Kamikawa Mitsu."

With that, he finished speaking.

His white finger pointed at the Immortal Demon.

The Immortal Demon, who had just moments ago reigned supreme over the Yongxing Realm, making all gods and demons dare not challenge him, instantly turned to ash.

Only a dark red, ancient, dull stone crashed down like a meteor, falling into the ocean and stirring up colossal waves, killing countless marine creatures.

The stone's shape was strange.

It did not look carved by human hands, but rather bestowed by heaven.

Two ancient, vast characters were inscribed upon it.

Not Yongxing Realm script.

Resembling ancient oracle bone script, slightly different, yet its meaning was naturally understood, as if a crushing weight pressed upon the heart.

"Tai Chu!"

Many suddenly trembled.

Watching Kamikawa Mitsu extend his slender white hand and extinguish countless demonic artifacts with a single finger, slaying the Immortal Demon—though breathtakingly beautiful—they couldn't help internally muttering.

This is fucking too strong.

How long has it been since the Ming Shi Realm? His power has advanced so fast.

Though this single finger used Su Daji's technique, and most likely the opportunity Kamikawa Mitsu gained in a corner palace of Heian Kyoto was this very technique, the move is powerful indeed—but only a powerful user can wield it.

If the user isn't strong enough, even the strongest technique is useless.

Looking back.

This single finger appeared magnificent, but it was likely the most terrifying, fearsome finger in the world.

But the next moment.

As the sky cleared once more.

Amidst drifting clouds and rippling mist.

Streams of brilliant divine and demonic radiance descended.

They were the Twenty-Eight Mansions' Northern Seven Stars of the Ashiya Clan, along with the Demon Lord and others.

Like celestial gods descending to earth.

At the same moment.

At the three anomalous sites in Japan and the anomaly site in Nebraska, USA, figures of godlike and demonic arrogance had already appeared.

Some radiated monstrous aura, others glowed brilliantly, others shimmered with sacred immortal mist, others radiated demonic light like jeweled Buddhas, or…

Without exception, all were immensely powerful, among them beings no weaker than the Immortal Demon.

At this moment.

They stared in shock, their eyes filled with horror, fixed upon Kamikawa Mitsu, surrounded by descending celestial gods like stars orbiting the center.

Just seconds ago.

They had finally opened a connection to this world; its dense spiritual energy surged forth, filling them with excitement, and they all descended into this world.

Upon entering, they witnessed a scene they would never forget.

The Immortal Demon, whom they had regarded as impossibly distant, had been instantly slain…

One finger, and nothing remained.

What manner of being is this? Could it be the legendary Immortal?

Arriving with grand ambition and burning zeal to invade, now all their passion had withered, their fire extinguished.

Only one thought remained.

This world is too terrifying—it's beyond their capacity to corrupt.

Seal it!

Permanently seal this passage to this world; until they possess power equal to this, never again set foot here.

The idea was beautiful; reality was stark.

Above the nine heavens, Kamikawa Mitsu's eyes were as still as an ancient well; he glanced at the three anomalous sites in Japan and the one in Nebraska, his gaze settling on the invading gods and demons.

Beneath the blazing sun.

"The gods waged war upon the Primordial Frontiers, fighting bloody battles solely to protect this last remaining pristine land of the First Realm—this land shall not be violated. Whether your worlds know of the Primordial Frontiers or not, all invaders must die."

Kamikawa Mitsu reached out and grasped the void; a radiant divine brush appeared in his hand.

His voice, calm and devoid of discernible emotion, carried the chilling cold of an eternal winter, the darkness of an ancient epoch, spreading across this vast starry expanse.

It reached every invading world, echoing through every corner of every realm.

All beings heard it.

"The Primordial Realm shall not be violated—even Immortals must atone with blood."

No ink was dipped; his heart moved with his will.

Graceful strokes flowed.

One vertical, one horizontal, one vertical.

Simple strokes, yet they seemed to capture the end of all splendor, depict the weight of ancient time, and paint a solemn, rugged might.

Soon he drew a door, not tall—ten chi high, four chi wide.

It looked ancient and primal, not built up, but as if naturally formed by heaven and earth.

Quickly, brilliant patterns were drawn upon the door, like the Great Dao; within, a hazy chaos stirred.

The appearance of this door made all beings—including gods and demons from other realms—blink rapidly, deeply shaken, gripped by an inexplicable heart-tremor, staring at the door as if their souls might vanish at any moment.

The door spewed forth chaos, accompanied by immortal light; as the patterns completed, it grew even more hazy, yet a more unsettling vibration emanated from it.

The scene fell utterly silent. Even beings as mighty as immortals and demons opened and closed their eyes, deep as abysses, all fixed upon Kamikawa Mitsu.

At this moment.

The door was completed.

"My fellow cultivators, please proceed," said Kamikawa Mitsu.

His voice carried no worldly warmth, yet it sent a chill through every flesh and bone.

Immediately after.

He swept his sleeve, and the demonic qi scattered across the starry void from the fallen immortals and demons of the Yongxing Realm surged into a torrent, rolling forth and converging into the mysterious door.

The door grew even more hazy; from within came mysterious sounds—ancient and enigmatic, like the call of the Yellow Springs, the beckoning of reincarnation, distant and blurred, causing some gods and demons to grow dazed, unable to resist stepping toward the door.

The beings nearest to the door, before the Yongxing Realm's passage at Shishan, began to walk forward.

Their eyes were vacant, not as if lost in thought, but as if in enlightenment—they seemed to have awakened upon seeing the door, and now sought to draw closer, to comprehend even more of the Dao.

And so, that mighty god-demon of the Yongxing Realm walked into the door.

For a moment, all froze, time seeming to halt, every eye fixed on the door, waiting for a result.

Without sound or sign, a strand of blood flowed from the door, shimmering with radiant halos, becoming even more sacred—as if capable of purifying the divine souls of all gods and demons.

Yet many felt their hearts turn cold.

The aura of that strand of blood was familiar—it was the blood of the god-demon who had just entered the door, his essence-blood, flowing out like this.

It dripped down, fell upon the sea, and merged into the vast Pacific.

One god-demon had died—soundlessly, without the slightest struggle, without the faintest sound.

All gods and demons, whether from the Yongxing Realm or other worlds, felt their hair stand on end.

Meanwhile, the door grew even more hazy, its misty radiance more obscure, increasingly mysterious and grim.

Then the situation did not stop—again and again, gods and demons, like the first, grew dazed, as if possessed, walking toward the door.

No one could stop them; they rushed toward the door without regard for anything.
