Chapter 107: Classic of Mountains and Seas Reshapes the Honghuang Earth Veins
Ye Fan's gaze became even more uncertain and suspicious.
The Great Desolate World, it really is the Great Desolate World.
Zhenyuanzi?
In the myths of the Great Desolate, Zhenyuanzi was not part of the Heavenly Court.
Whether it was the Ancient Heavenly Court commanded by the Demon Emperor, or the later Heavenly Court commanded by the Jade Emperor.
Zhenyuanzi had never joined the Heavenly Court?
What on earth is going on?
Ye Fan then thought that perhaps there were some discrepancies in the legends of the Great Desolate myths, which was understandable.
Ye Fan subconsciously asked, "How did the God King manage to contact Zhenyuanzi of the Great Desolate World?"
In reality, asking this at this moment was already somewhat lacking in etiquette.
Jiang Taixu glanced at Ye Fan; because he valued Ye Fan, this junior, very much, he did not feel there was anything wrong with it.
"I unintentionally established contact with the Heavenly Court of the Primordial World and thought about whether I could ask them for help; who would have thought that the Heavenly Court would dispatch Great Immortal Zhenyuan to descend, and Great Immortal Zhenyuan directly ended the Darkness."
Jiang Taixu looked at Ye Fan and asked, "Do you know Great Immortal Zhenyuan?"
Jiang Taixu was no fool, and Ye Fan did not hide anything for the moment.
Therefore, Jiang Taixu sensed something unusual immediately.
Aside from the fact that the existence of the Chat Group was not easy to expose, Jiang Taixu told Ye Fan everything he knew.
He was actually surprised: how did Ye Fan know Great Immortal Zhenyuan?
One must know that he only learned of such an existence through the Chat Group.
However, thinking about it, since he himself could join the Chat Group, perhaps Ye Fan had his own fortuitous encounters.
After all, according to the members of the Chat Group, Ye Fan was the Son of Luck of this World.
Jiang Taixu did not dwell on it too much.
Ye Fan shook his head and said, "It is just that, vaguely, I saw some secret records somewhere that seemed to contain mentions of this person."
Ye Fan did not dare to disclose that he came from Diyu.
After all, the current Diyu was simply vulnerable before the powerful cultivators of Beidou.
Jiang Taixu nodded, said nothing more, and instead took Ye Fan with him to teach him cultivation.
Once, for Jiang Taixu, wanting to continue the path for Ye Fan, this Desolate Ancient Sacred Body, was also a very dangerous matter.
But now, with a single thought, Jiang Taixu continued the path for Ye Fan.
Ye Fan, this Desolate Ancient Sacred Body—a useless body in this current era—could finally reproduce the might of a Great Accomplishment Saint Body.
Back to the Great Desolate World.
After Zhenyuanzi concluded the affairs of the Zhetian Shijie, he returned to the Heavenly Court to report to the Heavenly Emperor.
After Zhenyuanzi finished reporting on the affairs of the Zhetian Shijie, he could not help but ask, "Your Majesty, regarding my path to becoming a Saint, I have a vague idea."
"Your idea is correct; do not hesitate."
Qin Hao looked at Zhenyuanzi and said with a smile, "Your Dao lies within the Classic of Mountains and Seas."
Zhenyuanzi had not yet stated his idea, but Qin Hao seemed to have already understood it.
How could Zhenyuanzi not understand that the Heavenly Emperor ordering him to descend to the Zhetian Shijie this time was actually to provide him with guidance?
Zhenyuanzi's eyes grew brighter and brighter; he bowed deeply to the Heavenly Emperor and said, "Many thanks, Your Majesty."
"Go! I look forward to our Heavenly Court having one more Saint."
Qin Hao did not look at Zhenyuanzi again and spoke directly.
Zhenyuanzi bowed once more, then turned and left.
Originally, Zhenyuanzi had some doubts about the Sage Dao he had vaguely glimpsed.
After all, for such a long time in the past, he had not comprehended the Sage's Dao, nor did he know where the path of a Saint truly lay or how to attain the Dao and become a Saint.
It made no sense that in such a short time, he could now understand himself and see the Sage Dao.
But now, in Zhenyuanzi's heart, there was only unprecedented firmness and persistence.
Since the Heavenly Emperor said his Dao was in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, then his Dao must be in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
Saint, Saint, the path of the Saint—all is before my eyes.
Just as Zhenyuanzi was preparing to descend to the Honghuang Continent, he encountered Old Ancestor Minghe.
Old Ancestor Minghe saw Zhenyuanzi and said with a chuckle, "Fellow Practitioner Zhenyuan, where are you off to?"
"I received instructions from the Heavenly Emperor to visit another World."
Zhenyuanzi cupped his hands toward Old Ancestor Minghe to show courtesy.
Although Old Ancestor Minghe called him "Fellow Daoist," before becoming a Saint himself, Zhenyuanzi dared not call a Saint a "Fellow Daoist."
The other party gave you face, but you must also be tactful.
In the cultivation world, there are generally only three realms.
One is senior, one is fellow daoist, and the other is ant.
Below oneself, all are ants.
Above oneself, they are my seniors.
Those with similar strength to me are fellow daoists.
Before Old Ancestor Minghe attained the Dao and became a Saint, Zhenyuanzi could honor him as a fellow daoist.
But now, even if they have a good relationship, he must address him as a Saint.
This is not only respect for Old Ancestor Minghe, but also a kind of respect for a Saint.
Moreover, he should be very grateful that Old Ancestor Minghe set an example for him by joining the Heavenly Court.
Furthermore, after joining the Heavenly Court, he constantly advised him to join the Heavenly Court as well.
Otherwise, given his personality, he would likely have pondered for a long time, and might not have joined the Heavenly Court in the end.
Without joining the Heavenly Court, relying on himself, when would he ever be able to comprehend the Sage's Dao?
Therefore, Zhenyuanzi is extremely grateful to Old Ancestor Minghe.
If he, Zhenyuanzi, could become a Saint, then the first person to thank for the grace of enlightenment would be Heaven and Earth.
As for Old Ancestor Minghe, he would be the second.
Upon hearing Zhenyuanzi's words, Old Ancestor Minghe said triumphantly, "How is it? Do you feel that only after joining the Heavenly Court did you realize the vastness of the heavens?"
"Indeed."
Zhenyuanzi sighed and said, "I must also thank the former Saint Minghe for his guidance."
"It was nothing, nothing at all."
Old Ancestor Minghe laughed heartily and said, "Later on, you will discover that it is very easy to attain the Dao and become a Saint within the Heavenly Court, and you, too, will attain the Dao and become a Saint hereafter."
Ever since attaining the Dao and becoming a Saint, Old Ancestor Minghe's personality has become much kinder, and he is all smiles all day long.
However, it is understandable when one thinks about how, in the past, he was in the Sea of Blood, where Dizang Wang Pusa stood on his head and defecated every day.
Now, after joining the Heavenly Court, he has attained the Dao and become a Saint.
That previously arrogant Dizang Wang Pusa has now slunk back to Lingshan.
Now, he dares not say anything about "not becoming a Buddha until hell is empty."
Nowadays, in the Huangquan Difu, there are two big shots: one is Empress Thick Earth, and the other is Old Ancestor Minghe.
Furthermore, they have the Heavenly Court standing behind them.
Even if Dizang Wang Pusa has two Saints behind him, he cannot withstand it.
"Then I thank Saint Minghe for his auspicious words."
Zhenyuanzi also smiled, then bowed to bid farewell to Old Ancestor Minghe, "Saint Minghe, this poor Daoist has urgent matters, so I will take my leave first."
Zhenyuanzi was anxious to go to the lower realm to search for his Sage's Dao.
Watching Zhenyuanzi's departing figure, Old Ancestor Minghe said regretfully, "Hey, sigh, don't go!"
Old Ancestor Minghe still wanted to hear Zhenyuanzi call him "Saint" a few more times.
It must be said that showing off in front of an acquaintance is extremely satisfying.
Old Ancestor Minghe shook his head and sighed, "Zhenyuanzi, oh Zhenyuanzi, with such a rash manner, how can you attain the Dao and become a Saint like this poor Daoist?"
Yet, he heard Zhenyuanzi's firm voice come back.
"Saint, I will be one very soon."
Old Ancestor Minghe could not help but be stunned, thinking incredulously, "Could it be that Zhenyuanzi has really found the path to becoming a Saint?"
Seeing Zhenyuanzi's anxious appearance, Old Ancestor Minghe could not help but feel it was highly likely.
Mainly because Zhenyuanzi, like him, had long had sufficient foundation and enough accumulation.
The only thing they lacked was an opportunity; they only needed an opportunity to attain the Dao and become a Saint.
And in the Heavenly Court, this opportunity could appear at any time.
Is it like this now, that Zhenyuanzi has also found the opportunity to become a Saint?
Old Ancestor Minghe could not help but feel regretful; it seems he will not be able to show off in front of Zhenyuanzi in the future.
However, Old Ancestor Minghe was still happy for Zhenyuanzi; since the creation of the world, only the two of them remained from that batch of people.
Too many people have fallen on this path.
Even though they were Quasi-Sages and top-tier powerhouses of the Honghuang Continent, they still perished.
Without becoming a Saint, one is ultimately an ant.
Now, after Zhenyuanzi went to the lower realm, he began to travel across the Honghuang Continent.
He mainly used the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" to record the Honghuang Continent, recording every vein of the earth on the Honghuang Continent.
The Honghuang Continent is vast and boundless, far beyond what the Zhetian Shijie can compare to.
In the Zhetian Shijie, he could record it all within a single thought.
But for the Honghuang Continent, he needed to measure every inch of land step by step.
Zhenyuanzi walked for a full hundred years before recording the entire Honghuang Continent in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas."
And Zhenyuanzi finally understood that his idea was feasible.
In the Zhetian Shijie, since the Mythological Era, the world has become more fragile.
But in reality, the Honghuang Continent is also experiencing this problem.
Since Pangu Great Heavenly Venerable created the world, the Honghuang Continent appeared.
In that initial period, the Honghuang Continent was constantly growing; its rules were growing, and its origin was growing.
But during the Dragon and Phoenix Era, Dao Ancestor Hongjun and Demon Ancestor Luohou fought for the life of the world, and the great battle between several powerhouses directly turned the Xifang Zhidi into ruins.
Since then, the Xifang Zhidi has been severely damaged, almost becoming a barren land.
Later, during the Lich Calamity, Gonggong struck Mount Buzhou in a rage, poking a hole in the sky.
During the Investiture of the Gods, the chaotic battle of the various Saints almost shattered the Honghuang Continent into fragments.
It can be said that time and time again, the destruction has made the Honghuang Continent no longer the original Honghuang Continent.
The Honghuang Continent has regressed significantly, and its rules and the Great Dao are far from as solid as they once were.
This is also the reason why those Saints did not Slicing the Three Corpses, yet the Heavenly Dao opened a back door for them.
The Heavenly Dao needs these Saints to quickly complete the rules of heaven and earth and make the Honghuang Continent strong again.
But the rate of completion is far slower than the rate of destruction; in short, the problems currently faced by the Honghuang Continent are, one could say, no different from those of the Zhetian Shijie.
Long-term destruction has caused tremendous damage to the Honghuang Continent.
The current Honghuang Continent is far inferior to the Honghuang Continent of the past.
Thinking of this, Zhenyuanzi did not hesitate; he held the Classic of Mountains and Seas and stood upon the Honghuang Continent.
His voice was clearly heard throughout the entire world.
"I, Zhenyuanzi, today use the Classic of Mountains and Seas to reshape the ley lines of Honghuang."
The Classic of Mountains and Seas slowly opened, recording the mountains and rivers of the Honghuang Continent, and containing even more of the mysteries and power between heaven and earth.
Zhenyuanzi held the Classic of Mountains and Seas high, and from his body radiated an indescribable aura—it was the vicissitudes and wisdom accumulated over time, and also the vast Qi that shares the same origin as heaven and earth.
As the Classic of Mountains and Seas in Zhenyuanzi's hands slowly turned, mysterious rays of light burst forth from between the pages, weaving through the air like swimming dragons, finally converging into a majestic force that surged straight into the clouds.
This force pierced through the endless void and descended upon the Honghuang land, causing those long-dormant ley lines to begin to slowly awaken.
For a moment, the Honghuang land seemed to radiate new vitality.
The once-dried-up rivers began to flow again, and the exhausted springs once more gushed forth clear water.
Between the mountain ranges, greenery abounded, vegetation flourished, and Creation descended.
Those once-exhausted ley lines also regained their vibrant vitality at this moment.
If the Honghuang Continent of the past was a patient covered in scars, then now, Zhenyuanzi was the one who had completely healed those scars, and even caused it to radiate an even stronger vitality.
Zhenyuanzi stood in the void, feeling the changes in the Honghuang land.
A smile appeared on his face; it was done, it was truly done.
Using the Classic of Mountains and Seas to reshape the ley lines of the Honghuang Continent.
He not only caused the ley lines, shattered by one great war after another on the Honghuang Continent, to revive, but also caused countless new ley lines to be born.
At this moment, countless living beings on the Honghuang Continent felt the changes in heaven and earth.
They could not help but look at Zhenyuanzi, and look at the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
What was Zhenyuanzi trying to do?
To reshape the ley lines of the Honghuang Continent with the Classic of Mountains and Seas—how much perseverance did this require? How much breadth of mind?
Of course, at this time, they did not yet know.
Zhenyuanzi's path to becoming a Saint lay within it.
But they knew that the Honghuang ley lines had been reshaped, and they felt this change.
It seemed as if that ancient continent from the time of the creation of the world had returned.
One must know that at the time of the creation of the world, the Honghuang Continent possessed countless legacies of Pangu.
There were too many Innate Holy Spirits who, at the moment of their innate birth, already possessed the cultivation of a Golden Immortal, or even a Great Luo Golden Immortal.
But now, the Honghuang Continent seemed to have declined, and no such innately powerful beings were being born anymore.
Yet now, as Zhenyuanzi reshaped the Honghuang ley lines, this continent seemed to possess the foundation of the continent of the past.
And accompanying the revival of the ley lines, the aura on Zhenyuanzi's body also became more profound and powerful.
He felt his connection with the Honghuang Continent become tighter, as if he had become the incarnation of the continent.
And at this moment, the surging ley line energy of the continent, like a thousand armies and ten thousand horses, surged in from all directions, converging into a vast and boundless power that merged into Zhenyuanzi, who stood upon the continent.
The Classic of Mountains and Seas in Zhenyuanzi's hands shone with great light, as if brilliant stars were illuminating the entire continent.
That light contained endless power and wisdom, evolving into ten thousand miles of mountains and rivers, as if Creation had descended, reaching directly to the other shore of truth.
With the convergence of the ley line energy, the momentum of Zhenyuanzi's body rose step by step.
His eyes flashed with a profound light, as if piercing through the essence of all things in the world.
His body formed a mysterious energy field, absorbing all of the surging ley line energy.
Zhenyuanzi roared to the sky, "Honghuang ley lines, help me become a Saint."
At this instant, Zhenyuanzi's aura became profound and vast, merging into one with the entire Honghuang Continent.
The vast voice echoed between heaven and earth, like a celestial sound that had existed since the beginning of the creation of the world, shaking the soul of every living being.
The Sage Dao was manifest, illuminating Si Hai Ba Huang.
The Honghuang ley lines lifted Zhenyuanzi up, and a supreme Saint's intent surged forth.
Zhenyuanzi became a Saint.
From this moment on, the Heavenly Court had one more Saint—Saint Zhenyuan.
Above the Honghuang Continent, countless living beings watched this scene from afar.
They bowed to Zhenyuanzi from a distance.
"Congratulations to Saint Zhenyuan on becoming a Saint."
"Wishing Saint Zhenyuan success in becoming a Saint."
With this bow, they were sincerely convinced.
Because Zhenyuanzi had reshaped the Honghuang ley lines, this was a matter beneficial to all living beings residing on the Honghuang Continent.
This was an act of great merit.
Zhenyuanzi had attained the Dao and become a Saint; they were sincerely convinced.
It was just that there were still many Great Divine Abilities who were secretly clicking their tongues in wonder.
It seemed that recently, these Saints had been appearing one after another.
And these Saints were all Saints of the Heavenly Court.
The three Sage Emperors of the Human Race, Old Ancestor Minghe, Empress Thick Earth, and Great Immortal Zhenyuan—one would not know until one looked, and one would be shocked upon looking.
The current Heavenly Court actually already possessed six Saints.
Among them, there is no need to say much about Empress Thick Earth; Empress Thick Earth had attained the Dao and become a Saint a long time ago.
The other five Saints could be said to have attained the Dao and become Saints only after coming into contact with the Heavenly Court and joining the Heavenly Court.
Since when did attaining the Dao and becoming a Saint become so simple?
From ancient times to the present, proving the Dao and becoming a Saint has never been simple.
Everyone noticed one variable among them, and that was the Heavenly Court.
If one joins the Heavenly Court, would the chance of proving the Dao and becoming a Saint be greater?
At this moment, countless people began to want to join the Heavenly Court, seeking an opportunity to join the Heavenly Court.
Joining the Heavenly Court became a momentary craze; of course, the current Heavenly Court does not accept just anyone, and only by passing an assessment can one become a member of the Heavenly Court.
The Saints from Heaven Beyond Heaven descended once again to congratulate Zhenyuanzi on proving the Dao and becoming a Saint.
Zhenyuanzi nodded to the Saints to acknowledge them; from this moment on, he was also a member among the Saints.
But he would not forget who exactly helped him prove the Dao and become a Saint.
"I, Zhenyuanzi, have become a Saint today and shall guard the Heavenly Court forever."
Zhenyuanzi also expressed his stance; he had proven the Dao and become a Saint, but he was a Saint of the Heavenly Court.
Whoever is an enemy of the Heavenly Court is an enemy of him, Zhenyuanzi.
Old Ancestor Minghe had not expected that in a short span of a few hundred days, Zhenyuanzi would have proven the Dao and become a Saint.
One year in the lower realm is one day in the Heavenly Court.
In the view of Old Ancestor Minghe, not much time had passed, yet Zhenyuanzi had directly proven the Dao and become a Saint.
Zhenyuanzi had only just joined the Heavenly Court before he proved the Dao and became a Saint.
Although Old Ancestor Minghe was in a similar situation, he felt a bit jealous of Zhenyuanzi.
When Zhenyuanzi proved the Dao and became a Saint, the Honghuang Continent also bestowed upon him a great deal of merit.
This was because what Zhenyuanzi had done was a deed beneficial to the entire continent.
This was also the reason why the Heavenly Emperor had enlightened Zhenyuanzi early on: to reshape the ley lines of Honghuang and strengthen the origin of Honghuang.
The Honghuang Continent would then give birth to more and more powerful beings, and now the entire Honghuang Continent is under the rule of the Heavenly Court.
These powerful beings would sooner or later also belong to the Heavenly Court, strengthening the Qi Luck of the Heavenly Court.
After congratulating Zhenyuanzi, the Saints departed.
